I had a great experience at Tire Choice for some new tires! I wanted a place that could do tires and brakes so that removed Discount Tire. I price compared everybody in the immediate area for price including install, warrantees, future free service, etc. I found Tire Choice's prices to be 2nd lowest after Discount Tire. With their "premium" install you also get free rotations, inspections, and air for life. Given I rotate my tires twice a year this was a good feature for me that will pay for itself in 1 year. What really impressed me was I asked for new brakes. Now, 99% of the places will just do it and also upsell other repairs. Nope! The tech called and said "why do you want your brakes replaced? They're fine." Wow! Great to have an honest tech. He did recommend an alignment and I agreed that was a good idea with new tires and it has been probably 2 years since my last. Run run sad I have to put in a star trust and believe run i have 2 lawsuits already car goes in comes out with parts missing or drive back horribly they claimed no warranty not even for tires . anything they claimed is free they didn't do the work charge over two thousand dollars on my car a full tuneup...went to dealership and they ask if im ready to do a full tune up what!!! Nissan dealership showed everything on video all parts on my car was original nothing was changed not even the sparkplugs oil yes .so take my word drive pass these franchise companies and go to your local mechanics or dealership.they still get paid even if they mess up but a mom and pop mechanic shop will do their best to keep their clients read more

Made an appointment online for 5p. Their online portal had a ton of open spots and since I work till 5p, I can leave a little early and get a much needed oil change. A minute or two after I make the appointment, I get a call saying that 5:00 is booked. Ok. I asked if they could do 4:30 and they said 4:00 was the last appointment of the day. I can't head out too early, so I had to pass as I don't want to commit to something down the road. He wasn't super friendly about it at all (actually kind of antagonistic) so I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Probably will try a drive-thru place or Pep-Boys just down the road. Bummer as this place is close to a Starbucks where I could grab a coffee while I waited. read more

Dishonesty within the automotive service industry has been a concern for decades and we have watched countless times on the various local news outlets a mechanic taking advantage of an unsuspecting customer. We have seen it so many times that we would swear that it was pandemic, though I can attest to the fact that the vast majority of mechanics are honest people. Tire Choice, Avalon Park's latest automotive repair and tire shop, sadly, seems to have fallen into that small percentage of automotive repair shops that is part of the problem of, call it what you will, at the very least dishonesty to outright theft, this business, or at the very least their employee (Cody or Corey) practices dishonesty to inflate how much your visit to Tire Choice is going to cost you. I came in with two issues. One being my license plate light was out and my check engine light came on. Two unrelated problems and they were able to get me in and repair it (they are new and not busy). Three hundred and sixty something dollars later I leave happy. Cars cost money. Now Cody did try a pretty hardcore push on doing a top end cleaner. Are these necessary? The jury is still out with some saying yes and some saying no. I will say that my car is inching towards three hundred thousand miles and I have never had one and my Cadillac runs great. Anyway, he then told me my tires were bad and I had to change them. I asked how bad and he said that the metal wasn't sticking out yet, but it was close. I told them that I usually use Goodyear because my job takes me throughout the southeast and into a lot of smaller towns and Goodyear seems to be the most represented and since I get road hazard insurance, it makes the most sense. A few days later I have a bad leak in my tire and head to Goodyear. I had a nail in my driver side rear tire and it was on the side, which means that they could not repair it, so I was given a free replacement. The girl at Goodyear said the only drawback is that I had a brand new tire at 10mm and the others were at 4mm. Knowing that Tire Choice said that I desperately needed new tires, I asked should I replace the others. I was told that they don't even begin to recommend changing the tires at 2mm and that I had plenty of life on my tires. I asked if I would have at least 10,000 miles and she responded at least that much. So, Cody or Corey was saying that my tires needed changing immediately, but that is an outright lie and I would consider it no different than theft by deception. We do not need people in this industry who resort to dishonest practices such as this. I followed up with their corporate and asked for an update and they said that they cannot give me an update, but would convey my complaint to the branch. I took this as unacceptable. Someone representing Tore Choice tried to rob me and by them telling me they cannot give me an update means, at least to me, that nothing will be done. read more

They say one hour it took three hours. I told them to check the spark plugs, they check the whole car and finally they saw problem and said is socket and send on my way without fixing it. they scam me out of $187.00 never going back. read more

I wanted to take the time to say I went to Tire Choice today for new wheels and tires to be put on and they did a great job. Price was fair and they did not scratch my new rims like I have been warned by other people that had other places mess up there rims. They do all kinds of work there too. They were doing struts, oil changes, alternators, window regulators and so much more. If you need something done check them out. read more

Brought my truck here for an alignment because I hit a pothole on the front driver's side wheel. the only positive thing about my visit was that the person at the front desk was helpful and kind. I have a lifted truck with big wheels and tires and I guess the technician didn't like that because he was visually aggravated and drove my truck onto the machine without any care at all (drove my truck around the parking lot like a go cart. Going in reverse very fast then slamming on the breaks.) Due to the lift and big tires on my truck it is extremely easy to look at the front of the truck and notice that the camber and toe on my front left wheel was not right at all. Instead of going to the problematic side and fixing it he went to the side that was completely fine and proceeded to find the easiest way to make the truck drive straight inside of correcting the issue and properly aligning the vehicle. The truck still pulls to the left slightly but now it wonders all over the road. I'm not a mechanic but I'm definitely not an idiot and now after maybe 100miles my tires are starting to wear due to the extremely poor Job this shop did. Personally I think the technician knew what he was supposed to adjust but chose not to. I'm not happy at all with this shop and if I could have it my way the technician that worked on my truck would never be able to touch a vehicle again. read more

Went to get 2 tires changed in January 2023. I had an appointment. I asked how long it will take. I was told 30 minute. I stuck around. It was done 2:15 later. Uhhh Silly reason about not having the right tool to put the tires back on saying my rims were bent (false) isn this a tires place? Worst shop on the face of this earth. They fixed everything that I didn't bring the car in for, once the car was returned a day later I came back to the shop to complain about the exact same problem. Charge me $1,310.00 for issues that apparently were not causing my original problem. Then they wanted an additional $1,100.00 to fix the actual problem I brought the car in for, so I left. Gave them one more shot and of course poor results, with no resolution in sight... still out of my original $1,310.00 - please save yourself. This building would serve a better purpose as a second Starbucks so I won't have to wait so long in line next door... what a joke. read more

My skid plate was hanging down on one side and I was afraid it would get caught on something. I had taken it to one place twice that was too busy to even look at it. This company looked at it right away and fixed it too. No charge as it only took one screw to fix. I did give the mechanic who fixed it $10 for his trouble. I see some early reviews that weren't good, but maybe management has changed. When I need new tires, I will be giving them first shot. read more

The ONLY reason I'm giving them one star is because I have to in order to leave a review. This place is horrible. I took my car because it was having an issue and they "fixed" everything but the issue I was having and charged me over $1000! Then when I took it back the following day they diagnosed it with something else!!! Then they tried to "fix" it and instead left it in shambles. I asked for them to put it together so I can take it because I have kids and need my car and they said it was operable and totally safe until they figure out how to take care of the issue. Today while I was on my way to take my child to school the car broke down in the middle of a busy intersection. I towed my car to another location where they explained that it did so due to Tires Choice messing with it and reassembling it improperly. Fortunately my child and I are safe, but this incident could have cost us our lives if I was on the highway (which I was the day before). I am extremely upset at the fact that they would claim the car was operable and safe and that I spent thousands of dollars and need to spend thousands more to fix their mistake.
