Took Jeep to here to have 4 tires and the sensor check and replace the bad ones. I was asured this would be done. when I returned to pickup the jeep I was told they didnot have the sensors, and I had a bad tierod joint so they could not line the wheels. Terrible customer service and unknowledgeable staff. Spent $700 on 4 new tires and had to take back a week later after noticing a terrible jerk when braking. I was patronized and told that nothing was wrong with the car despite the obvious issue when braking. Talked to 3 separate people and all of them were clueless and absolutely useless. Took car in on Dec 23 to have a screw removed. The tire could not be repaired due to the location of the screw. Thus, a new set of tires was needed. The Maineville shop fit me in on Christmas Eve, very last minute. FInshed the job on time so I could have the car to attend family events Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!!! We're driving across country and noticed a flat tire this morning prior to getting back on the highway after a stop overnight with family that live in Morrow. The place was busy on a Saturday morning so we were thinking we had 2 hour delay to our trip with a 10 hr drive ahead of us. The front desk staff was really nice & got us right in to look at the flat tire. Turned out to be a simple 5 minute fix - bent valve stem. They didn't even charge us! Bad service. Lied to about how long replacing 2 trailer tires would take, dropped off the tires, called hours later to check- after the time they said it would be finished- job not started, called again an hour later and was told the job was in process so showed up to wait. Job was not in process until they saw my husband walk in. No apologies from them. Will not be back and will not refer anyone ever. read more

Fantastic service! Took my husband's 11 yr old car here for 4 new tires and an alignment. Never felt they were treating me different than their male customers (which unfortunately in 2012 still happens quite a bit at auto places). They gave me a list of possible tires for the car (4 choices) that showed how many miles the tires generally last and the cost. We reviewed it, made our decision and scheduled an appt for late that week. Love the tires, alignment is better than on my 1 yr old car, and they took the time to walk me through the warranty and service schedule etc. Had an appointment on a busy Friday there; was in and out in 1 hr & 10 min. Great service, their quick with most of the services. My car is treated with respect like it's their own. Their very detailed when I bring my car in for one thing but they inform me about future things which is nice! Free wifi, coffee and cable to watch if you wait. The employees here are very fair and honest and do a solid, dependable job. I usually take my "problem child" car to them and they have never let me down. I highly recommend them for those tough projects you may be avoiding or for routine tire and brake service you just don't want to do yourself. I brought in a 2007 Honda Odyssey for a simple replacement of 4 tires on Friday. I dropped the car off first thing in the morning when they opened, and I told them that I would pick it up by 4 or 5 PM when I got off of work. When I showed up at 4:45 PM to pick it up, the car had not even been started. At that point, I was told that it would be at least another hour. I am slow to complain so I let it slide and went home to come back and pick it up later. When I came back at 6:45 PM, they were still finishing up the paperwork. It was unreal! Today (Monday) my wife (who was without a car all day Friday with a 2.5 year old and a 6 month old) has to load up the kids to head back over there because the tire pressure gauge is going off telling her that the tire pressure is at dangerous levels. So she has to load up two kids, drive to the store, then unload and wait while they fix their mistake which was most likely due to the fact that it was a rushed job. $750 down the drain!! I have used Tire Discounters in the past and always had a wonderful experience, so I am disappointed in how things went this time around. UPDATE: I was immediately contacted by Tire Discounters and they resolved my issue quickly and effectively. I am hoping this was an isolated incident. While the initial service was not up to par, the customer service was fantastic. read more

I came one hour before closing time with a big bolt in my tire. I had just come from another competitive tire center where they told me they couldn't get me in until the next day. When I arrived to Tire Discounters, I heard them say two guys called in sick, so they were already short-staffed and had 4 cars in front of mine. The manager, John, without hesitation, said he'd fit my car in even though it wouldn't be until 9pm...two hours past closing time. He never even acted like it was a bother. He patched it up, called me when it was ready and sent me on my way with no charge. That is the type of service that will make me want to come back when I need new tires! I called to get a screw removed from my tire. The gentleman who was working the front desk was very helpful and allowed me to come in close to closing time to get the screw removed. The employees were all very nice and helpful. I would recommend this store to anyone with any tire problems or concerns. I was a very good customer of other tire discounters. Until I talked to employees there at the Maineville store and they told me they could fix my grandsons brakes. I paid $90.00 to have it towed there and the next day , I hadn t heard from them. So I called and they said it would cost about $700.00 to Fix, I said ok but then when I said to go ahead and fix it he said he didn t want to fix it, it was just to much wrong with it and the master cylinder was leaking. I don t understand how ,when it wasn t hooked up. I think the problem was I asked for all the old parts back to show what they did. Then I had to have it towed to my house and that cost $149. 95. I think that s a lot of money to paid out and not get anything done. A young man, a neighbor come over and helped my Grandson fix it in a few hours , because all the parts were there. the same parts that he had when it went to tire discounter. I think that is very sad when a un mechanic can fix it. I have done a lot of business with repair shops and have never had one refuse to work on a car. As long as they get there money. so I still dont understand them. I feel Like they owe me my money back for all the tows.. read more

The person who waited on me was fine. I took my car in for 4 tires and alignment. I dropped off my car in the morning and received a call when it was ready. The problems start when I returned to pick up my car. Grease was left all over the tires and wheels. There were 1 inch gouges in the black powder coat all over the lips of my wheels. They had scratched the inside the barrels of the wheels where they had "attempted" to remove the wheel weights. When bringing this to the attention of the person at the counter they had offered to send my wheels out for recoating. I was not willing to risk have them remove the tires and reinstall after "recoating" the wheels and damaging them further. I requested to have money taken off the tires which took talking to a regional manager to get done. As someone who worked as a mechanic I was not pleased with the lack of care taken with a customers vehicle. read more

I have been to the Tire Discounters in Maineville, Ohio many times and have always had good, courteous service with quality work. however this past time I was very disappointed. I had heard a new rattle in the front of my car, and it seemed to have no give to it when I would hit a rough spot in the road. It seemed to me like the shocks/struts needed to be replaced. When I dropped it off I told them how it sounded and told them that I felt it may be the shocks/struts or springs. I asked them to check it out and if something seemed broken to fix it. But if was not broken not to replace it. They called me after checking it out and told me that it was recommended to replace the shocks/struts every 55,000 miles. I asked them if they looked broken- and again said if they are broken change them but if they are not then don't. After keeping my car from 8am until 3pm I called them back and asked if it was finished. They said oh, yeah. All we did was rotate the tires... which I had asked them to do. I asked them if the shocks/struts seemed ok. They said on a visual they did. But that to actually check them that would have to take things off to look at them but they did not do that, even though I had asked them to. When I got there to pick up the car I asked them if the springs, UV joints and CV joints looked OK . I was told that everything looked ok. It still did not sound ok. So I promptly called the dealership and made an appointment and took it in the next day. After about an hour of when I dropped it off I got a call stating that the shocks/struts were fine but that I had a left front spring that completely broken in two. They said that they had seen it as soon as they put up in the air and looked underneath. I was very upset to learn that apparently Tire Discounters did not even take the time to look at it as I had asked them to do. I'm not certain that I would go back. They did not seem to do as I had asked to even look at it. read more
