I want to give a good review, but the first time I met this store, I gave my name and info and was greeted with, "we won't be able to honor your tire warranty because you didn't get your tires rotated enough"...I wasn't even there about getting tires replaced and then they were too busy to let me stay. The next issue was after I had a different car and I went for my free oil change after buying 4 new top dollar tires and they said I needed a new battery for $400 and new brake PADS for $400, not roters, but pads! The girl was trying to show me this great deal they had for all of that to get done. I said No thank you, I'll buy my battery elsewhere if needed and get pads somewhere else too! Nubrakes ended up coming to my home and I got pads AND ROTERS for less than $300! Valvoline had a very nice coupon for Nubrakes, both of which I highly recommend! My next time there was for an oil change and to rotate and balance my tires. Thank our good Lord, my sister's car wouldn't start and when jumping her off, we raised the hood of my car only to find my engine fluid tank was BONE DRY and all my fluids were never filled, looked at, nothing! They had given me paper work saying they did it all! So, if you go to them, double- check their work, they knew I drive 25 miles to work and 25 miles back every single day, and didn't care that they let me leave believing all of it was checked and filled and ready to take on the interstate at high speed back and forth every day! When I called and let them know, it was like pulling teeth to get anyone to care! I explained that I put my trust in them to do the work, I paid them, I had paperwork saying the work was done, and I asked what would happen if my engine needed fluid and my tank was bone dry? He said they would not be able to add fluid without running tests to see if something was leaking, etc., I said well what would I have done if I'm on the side of the road running hot like that? He said, "oh, you could just fill it with engine fluid"...oh, so I can fill it, but he can't? I don't carry engine fluid with me, do you? He was talking out of both sides of his mouth and all I wanted was an apology and my money back of which he said, "oh no, we can't give your money back!"...of course they can't! But, I can warn all of you to double check the work, hold them accountable, sloppy work isn't okay and will not become my norm and it shouldn't be okay with you or their owner, or regional manager, or CEO! I am easy to please, just do the work I paid for, and if you screw up, admit it and apologize! If you want to keep business, make it right for people! You can give their money back, you can give them a coupon for a free oil change next time or a percentage off, or a sincere apology, and then wow them with good customer service and good quality work! Isn't that what you promise as your companies' motto? Maybe you don' t know it? HERE YOU GO: Here is your words, your motto, not mine! So I got completely screwed with my appointment at a competitor's shop which led me to being a walk-in over here in the early a.m. , just needed to get the new tires I already had w me installed. Shawn was kind enough to just double check the stickers were still on and date of tires are good, and told me they'd squeeze me in. I did have to pay a bit more for their install cost vs another shop but it's well worth it to me considering the excellent customer service I got from every aspect including calling in, stopping by and my couple hours hanging out inside with other customers. Brenton and Shawn are very friendly and clearly know how to provide great customer service. Have been a customer at this location for over 3 years since we moved to Wilson County. Had an appointment on Friday 6/20 for tires, oil change and alignment, dropped the vehicle off at 6am and put the key in the drop box. Came back at 3pm to pick it up and it was in the same spot. After telling the man at the desk that I was there to pick up my vehicle, he couldn't find my ticket and walked over to the drop box to pull my key out. He came back in and said the key wasn't there when he checked that morning, I stated that I had dropped it off at 6am and he then said he must have missed it. He didn't apologize until I asked for me key and said I would take it someplace else. Five stars for a chain tire store? Yup. The tire light in my wife's car has been on for a few weeks and we finally figured that there was a screw in the tread. We headed to Tire Discounters and they were packed! They told me they were trying a new reservation service. Basically, you're supposed to book online, drop off your car and get a call later for pickup. Things weren't going as planned hence the long lines. I was told they could still fit me in, but my car wouldn't be done for a few hours. No sweat. I got call later that afternoon that my tire was fixed and there was no charge! Turns out they could patch the tire and (bonus) they also looked up my past history, apparently the tires are still under warranty and would have been free anyway. Honest customer service goes along way with me and I'll be coming back with any tire needs! read more

