Came out of church this past Sunday and had a flat tire. I called all the local tire places and they were either closed, couldn't get to it until the next day, or required a several hour wait. I recently ran onto a curb that was so sharp it blew out my tire. After having Triple-A put on my doughnut tire, I drove to a nearby shop out of convenience to replace my tire with a used one. What they sold me as "good" was so bad that I have provided a photo of the bad tire with a bad repair job. When my Ford Explorer started wobbling on the freeway, I knew something was wrong. This time, I looked for a five star new and used tire shop. Since I was in Northridge, I hit search window and - WHAM! Up came Tire Boyz. Within seconds of my arrival, Mo and Sam took very good care of me. If you need help, you might as well follow Drew Cary's advice and "Come on down because the Price is Right!" I am completely satisfied because Tire Boyz really know how to treat a customer. They even checked the tire pressure on my three remaining tires. This is one of those places that you will always remember and refer to other because now a days customer service everywhere is trash!! To start off, the owner Sam is a NICE guy, but his employee's are a NIGHTMARE!! I originally gave them a good review for fixing my tire arms, then after a different interaction, a bad review because of a horrible guy that works there named EDGAR who screwed me. Then Sam messaged me, begging to change the review if he gave me another tire, which I did. Then the other day at the mechanic's, he noticed the tire had a leaky patch, and my tire pressure was only at 17%. I called Sam and lucky me, EDGAR answered and said to bring it in and he'd fix it. After I drove all the way there, in true EDGAR fashion, he said "We won't do business with you anymore", because they just don't LIKE when I call them on their constant SHADYNESS! I messaged Sam, but I'm sure Edgar erased it! Regardless, this shop does dangerous work, with aggressive, rude employee's. TRUST ME LADIES when I say, this shop is NOT WOMEN FRIENDLY, and there are tons of other tire options out there, even on the same street! Don't chance it, and avoid the headaches and the wrath of the EDGAR, by just going somewhere else! I NO LONGER RECOMMEND THIS SHOP! *And FYI, "America's Best" patches tires for FREEEE!! :) read more
