Long time Firestone customer, this location is horrible. Had three new tires put on the rims by this Firestone. 9 days ago. What was suppose to be 90 mins of work had to wait almost 4 hours. When I got home with the new tires on the truck one of them went flat overnight the first night. Kept putting air in and until I was back down by that location again (9 days later) walked in and asked for them to look at it. Was told I had to remove the tire from the truck myself, and leave the tire with them since they could not "put me ahead of other customers" I guess a poor install from 9 days ago puts me to the back of the line, where it would take all of 15 mins to swap a valve stem.... Not only was the problem not addressed here, the person behind the desk had no real customer service mindset. Firestone sells good tires, most of my other experience with Firestone has been positive. But this location and its employees should be avoided. It's a bad representation of a good company. read more

Nico and his team are solid. We followed them here from their previous place nearer to home, but it's worth the extra distance for a mechanic we trust. Historically, when a place that won't be named pushed him and his team to resort to less than ethical business practices to boost profits (we all know the types) they walked instead. For that reason, we will continue sticking with them, and I recommend them to others. Treat the team well, and they will treat you (and your vehicle) well. Like other reviewers, I had an appointment, showed up on time and was told come back the next day. Over the phone, the reservation service had told me "it'll be fixed today." In the store, the technician told me that he couldn't get the part. I offered to get the part and told him he could waive the warranty. He refused to install it. Bottom line is, it was a Sunday and he didn't want to actually work, just get paid. Firestone should revoke his franchise. read more

I'm not from the area I buy my tires exclusively from fire stone, auto care near my home and just had service done yesterday. I have run over some thing and have a nut or a bolt some thing in the tire and it needs to be repaired or I need at least my spare tire put on and this fire stone auto care here in Cincinnati has no desire to help. Don't waste your time he told me he's at least three hours behind. I would say they need to get some better quality staff, but it appears that the management leaves a lot to be desired too. No wonder they are behind. You can't have a good help if you don't have a good management. read more

I took my 2010 Toyota Yaris here for an alignment on 11/11/22. My regular mechanic doesn't do alignments, so I figured I might as well just get a cheap one at Firestone. I was aware of the chain's bad reputation, but figured that since I knew exactly what I needed, they couldn't upsell me. Well, they told me my car was "not alignable" and that I would need to get $1,000 of repairs done. So I paid for the alignment check and took my car home. Later, I took it to a different mechanic, and lo and behold, my wheels were perfectly aligned a couple hours later. No other repairs needed. I called Firestone in Norwood, told them what had happened, and asked for a refund of the money I had paid for the alignment check. I was told there was "no way" they would do that, and they reiterated that I needed $1000 worth of repairs. Do not be fooled by their low advertised prices. They will rip you off. read more

Came home today to find my car with a completely flat tire. Not being from the area, I had no idea who to call or where to go for help. Luckily Firestone was nearby, so I called and they got me in within 15 minutes. When I arrived the staff was very helpful in explaining where the hole was in my tire and the different options available for me (repair or replace the tire). Within 45 minutes, they had replaced my tire for me and I was on the road again. They even stayed open later to make sure I could take my car home that same evening. I would definitely recommend Firestone to anyone nearby. Excellent service all around! read more

Recently I was in a car accident. I knew the roads were slick since it snowed that morning. I was at a traffic light and had to make a sharp left turn. I was not going slow enough and hit the curb. My alighnment was way off and the only way to drive straight is if the steering wheel is turned to the left. My husband recommended taking it to Firestone. Lately he's been having car problems and been taking it there. We dropped my car off early in the morning and I got my car the next day (afternoon). The manager called my husband to mention that I needed Ball joint, tie rod and an alignment. He was great with communication and getting back with him. My bill was expensive, but I am very confident that the job was done correctly. Plus I have a lifetime of free alignment since my parts were bought from there. Great customer service. read more

I tend to take my car here to get the full inspection for $23. Then, based on their recommendation and what's wrong, I get it fixed elsewhere because their prices are often too high for me and my 2007 sedan. The repairs would end up equaling more than the car's worth if I let them fix it. For example, I had an issue with my exhaust. Some of the clamps were broken and the exhaust was hanging because of this. Firestone was only authorized to change the whole exhaust for over $1000. However, one of the mechanics informed me that if I could find a shop that would be willing to weld the exhaust, I'd be able to save about $800. Another time, I was quoted about $160 to change spark plugs; which would have been fine if the plugs hadn't been overpriced at $31 a plug, instead of the $10 each that they cost at Autozone. I appreciate that the staff tends to be quite honest, though Firestone is overpriced. read more

