DO NOT waist your time or $ Check Engine light code was P0302. They said it needed a spark plug. I asked "Will you be able to check the fuel injector, vacuum leak near cylinder 2, low engine compression, or a wiring/connector issue as well?" They said they would. I brought it in and asked the on-site mechanic the same, even put it in Google Translate so there were no communication issues. He said "No its the spark plug" before he started or even used the diagnostic scanner I said it also shakes when u take ur foot off the gas can you check that also. He said yes. He changes the spark plug, test drives it and said it's ready. I asked again about the shaking he said that is probably the engine and he will have to take it apart to find the issue but it can be done later. I drive 40 miles and the check engine light comes back on! I message the shop back on Yelp and they say it will cost $3200 to fix it! Fix what!?!? You don't even know what the problem is and you return a vehicle to me that is NOT FIXED which was the sole reason I brought it there! No accountability, no responsibility for the lack of service provided or the workers! Waisted my time and $$$. I basically paid for a service that did nothing for my vehicle! Now I have to spend another day finding a REAL Mechanic that will actually fix my vehicle instead of fixing something that does not need fixed! I should have know when another customer that was there before me was yelling at someone over the phone about the horrible service she was receiving! So after having new rims, put on my car based on the last situation where I mentioned this place, there was well let me start first here I went to Tire Boyz to have a new set of tires installed surely after installing the tires my TPM started going off I brought it back to them. He swore up and down it was because he didn't have the proper tool to register BMW TPM's But just yesterday I went and got a new set of rims and tires of which they went to go remove the TPM's to place into the new tires and come to find out one of his employees took off the TPM and never reinstalled it. I know this for a fact because they're the only person that dealt with adding tires to my car, one thing I don't appreciate is people who steal products of cars. The second thing I can't stand. Is somebody who plays stupid be very weary of any service done here. First they're open on Sunday, which was fantastic for me. Thank you, guys, for being open on that day. I just bought a 2024 FIAT 500e, snd the ride seemed overly jittery. First the dealership adjusted the alignment, but I wanted a second opinion. Tire Boyz are literally around the corner from my house. The two gents that were working today understood my concern. Within 30-45 minutes they diagnosed the car's alignment as "perfect." I paid them for the inspection (worth it, IMO) and went on my way. Throughout the 45 to 60 minutes being there I felt assured these gents knew what they were doing. I plan on taking all my cars for any possible alignment needs. Great service, very understanding and very helpful. I came in a week early to get an alignment and new tires. After a couple days of not driving the vehicle and heading to work. I realized my alignment was very off and still needed to be fix. I went back the following day and they helped out no questions asked. I got a flat tire at approximately 3pm on a Thursday in the Porter Ranch area. I immediately called all the nearby chains... American Tire Depot, Discount Tire, etc. and they were all worthless. They either didn't have my tire size in stock or they weren't taking any more walk-ins for the day. I decided to take a chance on this small, independently owned used tire place and I'm so glad I did. They not only had my tire size but the exact same make and model as my other three. The tire was in great shape - probably had less than 10k miles on it. And they got me in and out of there in 20 minutes for $75. Even if one of the big chains had my size in stock, I would have paid double and wouldn't have made it out of there in less than 3 hours. Nice guys, fast service, fair prices. I was originally charged for tire repair but later found out the tire had a blow out on the side after driving for 5 minutes. Be wary of this establishment as there are potential issues later on if not caught immediately as for any yelpers looking to get their tires here. I paid for one used tire (5/32") and tire repair at the same time with no discount and better yet charge additional $3 for using credit card. Cost: - tire repair -used tire -service charge fee Update. The tire tech said it was fine when he put it on and it was a freak accident which I don't buy. I was very uncomfortable with the gentlemen who helped me patch and replace my tire. I am 7 months pregnant and when the employee approached me he said, "I wish I could touch your stomach." I smiled and covered my pregnant stomach to make it clear I didn't want him to touch me then he said "but my hands are dirty but before you leave I need your number." Looking back, I should have left but it was Sunday and I needed to get my tire patched immediately to keep my plans with my family. Once my car was in position to get the tire changed, I got out of my car to move stuff out of the truck for the spare tire to be put back in, at that point, he handed me his cell phone to enter my phone number. I entered a fake one because I was scared to go against his wishes. Once he finished patching my tire, it was time to pay. I knew I didn't want to be alone with him so I asked if I can hand him my card to process my payment, he said no, that I would have to go inside the office to pay, I was so uncomfortable with that idea that I asked if they took Zelle or Venmo. Thankfully, they did and I zelled my payment and avoided being alone with this inappropriate employee. I didn't feel safe at all. It was basically a railroad spike. :/ I was able to get it replaced for a similar or same tire as my other tires and had it fixed in under 20 mins. I'm so glad I found this place.