I will give this place one star simply because the manager tried to do some damage control. I scheduled an appointment with them on a Thursday afternoon and ordered tires that were in my budget. I then called and spoke with someone to confirm my appointment and the cost of tires. My appointment was on the following Tuesday because I know the difficulty and time it takes to do these tasks. So I planned ahead. I took a day off from work dropped my car off and walked about a half of a mile back home. I could see my car sitting in the same spot when I would look my car up on maps. I called the shop approximately 6 times throughout the day with no answer. I went back to pick my car up at 5:50pm because they close at 6pm. My car was still on the lift and I watched as the manager proceeded to take the tires off my car. I stopped them. Because my car had been there since 8 am then tell me I will be waiting for about 40 minutes. I said no put my tires back together and let me have my car. He did but took his sweet time until I came to the door of the garage. Because when I wasn't standing there where he could see me he was on his phone. He apologized for the inconvenience and proceeded to say he had no idea that my car was there all day for tires. Excuse me? You are going to announce you're the manager of the store and say something like that?? What kind of manager doesn't know when a car is on their lot since they got to work and it is still there and time to close. Then, before he gave me my keys to my car he proceeded to tell me what all is wrong with my tires. Again, this is the manger and he must not have known why I brought my car to sit in their parking lot for 10 hours. This is a tire place I brought my car for all four tires to be replaced but they didn't have my tires in stock and was going to cost a thousand dollars because I had to go with what tires they had in stock. I found this out at noon when they were about to start on my car. So I said I only need two and I will get the other two later. Because these were pricey. Needless to say for two tires it was going to cost $621. I went to Firestone here in Mt. Juliet and paid $347 for two tires! Yes!! I'm so glad these young underpaid know it all managers that love their title don't know what is going on because it saves me $300. They did right by screwing up my entire day. If you need tires go somewhere else or Firestone for half the price! They will have you out the door in no time at all. I worked all day today went to Firestone came home in time to make dinner!! I had two of my friends going to Tire Discounters because I thought I was getting a good deal. But they have appointments at Firestone now. Lol. read more

My girlfriend took my truck in for tires. My truck had no symptoms of any steering or alignment problems. It cost around $1,600. They called and told me I needed some steering parts replaced and they quoted me almost another $1,600. My truck is about 12 years old and close to 200k in mileage so it seems reasonable to me but I explained that I can't afford that right after spending $1,600 on tires. They priced match for us, which was nice so we didn't have to go farther out to get the deal we saw online. However, they told us to come in at 12pm to put the new tires on our truck. We got there at 12pm, was told it would be an hour & half, so we walked around the shopping area & got lunch. After 2 hours we walked back over to find our truck hadn't even been touched. They said they were backed up & were super busy. Absolutely unacceptable. It's fine to be busy & to be behind, but to not communicate that to your client is lazy. You're already 2 hours behind, you have the clients standing right there, & you think now is a good time to walk over to your friends to show them a funny keychain? I had to make appointment and wait three days to fix a leaky tire. I purchased my tires from them I expected better. I expected to be worked in but since this is my daily driver. I was wrong!! I asked to have my tires rotated and balanced. I got lip service they did not rotate or balance my tires!! Every tire had a different tire pressure!! This is ridicules!! Called and asked the price of an oil change. Was quoted $59.00. So I made an appointment. Brought the car in and waited while they ordered an oil filter as they did not have one in stock. When checking out they gave me a bill for $120.00! I asked why so high and they said the oil filter was $67.00. They also added $9.99 for shop supplies. They didn't mention the price of the oil filter when I booked the appointment or when I brought the car in. It never came up until I went to pay. I have since looked up the price of the oil filter. Most auto parts stores have them for between $10-$15. BMW sells them for $24. $67 is just a greedy shop taking advantage. Next time, go two doors down to Discount Tire. read more

By far the best experience I've ever had getting tires on the vehicle! Joe and the rest staff here are absolutely amazing and make you feel appreciated. The communication they give you throughout the process is second to none. I felt like I gave my card to one of my best friends to put tires on. Free waters and snacks in the waiting room which is equipped with cameras throughout the entire place so you can see your car in the mechanics working on it at all times. And the knowledge they possess and pass on to you is outstanding. They checked out everything else to see if there might be some other concerns they could address for me and gave me an honest rundown of everything on my vehicle. I had a flat tire on the passenger front. Drove in to this place only because it was close. I was told I needed a new tire and also a new tire on the back one. That is what I agreed on. 2 hours later he said there was a problem with the lugs on the rear tire and they could get them off. They replaced the 2 front tires and never took care of the rear one. I had to bring the car back the next day and then leave it over the weekend because of the lug. On Monday it was taken care of and when I went to get car I was presented with a bill for the lug"problem" which I didn't have when I went in there. Today The back tire which I thought they had replaced went flat and I went some other place to take