Got a nail in my tire and called tire central for advice. Spoke to Allen on how to get my car there. They are a tire shop and do not provide towing services. Understood. He told me to get an air compressor and try to put at least 20 PSI in there so I can drive a few blocks to get it patched up. That's good house keeping advice right there. I did that and they were able to take care of it the same day. Check 'em out, honest food people doing good work. That's what you want for a place that you're putting your trust in your tires. I had a good experience getting my tires changed. I read some of the bad reviews and I get it. I was a little frustrated with their no reservation policy. You can't call them because they are swamped. I literally witnessed the guys at the desk answer the phone to put on hold right away without giving whoever was calling a chance to respond...meanwhile having 20 ppl waiting in line in front of them. But if you get there early in the morning it's pretty good. The tire prices are slightly cheaper in exchange. I got the falken Azenis for my Tesla. Total price was $850. Next cheapest price was closer to $950 and more at other places so it came down to save a $100 and have to wait a little or pay the extra $100-200 and get it done right away with an appointment. read more

Glad I came here. My alignment was way off. I noticed while driving on the freeway with a full load of people... The steering felt jittery and unstable at 60mph... if you drive many different cars and at higher speeds, you can easily determine that something was off or misaligned. The other tale tale sign was having to replace front tires at 18,000 miles. The outter wear on the tires were bad. If you drive like a grandma and on local streets, you probably can't feel it. I set-up a query over a month ago with regards to swapping my new wheels to my existing set of wheels. very prompt and responsive, try to search if a what others review their shop, overall, they are all positive, I try their service 01/08/22, it was Saturday AM, arrive 9:05, they're pack, but I guess it's worth the wait of3.5 hours, they took care it personally as if they own the car, no hiccups, oh btw I chatted with Donald but Allen(Allan) and his two cowboys exceed my expectations. This place quoted me the most competitive prices by $30 to $40/tire for local tire shops. $130/each for a Bridgestone or $110/each for a Yokohama tire for a Nissan Sentra including installation. I visited the shop but ultimately decided not to purchase tires here due to the parking situation. Parking: It's impossible to park here. I came at Monday at 2 PM. The lot is so packed that there is only 1 lane for both entering and exiting the businesses. The cars are pretty much organized like valet parking (where one car needs to be moved to get to another car). Nearby sidewalk parking is equally completely occupied. read more

I ran over a large screw the width of a pencil. Tire went completely flat and feared buying a new/used tire. Called Tire Central, explained what happened and Allan said, "it sounds like we could plug that." Got there, he was very kind, inspected the tire and said, "I can fix it. The only problem will be having to wait an hour and a half." I said that's no problem. Then asked how much is it to fix the tire and replace the spare?" he again said, "Nothing, you'll just have to wait." I didn't understand and asked again. He repeated the same answer! First the GOOD: service was friendly, fast, professional, no complains. Next the BAD: price was way over. I made the mistake of not checking prices elsewhere first. Got charge $100 for 4 Hankooks that cost $65 elsewhere. I expected to pay a little premium for trust-worthy service, but 54% is a bit outrageous! Well, live and learn. Verdict: this is the go-to place to fix a flat, but do cross-shop on tire prices or you may get gouged. Update: Ok, gotta eat some crow. The prices I looked up were for the wrong size. Matching one are $86, so 16% over, I guess I'm a lot more okay w/that. Update 2: After more careful comparison of the final all inclusive cost, I realized Tire Central was actually a bit lower than what I can find. Updated star rating to reflect that. Also, I noticed the technician used a torque wrench to finish tightening each lug after starting with the impact wrench. We've had some serious rainfall lately and after looking at the tires on my commuter, I knew it was time for new shoes. I didn't have much time and definitely didn't feel like sitting in the LA/OC traffic, I was referred to Tires Central by a friend. Had a couple of options in mind but Allen helped me narrow it down to 2 models of Michelins. After a few mins of pondering, I opted for the more "efficient" tire. After the techs put the car in the air and removed the rims, the bad news came as they only had 3 of the 4 tires. Allen quickly placed the order and assured the tires would be in the next morning. Ended up with the other set of tires and so far they feel great. For those that complain about the lack of service and not being welcomed, I found it the complete opposite. Allen and others were welcoming, patiently answered all my questions and addressed all concerns. They do share the building with an online parts store so don't be surprised as tons of people come and go. They are pretty efficient and was able to get in/out in less time than other tire stores. If you're looking for a place that has a nice waiting room, offers you coffee/tea and tries to sell you on products you don't need DON'T come here. I came to this place whenever I needed new tires for a good price. This last time my car would shake every time I drove, so I asked the guy at the front desk to change my back two tires and to check the front two because my car was shaking a lot and I thought the tires might have a bubble. Once my car was ready, I asked if they check the tires and he said "yeah they are fine" the problem continued so I took it to another tire shop where they showed me the front two tires has a few bubbles and were starting to crack.
