I appreciate how I was treated by staff and impressed with the work done on my car. My car handles better than it did when I bought it (used). I suspected a worse repair needed more than just tires. They could've taken advantage of that, but they didn't. Also, they were stacked with customers and still able to squeeze me in. Most of the time (like most people) I don't bother with a good review, but when the service is great it's worth the extra effort. Well done, guys. read more

Firestone got caught lying to me about the condition of my wheel cylinders. They tried to pressure me into replacing them on the spot and even went as far as to mention the issue if I don't replace them that I run the risk of my breaks just going out with how bad they were leaking and how bad the corrosion was. It sounded pushy and I decided to take my car to two other shops. Both shops found no leaking or issues with my wheel cylinders and didn't know why Firestone said otherwise. When I called back to get Firestone to send over the estimate with the notes on how bad my wheel cylinders were, he refused stating it was against company policy. He then backtracked on what the severity was. When I recalled to him our prior conversation, he said the "technician" mentioned what would happen if I didn't replace them, that he never said the parts were already heavily corroded. We disagreed about the rendition, and I then reminded him of how he told me it wasn't safe to even be driving it back to my home because you never know when the parts would fail and my breaks go out... I then called him out and told him I had multiple shops take a look and found nothing wrong with it. That Firestone was engaging in dishonest and malicious practices. That I had called back the day I brought my car in to inform them that I'd hold off on the work until I could get the funds together to pay for it.(because I would get a second opinion first, the situation didn't feel right) The person on the phone then tried to sell me on a 0interest Firestone credit card... In order to get anything in writing about the way my wheel cylinders conditions are, I'd have to had done it while my car was at the shop. I proceeded to tell him "Great, so if I bring it in tomorrow you can check the wheel cylinders and you should be able to give me the exact same diagnosis as the first time right?" He said yes. But too bad, they didn't have any openings up. I asked to speak to another manager or get his superiors information. He proceeded to get upset and hung up on me. Do not go here for work. The Shop in Hendersonville is honest and better priced. Hendersonville tire store is also honest and fair prices. I'm sure you could find so many better options who arnt looking to steal and Rob clients. read more

Don't go here even with appointment. They have no concept of what an appointment is or how to keep it. You are first come first served regardless. Had 7:30 am appt for alignment. Left at 9 am without service being performed. They could not even estimate how much longer it would be. Other customers had been there since 7 without satisfaction or took over 3.5 hrs tobfet tires rotated and balanced. It's sad as their lifetime alignment contracts are a value in price, but only acceptable at "factory" stores, so good luck!! read more

I would not recommend this FireStone location. Poor service. Went in for a scheduled oil change, alignment, Tire rotation/balance. Once I drove off I noticed my car was not aligned correctly. My steering wheel had to be turned at a 1-2 degree turn in order for it to steer straight. I immediately called the store to inform them and was told I would need to come back the in the morning to get it corrected, Instead of just coming back same day for adjustments. When I arrived the next day, I was told there wasn't anything they could do and that nothing was wrong with my vehicles alignment even without diagnostics. I left the store heated!!!!.....Ended up going to a firestone a mile down the road, told them my problem and they were able to resolve my issue in 30 mins or less. I'll never return to this location. So others don't make the same mistake I did... Do not go to the Firestone (Bridgestone) in Goodlettsville. Awful service. Incompetent service. I waited an hour and 15 minutes after my appointment to even get my car into the bay. Once it was done (weirdly fast), I started driving it and immediately noticed it was shaky and the tire pressure light came on. Cue the u-turn and right back over. Come to find out, they didn't pressure the tires correctly (they initially tried to say it was possibly a bad sensor without even looking). My mistake was thinking they'd do a balance with the rotation and alignment. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like a question they ask- if you're anything like me, you rely on the "experts" to know what questions to ask. Told me they wouldn't balance the tires til Monday or Tuesday even though I'd just been there 5 minutes prior. Finally- my hub cap FLEW OFF while I was driving home. TLDR; Avoid Goodlettsville Firestone. Incompetent, poor service. read more

