I had front brake service (calipers, pads & rotors) performed last year on my truck by a different general manager and there were some problems. Got that fixed but this year one of the calipers froze up and was dragging. My wife was in the hospital and my dad went into a nursing home, so I was preoccupied with taking care of my family. I approached Jason, the General Manager, and after a day or two he got back to me and said he would cover most of the cost to fix the issue. I don't drive the truck that often so it wasn't a problem to leave it with him a few days. He had a great attitude and got me back on the road again with a smile on my face. read more

No Compassion....On Thursday 3/27/25 we noticed the bey door open at ( Tire Discounters, feel free to check the security camera footage)The Monfort heights Tire Discounters Store on North bend road.We we pull into the parking lot there were 2 workers.The time was 7:39 AM.The 1 worker yelled " were closed" and continued making his cup of coffee...The manager opened the door.I explained that we were on the way to the Hospital for the Birth of my Twin Granddaughters. I explained that My Father In Law needed air...The manager stated "Nope. We are closed.The Air Compressor are don't start until 8 o'clock... Shut the door and went behind the counter.....No Thanks to Tire Discounters in Monfort heights on North bend road but we made it to the Hospital just in time for my Twin Granddaughters Birth........I have Patronized this tire discounters ​on North bend road in Monfort heights for 25 years, When tho Old building next door ( Which is Now Urbs Garage.) We have received Great Service and Compassion from Urbs Garage next door.. I got my tire replaced here, a month later and the tire came off on the highway. I wouldn't trust these guys with an oil change.

Extremely friendly, knowledgeable, amazing customer service. Had to stop in to fix what I thought was a minor leak. Advised us to go in a different direction without being pushy or steering us that way. Listened to concerns, spent time talking to husband by phone, who was the one who sent me in "just to look at a leak". Came out with a brand new set of tires within hours. Offered to get me a free ride home and back. We also travel a lot, so it's reassuring to know no matter where we drive to, there is always a tire discounter near. Very professional. Highly recommend Jerome at this location. While waiting for car to be finished, offered water, coffee. Very pleasant experience, as much as getting a new set of tires can be. read more

My husband went here last week with his car. He said they were friendly, but they did try to overcharge him for a tire when he had the road hazard warranty. They also attempted to up-sell him on several things, including an outer tie rod. They then said they could not align the car without these added parts. After getting a second opinion, he found that this was not true. Lastly, one of the lug nuts was tight after being worked on here, and broke off as a result. We were told this was due to the lug nur being mis-threaded and forced on with an impact wrench. If it was like that prior, it could only be due to this location as this is where the tires were installed. He is worried about complaining because they may just try to rip us off more. The only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is that we have gone there for years and this has been the first negative experience. EDIT: I emailed the address listed in the response several times throughout the week. They asked for a phone number but then never called. Another update: It has now been two months! We had to pay someone to fix everything. ZERO contact from Tire Discounters other than the initial response to this post, which was obviously just for show. read more

After a brief test to see if a giant piece of metal laying in the middle of the highway during a downpour would phase my tires, I met up with these guys. With this experiment happening on a weekday on my way to work, I was at their mercy. They suggested a decent tire replacement that they had in stock, and after watching Perry Mason in their waiting room for only 15 minutes, they had me on my way out the door. The guys there were incredibly nice, informative, didn't price gouge me, and even pulled my car half-way out of the garage, instead of into a parking space so I wouldn't get drenched on my way to the car. I'm very lucky to have been so close to a Tire Discounters when my tire lost a game of schrapnel chicken. read more

Inflexible and not very friendly. I have had problems with service quality in the past as well. This TD location could take some lessons from the Harrison Ave location. It's a shame that not all locations provide the same level of service. read more

This is the 3rd or 4th tire discounter location I've used in Ohio and all have been very good. The counter guys and mechanics all went out of their way to help me get everything I needed done on the truck. The mechanic went out of his way to help with a request that wasn't part of his job. I had all four of my tires replaced at this location in May 2018 and immediately the air pressure in my tires started depleting. After taking my car to a trusted repair shop in my hometown in December 2018, I have learned that they damaged my TPMS sensors when putting the tires on my car. I would absolutely not recommend visiting this location, I had taken my car to them multiple times to have them assess the damage and they could not tell me the problem until the 3rd time (I definitely put off bringing my car in, I was filling the tires twice a week). What Gary has told me has been very different from anything I heard from the mechanics. I am now paying to have these sensors replaced and I am beyond frustrated with this location. read more

The worst experience I've had in many years with a service entity!  NorthBend location is horrible. I came in with a tire needing plugged as it had a couple small nails in it.  Was told too many plugs allowed in one tire and they would not plug it. I agree with that call.  They sold me new tires which I picked their best 4 Michelin tires.  Showed up the next day to have them installed and they didn't order the tires because they forgot they were to ask me for 50% down. I needed tires that day so I left my car all day with them and they put coopers on which they could get.  Picked up the car and I had immediately felt very noticeable vibration in the steering wheel.  Took the car back 3 or 4 days later to have them fix the work.  Picked it up again and no change.  I'm done with them as they were also rude and short with me and couldn't even tell me what tire or tires were the issue or was it an alignment issue.  I guess I have to drive across town to see if another location is any better.  We have a corporate account and they were told this and still they couldn't call me to tell my vehicle was done. I told them to call my cell and not the home number on record and they couldn't even get that right.  This story isn't over though!  Corporate will be called! read more

All I wanted was a simple oil change. I even made an appointment the day before. I dropped it off at noon and called back at 2:00 because I had not heard anything. They said that they were waiting on a free bay, but pulling it in now and would be ready in a few minutes. I showed up 15 minutes later and it had still not been pulled in to be started on. So, even with an appointment I couldn't get my car an oil change in under 2 1/2 hours (plus the guy straight up lied to me) which is unacceptable. I took my money to Jiffy lube instead and was done in 15 minutes. This location might be good for tires, but they suck at basic service. read more

Great service and friendly helpful staff. This is the second time I've had to replace a tire I originally purchased from TireRack.com due to getting a flat (not because tires are bad) within the past 8 months. The tires are covered under a warranty and the guys here have to take the extra step to call and verify that it needs to be replaced so I get reimbursed. They were helpful with this process and had the tire I needed in stock. Friday evenings they get very busy, so I just came back Saturday morning and they had my tire ready. Installed it within 20 mins. read more