care of the problem. I feel I was screwed over because I am a 80 year old women and they thought I would notice. How wrong they are. I have filed a complaint with the corporate head office. I used your skip the shop service for your Mount Juliet location 2 weeks ago for an oil change, tire rotation and alignment. That location is the only service center that has ever serviced my VW Passat since I bought it late December 2021. The day I bought it I had them change the oil, do an inspection and mount and balance 4 new tires. I also had it service at your Mount Juliet location in the spring of this year. Never an issue to date until July 20th. The driver picked up my car, no lights, no issues, just ready for service. He brought the car back to my house after the service and told me the Oil Pressure/ Turn Engine off light came on on his way back to my house. I contacted the driver late Wednesday on his cell he called me from since your shop was closed. Before 9:00am the next morning they called me and sent a rollback to my house to pickup the car since it shouldn't be driven in that state in fear of blowing the engine. For whatever reason, I was told on follow up later that day that they changed the oil again and thought maybe it was an oil pressure switch or oil sending unit. They indicated they were changing those at no charge to me and the parts would be in Monday the 25th. I then had to rent a car due to the fact that my wife needed her car which I had been driving since Wednesday the 20th. Upon checking with Darin on Monday, he said that replacing the sensors didn't help and they had video evidence of them putting oil in the car but would not make it available to see. Was that video evidence the first time or just to cover up the fact that they didn't put oil in it?I questioned that and was then told by Darin that I should come pickup the car but he wouldn't drive it. I couldn't understand because I now had a potentially serious issue they caused. Late Monday I was forced to have it towed away at my expense and had it taken to Euro Fix Nashville. I explained to the advisor Heather Peek at Euro Fix what had taken place. She had it looked at Tuesday morning and upon doing a diagnostic test found that in the oil filter housing cover there was a missing oil pressure sensor that fell out or was broken off when the oil was changed, triggering the warning light. This was never an issue before and again, the Mount Juliet Tire Discounters is the only facility to ever change the oil or service the vehicle since I bought it. I called Darin at Tire Discounters to let him know the diagnosis and he was dismissive. He said bring the receipt and he would give it to his boss Chris, the district Manager. Euro Fix ordered the part and fixed it and cleared the codes. I picked up the car on Wednesday the 27th from Euro Fix. I was charged just over $98 for Tire Discounters service. I have a bill for $121.41 for a rental car I paid. I have a bill for $469.24 for the tow, diagnostic and repair at Eurofix which I paid. I took the old broken part to Darin last Friday July 29th at Tire Discounters in Mount Juliet as well as the receipts. He said all communication would have to go through Chris and he would provide them to him and he would be calling. No call, no response. On Tuesday I tried to reach Corporate Headquarters with no luck. I sent an email to Jason, the District Manager and finally Tuesday evening I got a call from Rodrick. He said they were denying the claim. You clearly take no responsibility. Your service center directly caused the issue with my car. My $98 service has left me with almost $700 in bills. I simply want to be reimbursed. According to the other reviews I've recently read about your Mount Juliet location, you are in the business of screwing people over so I guess I'm just one of many victims. You may be familiar with the Consumer Protection Act. It's a safeguard for purchasers of goods and services against defective products and deceptive and fraudulent business practices. We will see what the TN Attorney General's Office and the Better Business Bureau think of the formal complaint I'm filing against your company. read more

Update: They replied below... they have NOT addressed my concerns but rather continue to avoid me. The guy actually refuses to answer calls, texts, and emails! When they damage your car in their care, they will basically try to ignore you and hope you eventually give up. When you don't, they half-heartedly pretend to care. They provide a service where they pick up your car and return it after completing tire change. We noticed same day on return (June 25) there was new damage on our bumper after it took 2 full days to do a tire change that was scheduled. The bumper was replaced and newly painted 2 years back with zero damage or scratches. We contacted same day. Shared pictures of what appeared to be someone having backed firmly into a bush. Confirmed at the store they back all the cars up to bushes at the same height. This was 4 months ago. Instead of handling it at the store level, they escalated it to a regional guy who would delay communications for weeks on end and basically slow played their response. Finally, after lots of persistence, and pics showing we have no bushes to back into and we don't back into spots, they agreed to get it take care of the repair in early August. After getting quotes, I continued to get slow played and finally get a call to say that they changed their mind and would no longer be taking care of the repair and that I would need to go through my own insurance to see if they could investigate and prove they were at fault (they were, they knew it by agreeing initially, and then basically said "prove it"). Presumably, they probably didn't like the fact that the lowest quote I got was over $500 (the others over $700). The same guy who was handling this has basically quit responding to emails and texts to his own phone for a month now, and was extremely difficult to reach and hear back for weeks on end these past 4 months. read more