First of all, not all Firestone Complete Auto Care locations are created equal. Remember this! I went to the first location (which I wont name because they're okay, but it wasn't great!) which is more convenient for me, and they quoted me a $2700 dollar job (labor and parts) for new brake pads & rotors (front & back), two bearings and seals (front left and back right), new tires, and the labor to go along w/ it. Some people might look at that and think that it's not bad, but it was. I asked the guy on the phone at the 1st location what I could get away with that day - and he said you MUST get new tires. So I did. It was what I expected, approximately $450.00 for all four mid-level tires (the cheapest ones wouldn't have lasted long since I do drive quite a bit. Throughout all this, I was juggling trips back and forth between Atlanta (I'm an actor) and had auditions and call backs and luckily was borrowing a car. However, I didn't have the money for this whatsoever! One week after that quote and new tires later, I call Enterprise, they talk me through it and told me to bring my car to Rivergate Firestone. I thought, 'that's 30 minutes from me!' and I don't have a car! I went, had to rely on other people to get me to and from there (bless them, I hate asking for help), but in the end I am glad that I did because Kody took care of my car, spoke with the representative at Enterprise to help me out (tremendously!) and talked to him about what really needed to be done. I got the call from Kody that I was only to pay a fraction of the cost for the entire job, and that Enterprise representative Matt Carnes was going to help with the bearings and seals. I cried. Legits - CRIED. But wait, I'm not done! I DID have to go back to the Rivergate Firestone because my new brakes were making mysterious noises (hence the 4 stars) - not normal new brake noises - but noises just happening when I was driving along at residential speeds. So I drove 30 minutes back out there before leaving for Atlanta, afraid of more repairs but generally okay with it, and they 'fixed' the clips that were making the high pitched metallic sound. It still made noise after that, but eventually stopped. Amen. All-in-all - I am VERY grateful for Kody and Matt. I have a 97 Lexus LX450 AWD. I was quoted several places $500, not unreasonable. Firestone said $450-500 on the phone. Then they have my car and I missed their call and lost the Saturday. Then Sunday when I need my car back I call first thing when they open. They didn't get back to me for an 45min- 1 hour and I called 2x starting at 8 when they opened. They wanted to charge me then $681 that is almost $200 more than I was expecting!! I tried to get them to honor their quote but I needed my car back and everywhere was closed because it's Sunday so I said just do it, knowing I'm being ripped off. Then the idiots left the hood open and I find out driving 70MPH on the highway.... Needing to stop before it flies open...All around bad experience and I won't be going back to Firestone. read more

Took my car here because my battery died as I was told by another mechanic they didn't have time to work on it. I went there dropped my car off left they called and told me I needed a starter I said can you just get the car started I'll drive it to my husband's shop. When my husband looked at the car they had not hooked up the negative are the positive battery cable and the car starts just fine I did not need a starter. I would never take my car here again they were very nice but now I see why they were nice they were trying to get another $500 and some dollars out of me. Earlier this afternoon, I went to the Firestone "Complete Car Care" branch at Rivergate. Three representatives offered absolutely nothing as I stood in front of them for at least 3 minutes....obviously whatever they were looking at on their computer screens kept all 3 of them much too busy to simply say that they would be with me shortly/in a moment/ etc. Zero acknowledgment of my presence whatsoever. I walked out and went to their competitor next door (Midas) and was immediately taken care of in a friendly, efficient and cordial manner and my needs were quickly met. I will NEVER patronize Firestone at Rivergate for any reason in the future....they are much too busy for me! read more

