I wish I could give it a worse rating. Several bad experiences. Very in considerate of your time. Made an appointment 4 weeks prior to be seen on my scheduled day off from work at 8am for an alignment and rotation. I sat there for 3 1/2 hours and my truck was never even looked at. Every time I asked about an update I was told I was next but they did three different cars before me. Why make appointments if you are not going to stand by that. The previous time that I had the tires installed I called to make an appointment to get new tires installed and I dropped it off at 8am again and it took them 2 days to get my tires installed. I was thoroughly disappointed in my experience at Tire discounters. They conduct business very much so contrary to their name. I am a young woman who walked in with a desperate need for my breaks to be changed and they quoted me $499.50 to change break pads! Thankfully I had connections that advised me as to what a inflated price that was. The next day I found a little shop off Alcoa call S.H.A automotive and they did the exact same job for $166.71. What saddens me the most is that the individual at the front desk said they were concerned about my safety in driving away with the job not completed. They said they wouldn't want anything to happen to me, yet they lacked concerned for the outrageous up charge on the service. Long story short, I will never use them for automotive services. I hope someone sees this and is encouraged to go to S.H.A automotive instead! read more

I just wouldn't recommend them if you are in any kind of hurry. It doesn't matter if you have an appointment or not, you will wait long enough to get mad, download yelp and figure out how to post a review. I just have a screw in my tire. I have been here for an hour and my car isn't back in the shop yet. I feel like they could use some help with scheduling to ensure they don't have a room full of unhappy guests. read more

4 hours to replace tires/oil change. Made an appointment over a week in advance (coming from out of town). Arrive early, guy says 2-3 hours. It took 4 hours and they damaged my wheels getting the old tires off. The "free" alignment isn't worth your time or the hassle or the potential damage to your vehicle. read more

Our experience with Tire Discounters was negative from the start and went downhill from there. For us it began with a poorly trained call coordinator who bungled scheduling, and gave us inaccurate information, followed by unexplained delays/loosing track of the car, and finally finding out that not all the repairs were done (though we were charged for them). Fortunately, for us the damaged tire did not fail until the car was parked, that said we were lucky it did not fail in the mountains. In short be safe, find another company to service your tires/repairs. read more

I had a nail in my tire. I called them and asked if they could take care of it on my way to work, they asked when I would arrive and I would be there within the next 10 minutes. They said they would work me in because they knew I was in a bad spot. I arrived within the time I given and the manager said he couldn't do anything for me because they had 3 customers arrive since I called and it would take about 3 hours to get around to me. I told him that is the reason I called and I wouldn't have stopped but they told me they could get it taken care of. He said if you leave your vehicle we can do it but I can't work you in unless you wait 3 hours. I stated again I am on my way to work I cannot leave my vehicle. Sorry it'll be 3 hours is all I got in response. As I walked out he said sorry, do you want some air? Nope, I want my tire fixed. I called discount tire they said they could take care of me and low and behold when I arrived they did what they said they would and got me on the road in less than 30 minutes and they had even more business happening than tire discounters. waited 90 minutes to get my "free" rotation after buying tires here and finally gave up. frustrated i walked out and made another "appointment" several weeks later. then gave them another shot. after waiting an hour AGAIN and seeing they didn't even have a single bay available AGAIN, i gave up. i will never return and ill pay someone to rotate my tires. yeah, im not mad, or at least not furious. but who ever owns this business just lost my business. ZERO STARS SHOULD BE AN OPTION HERE they call it an "apointment" for a reason. the ONE person at the counter was overloaded and it wasn't his fault. but still this is totally inexcusable. read more

Made an appointment for tire rotation & balance. They offered to come pick up my Vehicle and return it to me but I declined since I had to leave to go out of town as soon as they finished. I didn't have to wait long at all. I really like that they have a nice spacious waiting area with a monitor that shows all of the bays so you can see them working on your vehicle. They did a good job at a reasonable price. While I was waiting, I went to their website and found a $5.00 off code to use so I ended up getting an extra $5 off! I will definitely go back and highly recommend them. I was also impressed with how clean their bathrooms were. read more

Got new tires for my car in March, and received great service. With the purchase of new tires I received a free oil change. I forgot about that until I received an email reminder from Tire Discounters that my oil change was about to expire. So I called & made an appointment for today at 10am. It took them over 3 hrs!! I was also going to ask about getting my brakes done in a few weeks, but after waiting that long, I was ready to go, so I'll just get my brakes done elsewhere. What a wasted Saturday!! read more

I had an awesome experience with a very kind mechanic today. He was super helpful! I would definitely consider going back in the future.

This is literally based on the actions of one employee in particular, granted, the only one I dealt with, but I would hope he speaks for the entire crew, as well as a bit of research in prices. I drove in today, very sheepish with my request, as I had tweaked my back and couldn't really maneuver to get down and air my tires that needed it badly thanks to the change in weather we've had. When I pulled in, I found a great young guy by the name of Dakota, and explained to him what my issue was, and he said no problem whatsoever, with so much courtesy, I couldn't believe it. He directed me to the bay and got me aired up and ready to go almost like a pit crew member! I asked what I owed and he said no, refused a tip, kinda sucks if they're not allowed to accept them, they hopefully are... Really swell guy, I hope this is seen and he gets the the thumbs up he deserves! Thank you again, Dakota, you're awesome, my guy! read more