I made an appointment to get new tires. Had already gotten an estimate, so I confirmed with the lady on the phone what car, what size tire and all. She says they only have 2 in stock, so they'll have to order them. No problem. So I go to drop my car off, & they don't have any of my info saved, including the tire size, make and model or anything. "We have to order the tires, so it'll be another hour and a half for them to get here from the downtown warehouse." They offer to let me take my car and they'll call me when the tires get there and they'll get me right in. The gentleman I take care of and I go have lunch and do some shopping. Two hours go by, and we still haven't gotten the call that the tires are in. "I was just about to call you" the manager says as I walk in (yeah right). He tells me that it'll be a couple of hours, and that he'll call me when the car is done. So we walk over to Target, Dick's, Old Navy, Ross, Homegoods, and finally have some coffee at Books A Million. It's been over 2 hours at this point, still no call, and it's starting to rain. We walk from BAM back to Tire Discounters, and my car is sitting out front. I go in to pay, no apology for not calling, or all the waiting we had to do. My appointment was at noon. Got better tires with a better warranty free alignment because I bought 4 tires, and the lifetime rotation and balance is also free!!! I hate to tell people that these guys did a great job. Cause then next time I go, they will be even busier... ;) But they did great. I bought some tires from NTB this summer. The car was vibrating at interstate speed. Turns out NTB does not give a re-do on their balancing. :\ They quoted $50 to re-do. I purchased tires for another car from TD not too long ago and figured if I was going to pay someone, it would be TD. Turns out, they balanced my NTB tires for NO CHARGE. I went ahead and had them do an alignment. During that work, they saw that my rotors were getting thin. They did not push me to have them put new rotors on, but suggested that it should be done soon. Came in and waited while many men stood in the bay area around each other not acknowledging me or working. Then someone finally came to help us. Took the flat tire that we already removed to see what the prob was. Said it was a valve stem. Told them to fix it and rotate the tires. When asked how long, I was told they had a full set in front of me that it will take 2hrs even though no one else is there and workers r standing around! And one vehicle was in the bay! Came back at an hr and a hlf later! No vehicles in the bay & mine never moved! Men still standing around doing nothing! Had to open the window to talk to them. Said thy had not gotten to it! Thy were told to fix the tire and i will put it on. Even though the whole purpose of them doing the work is there is no charge to replace, fix, and rotate if bought from there... but they did less then a quarter of the work they cover! Replacing the valve stem with one twice as long as the others... -Talked to 2 other peps in lobby that have been waiting for 3hrs while men just stand around N do nothing! -Man walks in to get service, says they were like that before. The piece I needed only cost $15, and they gave a free tire rotation since they had taken them off for the inspection. I stopped in today to have my tire pressure checked. I pulled infront of the bay they usually have me pull up to and was greeted by the manager. I believe his name was either Mike or Michael. Anyway, he for starters tells me where I am is not a parking spot and I felt he was being a bit snarky in his tone. I get it...he is in sales but I have warranty type plans thru BMW and my tires are perfectly fine for well more than the month he told me. They wont let me go below a certain tread and they keep my car well maintained. I just lost faith in Tire Discounters. The way he spoke to me and him trying to convince me I need tires when I dont is unacceptable. I let him finish with the air check and telling me not to drive fast on my tires....then was on my way. This is the story all about how Tire Discounters almost cost my husband his life and now refuses to accept liability for it, via a screaming regional manager. I believe it all began on Friday December 2nd, 2016. My husband's 2007 VW Jetta was losing a little air in the passenger front tire. Before we went to work that morning we dropped the car off and told them there was a slow leak in the tire but it hadn't been going flat, but we had to go to work down the street. Just to call us when it was complete. They called roughly two hours later. Much to our surprise, my husbands parents stopped through town that morning, and when we went to go pick up the car, his parents had already paid for it. So we made the drive from Mount Juliet to Murfreesboro, where we discovered that the tire had gone completely flat by the time we got into our driveway. When I called the store, they immediately tried to discredit what I was saying and not accept liability. The managers exact words were "he probably picked up ANOTHER nail." (Surprise, surprise, there was NEVER a nail in the tire to begin with.) So, we took the tire off that night, and brought it back to the store again the next day. Now here is where the real fun begins. On December 3rd, 2016, I was standing in the lobby of the Mount Juliet Tire