These guys are the best! We showed up at 6:20 on a Friday evening from out of town with a tire that was going flat. We had to drop the kids off at the soccer tournament and run the van over to the shop in hopes that someone would still be around to help. These great people got our vehicle right in and patched the tire and we were off to the soccer game, all before 7:00. Wow what a great office and shop staff! Buyer beware classic bait and switch sales tactics. I was asked to be emailed a written quote but they said one could not be emailed. I wanted this to confirm out the door price. I asked for a quote for two vehicles, we had our first car serviced but will not be taking in our second car. I provided the tire and loading informationsize from the door of my car. Once they were servicing the vehicle, I was called and they said my car needed a different tire size. I was aparently quoted for a 17 inch tire despite providing the 18 inch size. This added to the cost. They said they could get tires and alignment done by 10:00am. They called at 9:50 to say alignment would take another 45 minutes. The car was left there the night before and I had discussed with the employee at drop off the work could be done in the morning. read more

I wish I could give this place zero stars because that's exactly what it deserves. I took my car into this shop a few months ago, dropped the keys off, they told me they'd give me a call when they found what was wrong. They gave me a call later that night, told me they could not get to it that day and it would take them until tomorrow. Finally in the evening they let me know it was fixed and ready to be picked up. 400$ I drove it one block only to realize absolutely nothing was fixed. Went back explained my car was still barely running. I asked them if they had even bothered to test drive the car to make sure they had fixed the problem. He lied to my face and said he had and the car was perfectly drivable and then started blaming other employees that had also worked on it. Regrettably, I gave him back the keys and told him that I need to problem fixed. Didn't hear from anyone the next day so I had to call them back before closing to see what was going on. They still had no idea, obviously they hadn't even looked at it. Next day, still no word had to call them. They said it was the oxygen sensor and they didn't have the part in and it would be done the following evening. It was and luckily that was the issue. I spent 800$ for an oxygen sensor. WHAT A COMPLETE RIP OFF. I would not even recommend this place for an oil change. They have no idea what they are doing and their customer service is absolutely outraging. Never in my life will I go to another firestone again and I will write on every social media page I can find so that everyone else knows what kind of service the Norwood, Ohio Firestone provides. read more

Bad experience here. What started off as a chatter in front end, ended up with a bill of $842. First front brakes, did a diagnostic engine analysis,$80. little PVC elbow leaking, replaced $48 for the elbow plus $30 labor. Next they said the intake manifold gasket was bad replaced $228. All this was done via trial and error. One hell of an engine analysts. Every time they called me it was something else. Final score Parts $296, Labor $465, shop supplies $25 ( what ever that is). I guess I have to give them 1 star to have this posted. Recommend to no one. read more

We took our daughter to Xavier for the fall semester and our low tire light came on. One of the tires looked low. Since we had about another 1200 miles to drive home we decided to have it looked at. We took it in after 1p and were concerned they could look at it before they closed as were were leaving first thing the next morning. They promised us they would not leave until it was done. Sure enough car was finished at 8:30p and they had three more left in the racks. The whole group we spoke with and talked to were extremely professional. Bait and switch. I made an appointment for an oil change. Instead of an oil change, they did an "inspection," claiming my battery was totally dead and that I had copper in my brake fluid. They also said my tire pressure was OK. My battery was not dead. I started the care 2 days earlier at -2 F. I checked the tire pressure and found 3 of 4 tires were 7 lbs low. I finally got out after 2 hours with the oil change. read more

I called Firestone midday on a beautiful Saturday and was told they were busy, but could fit me in for an oil change. Upon my arrival I noticed they were much more busy than I was told over the phone. My wait to be seen however was minimal. Was quoted an hour plus wait but was done and out in 35 minutes. The staff was extremely professional and friendly. They tried to sell me additional options, further inspections, was quite the relief when I declined and not pushed further. Absolutely Terrible. I recommend this place to no one. I took my jeep in for a radiator flush that the manager said was going to take 30-45 minutes. An hour and half later I get a call saying that I have two slits in my radiator hose and that my cap was busted as well. Funny how I was just working on my engine the day before and neither of these things had a problem. I said Ok to a new cap and asked how much a new hose would be. He quoted me 45 dollars. That's right 45 dollar for a new hose. I said no thank you and I would get one myself. This is the hose that I know was in good shape the day before. I waited another 45 minutes while they got the new cap and put it on. I paid and was on my way. When I got home I noticed my antifreeze was leaking and that instead of putting something to cover the gashes that they made, they decided to just leave them open and told me I was all set. So i went to autozone and got a new hose. $5.40 and it took me about 3 minutes to take the old one off and put the new one on. I also noticed that they didn't bother to clean out my reserve tank as it was all mucky and nasty. So basically I paid 125 dollars for a new cap, a now broken radiator hose, and a still dirty reserve tank. Thanks for nothing Firestone. DO NOT GO HERE read more
