Do not waste your time or money here. Not only are the staff extremely rude but they charge you for every single little thing. I paid $4 to have my nails filed and $4 to have cuticles cut.. that's something usually included in a gel manicure which is what i had asked for. I planned on doing a french manicure on my hands and white on my toes. The woman refused to put white on my toes because my skin is too "fair" for white. I have gotten that color on my toes many times in the past and no one else who has done my nails made a comment like that. Then once my manicure was almost over and i had realized almost every nail was un even and not properly filed so i asked her to re file and fix a few when she constantly kept complaining saying things like "oh my god" "are you serious?" and the best one yet "i was supposed to be out of here 10 minutes ago"... this is highly unprofessional. I have been having manicures with Kelly for about 8-10 years. I first met her she did my waxing and started to having manicures. I followed her from her previous shop to Tipsy Salonbar at Dania Pointe where her and her husband own the business. She is a very professional business owner. She not only does her work to be able to move on to the client, but takes her time with the client and educates me on her way. I recently started using the builder gel and she educated me and told me about the product. She is very observant of her surroundings and intervenes if there is a question between a customer and one of her employees. I asked for the shape of my nails to stay the same (almond) and he reshaped them into literal daggers (but jagged and uneven). My nails are so sharp that I couldn't get my contact lenses out of my eyes. Then he charged me $7 for "shaping", which I didn't realize until I looked at my receipt. Horrible experience! These are hustlers, not nail technicians! First, they stopped the complimentary mimosas and are now charging $14(inclusive of what ever credit card fees apply) upon check out. Also, the services are SUB PAR AND TECHNICIANS are highly under skilled. Cannot speak clearly, cannot advise you of what you are receiving or paying for. They try to find hidden ways to charge you for small things. And end up paying $175 for a basic pedicure and refill. Lol, please save your money. I'm not even remotely happy with what I've received. Paid 15 dollars for a "soak off" which really was just the nail tech ripping off my dip. I asked if they could soak knowing my nails are weak, but she continued, as that was "the faster way". Beautiful salon. They have all new polishes and the very latest colors which is hard to find in many of the salons here in FLORIDA. I had a 3 pm appointment for a pedicure and manicure. I didn't see anyone until almost 3:30 pm. Once I finally did get someone to do the pedicure she cut my big toe. I understand accidents can happen but she never once apologized. My wife had to ask for an antiseptic since she seemed to blow it off. The technician next to the woman who cut my toe had to give her antiseptic. The bleeding didn't stop. The technician next to me had to show her how to apply pressure to try to stop the bleeding. We also had to ask for a band aid since she didn't offer and the bleeding still hadn't stopped. We tried to make the manager aware but apparently there was no manager there. We got a call on the way back offering 10% off my next visit....needless to say I won't be back so thanks, but no thanks. read more

Went for the first time today to get a mani and pedi. They serve complimentary drinks which is a plus LOL (just tip if you want too) and the prices are just right for their services. I came a bit late so I understand the urgency of finishing on time and leaving when the shift is over. However, I felt somewhat rushed as I did come in around 6:30 or so to have a pedicure and possible manicure. The service was okay but it could have been better. The cuticles on my toes needed more work and the feet needed more dry skin removal. The service otherwise is great and the staff is very attentive. I went today to get a dip manicure and Danny, the guy who did my nails didn't listen to what I wanted. Yesterday, when I booked my appointment in person, I asked the man at the front if anyone could do the nail design I wanted. I said I preferred dip, but if they couldn't do the design in dip, I would be happy to have gel polish instead. He specifically gave me an appointment with someone who he said could do my design. So today, I showed Danny what I wanted and picked my nail color. I showed him the color twice, and said what color number it was before he picked out the dip color. When he was dipping my nails I mentioned that I didn't think it was the right color, and he said "yeah it looks more pink". When I was checking out he told the woman that I got "French dip". I know he tried to pull a fast one on me and I'm so annoyed that I spent $65 dollar on something I never wanted. Instead of him telling me he couldn't do it, he just lied to me and did something completely different. Here is a picture of what I wanted vs what I got. It's not even close! My sister introduced me to Tipsy Nail Bar in Dania Beach over three years ago and I've been coming back ever since (I live in Miami). I loved the bright cleanliness of the salon and the experiened and diverse staff/technicians. My favorites are Marina and Lily, but they are all nice. It's a complete salon. They do hair, eyebrows, waxing and of course nails. Last but not least, they offer you drinks, such as wine, mimosas and water. I'm a local, and decided to try Tipsy Salon bar. It's new and very pretty on the inside. I got a full set with gel polish. My nails initially looked very pretty when I left the salon, however after about a week my nails started lifting from the cuticles. I called the salon to tell them that my nails were lifting and felt very loose. They told me they only guarantee their work for three days. They asked me to send a picture, which I did, and they would have the manager call me back. Needless to say- that never happened. It's unfortunate that a new business doesn't care about the client. I want to start of by saying I understand many things are not the nail techs fault, and that a business needs to make their money. First thing I would like to point out, I do not feel the mail techs were as experienced. I always do acrylic overlay on my natural nails, I wanted a soak off in order to preserve my nails. My nail tech used the drill and basically made my natural nails super thin and the soak off was for nothing, you can still see the previous color under my nails. Additionally all the tools were DISGUSTING, no fresh tools whatsoever. The gentleman used the same for my hands on my toes. I pray to God I don't get an infection. This is not the nail techs fault it's the owner for not providing correct equipment. To top it off they charge for everything, speaking from going to a person that regularly gets my nails done. If I get a new full set soak off and all it's $60 WITH DESIGNS. I pay no more than $100 for new full set with designs and gel polish, today I needed to come here as an emergency. I get charged $90 for new full set no design, taking off my gel polish and just clear toe regular polish, with disgusting tools. The shaping on my nails is off, there's no apex (round natural curvature) on my nails. They didn't even fix my cuticles on my toes, they just put clear polish and that was it. For a normal person that doesn't get their nails done this place may be alright, but if you're a girl like me that has a normal nail tech and need a nail place as an emergency I wouldn't come here. Again no hate to the nail tech, he just seemed like he was rushing and didn't have the correct tools and better clean tools. Mail tech was very nice, listened to me, loved the color. read more
