We're big beer fans, and my significant other surprised me with dinner at Wilderness followed by a visit to Tipsy Cactus. I'm so glad we went! From the moment we walked in, it felt like we were hanging out with friends. The vibe was relaxed and welcoming, with beer-themed decor lining the walls and a lively group of people enjoying the soccer game on TV. We grabbed a high-top near the beer fridge and were checking out the menu online when Saad, who was working behind the bar, came over to introduce himself and welcome us in. His energy was awesome - super friendly and easygoing - and he made us feel right at home. He checked in to see if we had any questions, which was a nice touch. We tried a bunch of different beers, both from the taps and the cooler, and honestly loved them all. You can tell they're really passionate about craft beer here. We'll definitely be back- this place is a gem!

Back in the Middle Ages, beer was considered to be a normal part of the human diet. People drank it daily because they thought it was necessary for their health. And hey, maybe they were onto something. Ah, Tipsy Cactus TapRoom & Bottle Shop, what a great place. They have 35 rotating craft beer lists, so you can always find yourself a great brew. Got a significant other who likes beer when it "doesn't taste like beer?" Ask the staff. They're knowledgeable and have great suggestions. Happy hour is every day and includes $2.00 off drafts and wine, $1.00 off bottles and cans of beer, from 2M-7PM. They don't serve food here, but if you go on their website, tipsycactusaz.com, you can find their food truck schedule.

3.5 Stars It was a busy night at Tipsy Cactus for The Brit Invasion Fish and Chips night featuring Samuel Smith Brewing for AZ Beer Week. I love AZ Beer Week and take time off from work every year since it started to go to the events. This was my first Beer Week event at Tipsy cactus and my first food truck at Tipsy Cactus since I started coming a year ago. Gabe's staff were clearly unprepared with only one hot oil pot for a bar full of patrons. 15 minute wait, then another 10 minute wait, $15.00, and the fish was tasteless. Great batter, fresh oil, and very good chips. Get a new food truck provider. The fish was that bad. A waste of money and I even asked a patron who said it was good. The Samuel Smoth organic beers were well worth the trip. I had all of them. Tipsy Cactus has standard Chandler area bar ambiance. Nothing special, but nice. Great bar staff. Angie is my favorite there. Very good beer selection. Shawn the owner, I see regularly with his wife Jo and their pack of friends so a family business. Came here with a friend last night and it was packed. Every beer I tried was good. The beer-tender made great recommendations and remembered me from my last visit, he's a super friendly guy! Last night, they had a food truck serving corn dogs. As I was doing research on the food truck, a man came around and offered a sample. It was tasty enough to inspire me. I enjoyed it.

They have a good list of beers and wines with a decent happy hour. Plenty of seats and typically have some food trucks come through.

Good place to have a beer. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly vibe. They have food trucks daily starting at 4P, merch, stickers and cozies!

I'm so glad I found this taproom. The service and beers were amazing. They have a great happy hour every day. They also have different food trucks serving food. If you are looking for a low key place with great beers you should try Tipsy Cactus.

Tipsy Cactus = Me after a couple of drinks. Wee! We stopped in after dinner one Saturday evening and it was a packed house. Tipsy Cactus was absolutely bouncing off the walls! The bartender is friendly. I wasn't sure what I wanted so he recommended that I get the Cider Corps Whiskey Charlie. He even let me taste it first. As a fan of Cider Corps already, I was impressed by their maple bourbon barrel aged black cherry cider. It was just slightly tart. We also got to try the Santa's Little Helper which reminded everyone of a Guinness. This place also has their own house Tipsy brews which is highly recommended. Tipsy Cactus is totally cute. The stools at the bar are a bit uncomfortable but that's because I'm an old lady with back problems but that won't stop me from coming back. They also have purse hooks under the bar. I like it! They also have food trucks that parks right outside if you want to grab a bite.

Awesome display of their beers on tap!

I stopped in to get a quick drink after a hard week, and I must say I enjoyed the vibe here! They serve beer and wine only, so don't come expecting any else, but they have a good selection of what they do serve! I was told that Taco Tuesday is something to experience, so I'll come back for that for sure!

It's a seat yourself joint. Focusing seating around the focal point, the big bar area. Atmosphere is pleasant, spacious and welcoming! Decent selection of food options. Huge draft, craft beer selection. The staff is friendly & offers just the right amount of attention. You won't wait long to be welcomed, for your food, for a refill or for your receipt at the end of your dining experience. We started with their honey hot wings. Our party of three decided to split one of the numerous salads they offer & went with the steak & walnut salad. It includes grilled steak slices, blue cheese crumbles & crispy onion rings ( made in house) . The dressing was a light vinaigrette that made this a delicious & delightful thing to share amongst us all. For dinner we went with one of their "create your own" pizzas. Our favorite toppings are: pepperoni, garlic & basil. This was a great presentation & pie! From service to staff, to cooks in the kitchen we had a great dining experience! Everything was legit. We will be back to try a burger next time. This is a really cool place with a wide selection of outstanding food & bar beverage options. Highly recommend it.

Despite this, there was only one person working -- a server who was also acting as the bartender -- trying to handle everything. At one point, a woman came in to pick up a to-go order and stood waiting for quite a while. When the server finally got to her, she joked, "Are you the server, bartender, and cook?" His response: "I just don't cook." Her food still wasn't ready, so she had to keep waiting. I ordered a grapefruit mimosa, which cost $9.55 but was only about three-quarters full in the wine glass. Why serve it like that? It just felt skimpy. After finishing my drink, I sat for another 10 minutes waiting to close out my tab. This was actually my second visit. We came once before for dinner with friends since we all live in Mesa and thought the concept was cool and close to home. Unfortunately, the service then was just as bad, even with more staff on shift. I had hoped stopping in for a quick drink would be a better experience -- but sadly, it wasn't. I won't be back. It's a shame because the place has potential, but management really needs to take staffing seriously.

My beertender was very friendly and accomodating. He gave my dog Hansel a bowl of water and a biscuit. This is a very dogfriendly taproom. Both beers I had were very tasty. My first pint was a Hefeweizen. It had a slight waxy mouthfeel. My second pint was an oatmeal stout. At 7.3% ABV it was a tad strong, but it went down very smoothly. I snacked on some free popcorn but it was seasoned with a strong spice. Thankfully I could help myself to the water fountain. I enjoyed the ambiance and will be back.

We decided to try the pizza salad this time around and so glad we did because it was truly delicious.
