Not the easiest to find. Looks as if it is part of a car lot. Not sure. The guys are nice and helpful but the facilities need some help. The customer area isn't very clean. The guys in the shop have the music blaring (I'm not that into rap) in the back which is clearly audible up front. The shop section where they do all the work appears to be very unorganized. If you have glass panels showing the work area you should have a presentable work space. Yes, I know it is an automotive repair shop, but still. The employees do not wash their hands before meeting and greeting. They also do not clean up before they get into your clean car. No gloves, floor mats, or seat covers are used while moving the car in and out. Not to mention they do not utilize the retail space very well to make additional sales. Again, great guys. However, ownership needs to put some work into the place to make it a user friendly experience. Went because of an email promotion they sent me. Showed up here the night before thanksgiving needing brake rotors and pads. They ordered parts, had them delivered within 30 minutes, and installed 2 hours later. They couldn't clear the brake light after but given the circumstances, awesome job. It's kind of hard to find and not the prettiest shop around... but it's an auto shop with honest mechanics. I've been taking my car here for two years, mostly for the value. Now, it is still because of the value, but the technicians there have never been better. Anyone who has ever gotten an oil change anywhere would probably feel like they cannot trust the mechanic because of all the upsell and scare tactics that get's thrown their way when it's time to pay. NOT HERE! These guys are genuinely honest about what's important, if it's important, or if it can wait. Every since I started driving, and before when my parents went to get their cars worked on, we'd go to Monro because it's right by our house, no big deal. Managers are constantly getting switched and more crappy ones then good ones. My boyfriend and I went in the other day because I had coupons to get our cars worked on, SIMPLE oil changes, tire rotation etc. Well... biggest waste of time and money that I have ever dealt with. I used to think they were semi-decent with actually fixing cars, but honestly they are the biggest load of crap. They tried to sell $1000 worth of parts not only to me, but the SAME parts to my boyfriend as well. My car is up to date I spoil it and all I needed was what I went in there for. However, they couldn't even do that. My tires were NOT rotated, even it said they DID on the receipt, neither was my boyfriends. His front tire was left practically flat, mine weren't touched either. Brake inspections were supposed to be done, and said they were done but weren't. I am just super irritated and will not go back and want my money back for the load of crap they didn't do yet charged me for labor. DO NOT GO TO!! Go elsewhere! read more

Had to go here for my brakes because no one else is open on Saturday. The place was closed for my appointment because the "manager" was late. When he arrived, he had his coffee with him (I hadn't had time to get mine...) and he made no apology. He was pleasant enough to talk to, but doesn't seem to know much about his job.... ANYWAY, he told me that I basically needed pads, shoes and rotors and that they would get any air out of my brake line for nothing. I told him I wasn't going to do any rotors, but that I would do front brake pads. He said that the other things weren't absolutely necessary. They had to go somewhere to get pads for my 1993 Toyota, which surprised me because they only do brakes and mufflers. So the job took about 2-1/2 hours and when it was done the mechanic told me the brakes still might be squishy (what I had come in for) because I hadn't done the rear brakes or the rotors and calipers! I asked him if he bled the brakes, and he said he only "gravity" bled the front brakes and didn't bleed the back brakes! Then we got into it, and voices were raised. I mean, if you tell me you're going to get the air out of the line, shouldn't you tell me it's only for the front brakes? The "manager" didn't tell me that the full job he described to me would be $1400!!!! To make a long story short, I decided to leave it at $190 for only replacing the front pads and bleeding the front brakes and see how it goes... The brakes were a little bettter I seriously think the manager was hung over. At least it seems that they did what they charged me for... read more

So I came into get my girlfriends oil changed. Last time she got her oil changed was here, been here multiple times. We come in today and they try to rotate the tires and said we can't get a lug nut off, where did you get your oil changed last time? IT WAS YOU WHO CHANGED THE OIL LAST TIME!!! I have used this location for a while, there were times when I was not happy with the service, but that all changed. I went for a fuel system flush, everything was explained to me as to what they were going to do and if there were any issues to let them know. Dustin Sanders is the manager of the Miamisburg location, BEST hire Monro has made. Dustin is very knowledgeable about anything about your car, as long as Dustin is at this location I will be a customer.
