Found out about this place since it's a convenient location for me, came a few times to get just a gel manicure, however one day Kelly talked about the dip powder nails. I decided to try and loved it. Kelly is an awesome artist and she understands about color combinations and what you're willing to try or not. The place is very clean, they take your temperature and sanitize between customers. Service among other employees are great as well, always asked if I wanted something to drink if I was comfortable at chair etc. I absolutely love my nails and I would recommend tipsy nails for anyone who wants to have a relaxing time while getting your nails done read more

I had a dip manicure with Dan. The manicure itself came out decent so I was impressed. Dan was a little difficult to communicate with and rushed me when picking a color for my nails. He rushed me before we started my nails and then again after when I was picking a color for me toes. I also arrived 15min early for my appointment so I was a little taken aback by this. He didn't put any cuticle oil on and I noticed there was residual under my nails while Chelsea did my pedicure. Thankfully another employee brought me some cuticle oil because the skin around my finger nails didn't look great. For a Saturday it wasn't very busy and the decoration/vibe here was great. Overall my manicure did come out great and they had an excellent selection so I will be returning. Could use some improvement with customer service though IMO. read more

Was a beautiful, very clean place, wasn't offered any drinks but considering you must walk pass the bar for almost any service, I don't think it's a needed for workers to ask. I came with my father, he got a basic pedi and I got a tipsy pedi with acrylic/ gel toes. Didn't spend much more than I would normally and considering how comfortable the place is I don't mind paying the little extra. Totally worth it! Especially if you're having a calming celebration of some kind! (I'd show my toes cause they look amazing but not for free, lol) read more

Beautiful modern looking new salon in Dania Point. Probably the prettiest salon I have seen in Ft Lauderdale. When I first came in they had me check in on an IPad and take my temperature and use hand sanitizer. I felt safe as I noticed all employees and guests were wearing masks. I made an appointment online which is so easy and convenient. My first time I had a manicure and special pedicure both were great. I always bring my own polish and they have the proper sanitation tools. They do have the dividers with Plexi glass only at the manicure station. Kinda wish they had it at the pedicure chairs as well. The next time I came I only had a manicure and a blow out. The manicure didn't last as long as I wanted and the blowout was great. Prices are on the high side. They have a bar and offer drinks from bottle water and wine. I didn't take anything. I will probably come back but this won't be my regular spot. read more

I have tried for over a year to give this place the benefit of the doubt. I have gotten screwed over more times that I could count. It's already hard enough to find a tech that does a good job because no one here knows what they're doing. They promote that they can do designs and everything under the sun but only 2 or 3 techs actually know how to do anything. I always book online and they and god forbid I don't answer the call a week before my appointment because they'll cancel me. Today was the last straw. I had an appointment and because I was 10 mins late trying to find parking they cancelled me. Mind you I even tried calling the salon to let them know I was in shopping center just struggling to find parking and no one ever answers. I finally gave up. I have gotten treated so poorly here too many times. Save your money and go else where. This place is over priced for shit service. read more

I planned on getting a quick refresh before travel, I wish I had time for a full spa day!!! First, the whole environment was spot on for comfort and glam. I had the best pedicure ever! I was pampered to the 10th degree. I learned more about my skin and nails in one visit than any other salon I've ever been. The staff were very engaging. Made an appointment took them over an hr to see me Within 24hrs my gel nail polish came off. Called they told me to come back when I came back they told me the girl who did my nails wasnt there ans they couldn't help me. I begged because I was going on a family birthday cruise the next day She offered me a 12 dollar credit but didn't want to do the gel because It already came off. Not refund but credit. Ended up having to get acrylics against my better judgement and ended up with a nail infection. Like anyone else I'm done with this place and want money back. I came in to show her my nail she didn't even look at it. Instead she said no refunds is their policy. When asked her to show me their policy in writing she said she was the policy. Really? Also her husband was standing there recording the whole thing making me very uncomfortable. Since when is it ok for the owner to record a customer complaining? This was my first time here and the young front desk girl had a complete breakdown complaining about another worker in front of me after she greeted me. I'm looking around and other employees notice the scene she's causing. No one apologizes or acknowledges what happened. Then the technician who did my nails had the worst customer service skills and did a sloppy job on my manicure. I'm highly disappointed since I've been wanting to try here. All the team members I met were friendly & helpful. I stopped having regular mani/pedis because most techs were not gentle and I would end up with skin nicks - not so at Tipsy - not a single nick. The girl that did mine must have been between 19-22 and she was 100%clueless on how to do a professional manicure much less pedicure. Extremely over priced. Be careful when going to one of these. I paid $102.00 and very disappointed. I voiced my complaint to Cashier Lady and she was very apologetic and asked gave me a free small hand lotion. This is a great establishment filled with talented technicians. I've been a patron for a while now, and I am confident in my opinion of this establishment. The fact the staff does not have a high turnover rate speaks testaments about the owners. Some techs are better than others; some like pushing upgrades on services, others talk on their phones while with you, some offer great recommendations, and most listen to your requests. The prices are steep compared to other nail salons in the area, but you get what you pay for. I went to Tipsy Salonbar to get my nails repainted. I had a full manicure a few days before but wanted to freshen up the polish. I specifically made a point to the esthetician to not cut or file my nails (both on the side and especially not on top). She ignored and disregarded my instructions. Further she tried to sell me services I didn't want and kept pushing. In the 20+ years I have been doing my nails I have always left a tip until today. I made an appointment for a gel manicure but apparently appointments mean nothing to them. As I was waiting 20 minutes beyond my appointment time (not counting the fact that I arrived 15 minutes early so I wouldn't set off their schedule!) I heard another client complain that she had an appointment and she had been waiting 40 minutes. I should have left then and there! I continued to wait while periodically asking where I stood and when I would be seen. Excuse after excuse--45 minutes I told them they had one more minute or I was leaving. They asked me to stay another 10 minutes while a tech finished a manicure. I left. Will never go back. My time is more important than a 45 minute wait after a scheduled appointment time, with no end in sight! read more