Discounters while the employees all but ignored me. No "good morning, we will be right with you." Not a word. Finally once I was acknowledged I told them what had happened. They took the tire and I left for work. Again, a couple hours later they called me. After work I went to pick up the tire, got it home and put it on the car. We drove it around the block just to make sure it was holding air. All seemed well so we went to bed. At 5:10AM on Sunday morning, my husband went outside, checked his tire pressure. All was well and he left for work. 5:20AM on Sunday morning, I receive a call from my hysterical husband. He had made it barely 10 minutes away from our house, gotten up to speed on the interstate (70-75mph), and the same tire that was supposed to have been fixed two days in a row, blew out. Causing him to slide onto the shoulder of interstate 840, narrowly missing slamming into a concrete wall. There was no more than four inches between the front of his car and the wall when I arrived in my Jeep. So, we sat and waited for a tow truck to bring it to Firestone in Smyrna (who were amazing, by the way.) They were the only ones open on a Sunday and we needed it fixed immediately. Not to mention, after all of this Tire Discounters will touch another car of mine over my dead body. Later on Sunday afternoon, Randy at Firestone called us. $315 to fix what should have been a $80 fix, had it been done right in the first place. We now had to replace the tire, the rim, the alignment had to be redone, it was a mess. For those who are curious, the tires that were on the car before this whole fiasco were fairly new. They had been replaced about a year ago and has very few miles on them, because up until July the car wasn't driven more than a few miles a day. That night I filed a complaint through the Tire Discounters webpage. I received a call from a man named Sean who was with corporate, on Monday morning. He instructed me to send him the invoice from Firestone. I sent it over that night. Fast forward two weeks. I hadn't heard anything from anyone in regards to the situation since my last correspondence with Sean that Monday. I gave him a call. When he didn't answer I left a voicemail, to which I again received no response. Fast forward again to today, January 5th, 2017. I had still not heard anything from anyone so I gave Sean a call. He informed me that apparently the regional manager had been trying to contact me. They need to see the tire. I had never received an email or a call. But I sure received a call from him not five minutes after hanging up with Sean. Mr. Regional Manager apparently is going to be in Brentwood today. He asked me if I had the tire, to which I replied "what's left of it." I explained what had happened. That the tire didn't shred like a normal blow out. That the middle section had literally been carved out by the rim and flew off. To which he replied that since the tire hadn't gone completely flat over night, my husband must have hit something and that's what caused the tire to blow. Quite a coincidence, don't you think? After trying to explain to him the magnitude of the situation and that people have died in crashes like the one my husband narrowly avoided, I could tell he was becoming agitated with me, as I was with him. He began to raise his voice at me. When I began to get emotional, my mother took the phone from me and tried speaking with him. He repeatedly interrupted my mother when she was speaking, began shouting at her and refused to give the info for his supervisor. Because "we don't have what's left of the tire. The staff at Mt Juliet Tire Discounters are the most cheerful, helpful people I have encountered in a long time. It's the first place we go when we have any problem with our tires. Thank you. And such a handy location. While I was there a family traveling on vacation came by with car trouble. No problem. TD got their car right in and started working and the family could walk next door and enjoy a lovely dinner at one of the many nearby restaurants and return to find their car fixed and ready for them. Did the job well, overall. Although I like my tires inflated to 35 PSI cold, and I usually remind the tech of this, I forgot to do so this past visit. The tires were inflated in a range 32.5-33.5 cold (1 @ 32.5, 1 @ 33, 2 @ 33.5). I'm a former tire guy (a long, long time ago), so I tend to be a little OCD in getting all 4 tires to an exact number. Again, I forget to tell them a specific PSI, so I own this one. read more

First time here, place is very clean. Staff seemed to be friendly and courteous. Sitting room is nice with TVs for viewing and has a couple of laptop tables as well. They also have a small kids table with their own tv showing cartoons which is nice. Coffee and water are free. Not sure about wait time, sure it varies on work done and how many customers are ahead of you. They had mine in within 10 mins. read more

Only because I have to give it a star in order to give a review. Zero knowledge of products, minimal knowledge of how to handle products on vehicles then steps back and says not our fault sorry we destroyed your product. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Do not take the cheap way out go to your dealership at least they will cover any mistakes that they make and try to fix them instead of giving the runaround and then saying not our problem. like i said they didnt even try and fix the issue they only wanted to give me an oil change which i do myself in 15 minutes with 17mm wrench and hand turn the oil filter! DO THE OPPOSITE OF NIKE AND JUST DON'T DO IT! lol i hope they lose business cause this is the future take care of people who take care of you! read more