Expections BEYOND Exceeded!!! As I was planning to head back home to Atlanta yesterday, a flat tire decides to come into my life. And, yes, of course, it had happen on Easter Sunday where everywhere is closed; therefore, I had to stay another night putting my life behind schedule. As I was researching to find the best deal for "run flat tires" (yes, I was forced to learn this term since my 2013 BMW 328i is apparently a tire snob and has an even higher snob level BC Betty Bimmer is a convertible! So, long story short, I'm a huge Yelper since I was in a foreign town and Yelp lives up to its name and has always came to the rescue! And, it's because of these reviews that ultimately justifies my buying decision especially during a high stress situation. When I called, I spoke with Ryan, who was eager and happy to help; however, I was in bargain hunting queen mode, so I got the prices from his shop. Then, what ultimately made my decision was the fact that he was able to match my competition's price and then some by having a better quality "run flat tire" + nationwide warranty coverage attached. Immediately, I was sold. Then, when I got there, they worked me in fast since they knew I had a long drive back to ATL ahead (5 hours)! This is where they exceeded my expectations, Justin ( store mgr) went above and beyond by addressing and resolving an issue with my steering immediately where I was more than happy with the outcome! This place is recommended for all and ALL snob related tires need for high maintenance vehicle like my Betty Bimmer!! read more

Happy that they worked with me to put new tires all the way around my mom's car. Also, did a oil change as well. All of this within 2 hours of closing. Ryan was great. Unfortunately, after I'd gotten the estimate for those services. They decided to see how much additional services they could tack on. First off a cabin air filter, only $73. Yea, ok, whatever. How do you decide the car needs an alignment? Tire wear, ok. Check the specs. Needs an alignment. Not just any alignment but the top of the line, additional $100 over the ordinary alignment. What a bunch of *&^%, fill in your word of choice. Never go back again. Reinforced the perception that women and the eldery are easy targets to manipulate for added revenue streams. read more

These guys are fantastic! Rick and his team take care of all three of my vehicles and do a great job. Unlike some national chain locations, they are not constantly trying to upsell you on something you don't need. They are quick to offer solutions and have helped me with some creative workarounds with difficult vehicles. The only reason I didn't give a five star is the pricing is a little high, but I don't mind because as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. read more

Visited for the first time this morning and had a great experience! I liked the fact that they walked me out to my car, elevated in the garage, to explain to me why they were recommending a particular service. Given I just moved here, the other Firestone I use to go to for over 10 yrs never did that. Several customers in the waiting room were regulars & had been coming here for years they said. Some of them lived elsewhere & had other location options but preferred the team at this location. The Firestone team were treating them like family. These long time, regular customers highly recommended this location to me based on their great experience over the years. One of them even share her extra coupons with me. :) They did a great job on my car so I will definitely be making this my regular Firestone location! Thank you for the great service!!! read more

I bought a set of 4 tires from this Firestone store. After 20,000 miles I had issues with two of them. I had the extra protection on them so they said they would replace the two tires for $130+. I left the car there and about an hour later they called and said they were having a problem getting the on board tire sensors that show tire pressure on my dashboard off the car. They wanted to let me know that if they break taking them off it would cost an extra $75 each. What could I do at this point but ask that do their best not to break them. Long story short, the bill when I picked up the car was over $330. No broken parts were offered. Funny that they didn't have that problem when they sold me the original set. I can't prove they lied to me but it is odd to say the very least. Fast forward to yesterday. I now need a new set of tires for my Ford truck. I called this shop to get a price on 4 Bridgestones. They were almost $80 more expensive than another shop I priced them at. Same tires! I told them I found them for much less and they proudly said they would match that price. Now why would I run around and find the lowest price just to let these guys match it? Why didn't they give me a good price to begin with. And they had me in their computer showing all the business I have given them. They won't get any more believe me. read more

I made an appointment with these guys around 12:00pm today 1-10-17 and told them that we would be there around 4:30pm to 5:00pm . My wife got there first and dropped the car off . I had already asked them to just rotate,balance and do our free alignment we purchased when we bought the car. 2005 Buick Lesabre/ 88,900 miles .We weren't gone about 30 minutes and they called back saying we needed tie rods on both side of the car and that they can't align it without replacing them. $91.99 each side (WOW)! They are only 20.49 each at auto zone. Also it would be 126.00 install fee, and that they were going to prorate my tires 70,000 mile tires for 67.50. If any of you remember like I do, is that this is why Western Auto went out of business years ago. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years, guess it's time for a change! read more
