I work over the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, so having a nail in the tire is a serious issue. When looking up nearby places to get the situation fixed, I was told from this location they were closing soon. I explained them my situation and they told me to come in. About 15 minutes after close they replaced my tire. I really do appreciate what these guys did for me. I just really wish the Tire Kingdom I use over the Skyway was half as friendly and efficient. Everyone is alway skeptical of having their car being worked on and worry about having to pay for unnecessary procedures. You do not need to worry about this place. They are legit! read more

Made the mistake of getting 2 new tires here. Overpriced with a lack of customer service to boot. With all of the competition in the area, I am surprised at their approach. Tires were overpriced, too, but that's on me. They were out of my first 3 choices, also, with no ETA. I guess that's on me, too. Quality of work: Well, the tires haven't fallen off yet Everything else: negative. Customer service was nonexistent. Some examples: -For spending $450 and specifically telling them I was dropping on my way to work 10 minutes up the road, you would think they'd at least offer a ride so that I didn't spend another $30 on roundtrip Ubers. A quick peek into the garage revealed that the fellas didn't look too busy! -Asked me for a deposit, didn't explain why or when the deposit will be returned. "What do you want to put down as a deposit? $50?" This was the day before they were doing the work on the car. I have since paid in full for the tires + labor but the deposit has not been refunded. -No communication on when the car would be done. In fact, I was planning my work lunchbreak around rushing to the shop to pick the car up and I had to CALL THE SHOP to find out that the car was done So all in all, absolutely nothing was done to comvince me to ever return. read more

No one wants to be told that their tire has to be replaced, but for safety reasons it has to happen sometimes. Everyone here has been courteous and informative. They explained why the tire needed replaced and even brought it inside and showed me the TWO NAILS crammed into it. They called another location and had a tire brought in because they didn't have anything close to my existing tires. Great service and reasonably priced. read more

I have had the worst service I've ever experienced at this Tire Kingdom. The bad service was not just from one individual either. The first manager I dealt with was a very cranky old man. I used to work in the automotive industry and know that the guys in the shop are not hired for their social skills. That's why they have a manager that can handle people with good communication. This place got missed. I do not recommend going there. I had an alignment done on my truck and waited for 3 hours while they handled other people that came in after me because their jobs were quicker. When complaining to the manager, he just got cranky. Two weeks later I went for another alignment because my truck was pulling HEAVILY to the right. I check with the manager to find out when they can put my truck up for an alignment and he said come back in 40 minutes and he would get it done. Well when I came back, he had me wait for another HOUR before he even had his guys put my truck up. The moment I mentioned anything he quickly justified it by saying he was busy. I counted the cars in the shop. 3 cars (my truck not included), 4 techs, 3 of them doing nothing. After another HOUR, my truck was finally done. I do not recommend this location. The times that I mention in this review are accurate as I actually started timing my wait. read more

I was directed to this location by the tire companies website as they apparently had what I needed in stock. When I got there, they didn't have it - but said they'd order it and would have it the next day. Called next day and they didn't have it. Said they would by Friday and they'd call. No call. Checked in Monday and they had it, set appointment for Tues at 12, on my lunch break, to get it changed. Arrived and their guy was out at lunch and they had nobody to do it. Said call tomorrow and they could arrange it. Called the next day and said they couldn't do it in an hour, and they close by the time I get off work. They suggested Saturday and they'd check their calendar and get back to me. They did actually call back and said they had an opening at 8am! If I brought it in then, they could have it done sometime that day! I asked what if I came in at 9am, But 9am was taken. This is completely ridiculous. This is the worst customer service at ANY tire place I've ever been to, and I was in LA and NY for a while, so that's saying something. Looks like they have one guy, place empty every time I went there, so he lazily does whatever he feels like that day and if you beg, and have a second car so you can leave yours there for a while, then they might do something. read more

Came in today because my power steering went out and it is THE BEST EXPERIENCE I have ever had at a mechanic shop. Everyone there treated me and my son like family. They didn't have the part but were able to find one and get it today so I wouldn't be left without a car overnight. I was going to take a cab to go pick up money for the repairs and Michael was generous enough to let me use his truck. They went out of their way to help and had the most amazing customer service. Stay away from this place! I bought a brand new car, got a nail in a tire a week after. I ended up moving to NY and by NY law cars here need a safety inspection. They told me that the one tire different from the other three is all cracked up and could explode on the road!!! The brand new tire they installed for me didn't pass the safety inspection! When I called them they said sorry!! "I opted out of all warranties" it's such a shame how some people lack of conscience!! I paid a full price for a brand new tire "supposedly" and deserved a better service let alone honesty! I cannot find words read more

Didn't even want to give one star, but... I had to in order to write a review. Had purchased Sumitomo tires from another vendor. Tires were great till the recommended rotation and balancing. Went to this facility for this service. After service the tires were making a horrific noise. Brought back and manager indicated chopping which is usually caused by an alignment problem. Indicated that my front struts were just replaced, back struts adjusted and wheels aligned before the tires were installed. He indicated that I should contact Sumitomo. Contacted Sumitomo and they said Tire Kingdom could handle return. Brought back to facility and they said they could not because tires not purchased there. Informed them that Sumitomo was contacted and he said that was incorrect. Went to St. Pete and they indicated same problem. Paid for an alignment and there were no problems with my alignment from before the tires were installed to the day it was checked by Tire Kingdom. With this new information proving that it was not an alignment problem still no one was willing to help with replacement. Contacted Sumitomo again and no response. Contacted BBB and then EVERYONE started calling me. Now they are indicating cupping due to age of vehicle and state that due to those factors they would not be covered under any type of warranty. Previously stated 'chopping', which is much different than cupping, was now replaced with cupping from individuals who never even looked at my vehicle. Except for the St. Petersburg office. That manager just lied all together and is very rude. I indicated that two different facilities indicated alignment problem. But, there was no alignment problem so they decided to think of some other reason not to replace defective tires. Don't trust Tire Kingdom or Sumitomo tires. read more

Great customer service and fast turn around time. I don't know what changed since all those negative reviews but clearly it was for the better. My daughter had a ruined tire from driving on a flat. She had road hazard warranty but not the paperwork. They looked her up on the computer and replaced the tire in under 30minutes. read more

If you LOVE sitting around doing nothing, for hour after hour after hour, just to get jerked around, and have other people who walked in after you get serviced first; than this is the place for you! After AAA did not make it easy to get my car towed here, the jerk at the counter spent and HOUR playing games, adding things to my bill, telling me I really need to get this and that extra BS coverage, that I did NOT need, that would NOT save me any money, yeah. Finally, he accepted my first answer, no thank you. After that I got to SIT and wait, while everybody ate lunch, and ONE really REALLY SLOW guy worked on my car..it took another THREE HOURS to get that one replacement tire on. BTW, I had just bought 4 new tires, LESS THAN A MONTH before this. I sat at that place for four hours once, for an Oil Change. The Manager has a huge, extremely off-putting, dried up volcano on his nose, it hard to look at him as he gives his dirty looks, with that ugly thing. It matches his attitude perfectly!
