We made an appointment and did not get helped until 50 minutes after our set time. They were extremely busy and didn't turn anyone away which was annoying. My pedicure was rushed and it was overall a stressful experience. My mom noticed them sharing tools without properly cleaning them. Would not go back. read more

Just your average nail salon, but they always do an excellent job. As with any nail place, service can be a little slow if they're busy, but they try really hard to get you seated right away. The staff is friendly, talented and the prices are fair. I had a gel pedicure, which did not chip and still looks great 2 weeks later. Was not impressed. Shellac coming off in 9 days vs much longer at my other salon. Only went here cause my guy was off and a friend wanted to try it out. Had hang nails that she didn't trim until I asked her. Shellac was so thin my nails felt like paper. Maybe from too long soaking in foil. My other place is much better. read more

I really like this salon. They provide services I ask for without pushing others. My shelac lasts two weeks if not longer and I struggle with it peeling off too quickly. They are friendly and give you the option to have nails and feet done together or separate. They take walk-ins or appointments. read more

I'm sorry, now that Travis and Tracey have left, I haven't had the same excellent service. I did at first, but as the the employee turnover has happened with the new owners, I don't get the same service. My manicures haven't lasted as long as they used to, last time I went, it was a Thursday and I said I need a Shellac Manicure and a pedicure. They were real busy and they said wait 10 minutes, I said no problem. I get my pedicure started and they hand me the shellac colors, I tell them, I want white tips instead of full color, so they moved on and never touched my hands until I asked at 10 minutes till 7, (they close at 7) if they were going to start my manicure, THREE people looked at the clock. I'm sorry, but I walked in and ASKED for it. It's not like I changed my mind at the last second. Needless to say, they did my shellac manicure, (I ended up taking a full color so I wouldn't have to wait even longer) and I thanked the lady for staying late to get me fixed up. I was just really disappointed that they simply forgot that I needed a manicure. Too many other nail salons in the area. read more

I went here because of the great Yelp reviews and yes the people are sweet but I hate getting my nails done for $45 when it says $40 on the menu and they don't clean up the nail. Second time I've been to Tipsy's- first time getting my nails done. Again they called to confirm my appt and actually kept it. Don was the tech selected for my full set application. I went in with a picture I found on yelp and explained what I wanted. He showed me different options. Acrylic + gel vs acrylic + regular polish. I decided to get the acrylic + gel. Don was very personable and funny. He explained the style of nail he typically does and asked what I thought and what I wanted. He was very fast too which I appreciate because I hate sitting there forever to get my nails done. I also got a pedicure which was nice and relaxing.
