    Bought my tires at Terhune tire discounters supposedly they're going to rotate tires for free made…read morean appointment. Took my car there waited for it to be done. About 30 minutes. And when I got home realized that they didn't rotate them. Wanted to sell me new tires. Because of the tread depth. But I didn't take it there for new tires just rotate back to front. I was asked before I left what time I needed my car back by and I told them 3 PM because I daughter up from school. I came back at 2:45 expecting my car to be ready within 15 minutes. I was told that they just got my car in and they would get it done as soon as possible. I reminded her that I had to pick my daughter up from school at a certain time that that's why I told them it needed to be completed by 3 PM and that there was no one else to pick her up from school. She then proceeds to tell me that they'll get them done as soon as they can and can bring it back in for the alignment that they would give me a certificate for it. So they rushed and had my car done in 25 minutes. Hopefully the job was good but I don't know because it was done so quickly even though my car been sitting there for an hour and a half with an appointment. This situation caused me major stress as my daughter is special needs and being left at school with no one to pick her up can cause complications for her. There's no need to make an appointment because they will not honor the appointment and they don't care if it causes you any inconvenience at all.

    I went to Midas because my car wasn't blowing hot air. I trusted them to diagnose and fix the…read moreissue, but instead, I walked out $500 lighter and still without heat. When I arrived, Miguel told me my thermostat was sticking and needed to be replaced. He quoted me $500, which included labor, the part, and a full coolant replacement (which alone was about $100). They offered me a $75 coupon, and I agreed. After waiting 4.5 hours, Miguel came back and told me that even after replacing the thermostat, my car still wasn't blowing hot air. Now, he said I needed a blend door actuator, which would cost another $500. At this point, they were closing, and I was exhausted. I told them to put my car back together so I could figure out my next steps. I didn't even get my receipt when I left. I called the next day to ask for it to be emailed to me--nothing. I called again the following day before they finally sent it. That's when I saw that the thermostat itself was only $34.99, but they charged me $363.99 for labor. At this point, I felt frustrated and taken advantage of. I had paid almost $500, and my car still had the same issue. So, I called and asked if, since they misdiagnosed the issue, they would at least install the correct part without charging me labor again. Brandon, the manager, told me they couldn't give me a break on labor, but he could try to discount the part. I found the part online for $44, yet he told me their price was $199. When I asked if he could meet me halfway, he told me, "We never guarantee the best price on parts." I explained that this wasn't about the price of the part--it was about the fact that I had already paid for a repair that didn't fix my issue. His response? He "couldn't take food off his workers' table." But that's exactly what happened to me. And what really stuck with me was what I observed while waiting 4.5 hours for my car--every single customer had a "secondary" issue pop up after their car was taken apart. It made me wonder: was I just unlucky, or is this a common pattern? At this point, I no longer feel comfortable trusting them with my car. If they misdiagnosed it once, what's stopping them from misdiagnosing it again? I asked Brandon for a partial refund, and he said he'd speak to corporate and get back to me on Tuesday. I want to be fair--no one was rude to me, and the customer service itself was fine. But I can't ignore the fact that I paid almost $500 for a repair that didn't fix my problem. That's not right, and I hope Midas will do the right thing by offering me a refund for the misdiagnosis. I'll update this review on Tuesday once I hear back from corporate. I really hope they make this right.

All the bad reviews I should have read these first before I ordered 4 tires and an installation on 7/25. scheduled the appointment for 8/2 at 7AM. I really need new tires was so excited to get these put on and it's a price i can afford. So, on 8/2 morning of my scheduled appointment, when I am literally leaving my house for the appointment, I live right down the road, I received a text at 640AM that my appointment was cancelled, and I needed to reschedule since they are still waiting on 1 tire to come in. The APP is ZERO help, all I can do is cancel the appointment, which I don't want to do, I want to find out when the tire will be in and reschedule the appointment, so I have been trying to get ahold of someone in that department for the last 7 days to help me figure out what is going on and as of Today 8/9 still no new tires on my car, and there is still NO update on the app and or from this department, today still when I call the line is just ringing busy all day, I wonder if they have someone else on eternal hold. out of the 15 times I have called in the last week I'm on call at work or I would have called more, only 2 times has someone actually answered that I have called in the past week, when they answered, they would immediately on the first ring, answer and say, please hold. placed me on hold as I'm saying sure and then never come back, I stayed for 15 minutes hung up called back and no one ever answered in this department again that day and I called back the next day and I would keep getting the lady in the fitting room. the next tday i called they answered I was immediately put on hold, she came back after 10 minutes and I asked if there was a manager available, she says there is no manager available, I asked for her name, she just kept saying this is Walmart automotive, refusing to give her name then she hung up on me as I asked a third time for her name. I called back after she hung up and go figure now, NO ONE will answer the phone in the automotive department. so, I let ring to the fitting room lady again and clearly, she is no help either, not her fault but none the less this is a terrible way to do business. so, I asked for customer service , she sends me to customer service, the lady answers and I tell her I need a manager in automotive since no one will help me that is answering the phones, I told her I didn't want to be sent back over to that department, I asked if she would just pass along my information to a manager in automotive and have them call and help me, she took my information and actually said that corporate was in that day and would pass along the information to them, STILL NO ONE HAS CONTACT ME or will answer the phone in automotive department. What an AWFUL way to treat paying customers. They should be ashamed.
