Date of Service 11/7/25: DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. Dropped my car off for an ESTIMATE ONLY and the first call I got I was told that I needed all new brakes and rotors. An hour later I was told I needed all new calipers and was given a price to complete all the work. At this time I told them I would just come and pick it up and then I was told that wasn't possible because my car couldn't be put back together and would have to be towed because supposedly parts kept breaking while they were working on it. This was a red flag and seemed completely shady because they weren't supposed to do anything but give me an estimate first. I have an extended warranty that would have covered the calipers minus $100 deductible if they hadn't started the repairs and we would have contacted the company for pre-authorization. At this point he started getting defensive and angry saying that he gave me the best price he could and if he cut the price anymore corporate would be on him. I put a review on Google and they replied with an 800 guest number to call. I have called this number multiple times, been on hold for 30-60+ minutes each time without anyone ever answering. I even called several times and left my number for a call back which never happened. After looking at other Google reviews I see that parts supposedly breaking and never being able to get a hold of anyone to discuss your complaint is a common issue with them. read more

awesome customer service! employees made me feel so at ease when I was quite stressed. I thought It was funny when they showed me the container of all the crazy things that were found in the tires. My new tire was delivered and installed within hours after first coming in. prices are a tad high but it was worth it for quality service and a quality tire! read more

Don't ever go to this place! Have your car towed away it nothing else. I went in for a screw that my tire caught slowly leaking air. They patched the hole, but upon getting home I checked and there was 40 PSI in that tire! When I reduced the PSI to 30 - 32 PSI as recommended, suddenly the pressure monitor alerted. This repair was so outgageous that I did not return, and will go elsewhere to get the pressure monitored repaired. read more

I went here because my chosen facility wasn't open on Saturdays. I asked how much it would be to fix my flat tire with a screw stuck in it, the wheel was already off of the car. The manager said $39.95 plus tax. In disbelief of sticker shock, I decided I'd wait until Monday if I had to because my preferred auto repair location only charges $17 plus tax. I decided to run up to Walmart to see what they might charge and they fixed it with a patch plug for only $18 plus tax. My daughter's car was making clunking noises when driving. Sounded like something in the front suspension. Took the car into TireChoice to have it checked out. They put the car up on the rack to check the front suspension and tires. They let us know one of the front stabilizer links was loose, along with an estimate on repairs. They provided the inspection at no cost and let us know the car was safe to drive until we can get the repairs made back home. Torrance took care of us and was very courteous. Gave this rating for price only. Needed to have my kids car brakes fixed before returning home from college. They changed out both rear rotors with all the need parts. $880 before tax. 6 weeks later I needed to have the front rotors replaced and took them to my mechanic here in a Chicago suburb. $431 before tax. What a terrible shop, I've taken my vehicle there a few times for service and repairs. Simple jobs like oil changes were fine but as soon as it came to repairs that is where the problems started. I needed a simple part replaced on my vehicle and they charged me more than $100 for a part that could be bought online for around $20, $100 for a $20 part and then nearly $200 in labor for a 1 hour job. I expect a slight markup but that was excessive. What's worse is that the part I paid for broke after just two months, when I contacted Jeff Pohlman about their warranty (which they told me there was (1 year or so)) they gave me the run around and would not schedule a service. I went to a different shop and they replaced the part for half the cost that Jeff Pohlman originally charged. But it get's better... When the other shop was replacing the part they found that a small electronic box that needed to be moved to access the part in question was never put back in place when Pohlman put the dash back together. Instead, it was simply shoved up in between the dash and the steering column. Really shotty work from a company that greatly overcharges it's customers, I am fine with paying more for good work but this was just bad. I've learned my lesson and will not be returning to Jeff Pohlman. read more

They tried to charge me over $1,000 for various parts of my car - I took it in for a second opinion at another place and they showed me that nothing was wrong. I feel like this place takes advantage of college kids who don't know anything about cars. I wouldn't want my friends to go here and get cheated out of their money. Also, they charged me almost $90 to just LOOK at my car; I've never known another car place to do that. read more
