What was I thinking? I chose this location because of the proximity to my home. My car is not under warranty anymore therefore I figured I would use a local spot to give them my business and begin referring others to this location. My 200 coworkers are always looking for a good mechanic. A few weeks ago, my brake light came on. I visited the Pine Island location. Terrell seemed knowledgeable and kind. Terrell suggested I MAY need the rotors changed in the front along with the new brake pads. We agreed to changed the brake pads. He originally priced everything to $700...rotors and brake pads. Alfa Romeo 2021. Brake light was on. After the job was completed, I paid $400 + for front brake pads change. A few days later, I began to hear a light grinding sound when coming to a complete stop. The brake light did not come on this time. I returned to Terrell. He stated he 'cleaned' the back brakes and it should now be fine. I drove away content. I drive a lot to work so safety is a top concern! The next morning, my car was grinding more than ever...more than I have ever experienced since driving vehicles. This time my husband visited Terrell at Tire Kingdom. He called to inform me that TERRELL gave him a quote of $700 because my rotors needed to be changed. WHY was this not seen when days before he cleaned my rare brakes? $400+ later, we again paid within 2 weeks apart to fix rare rotors. How did this magically occur after cleaning the back brakes? Terrell also stated the rare brake was missing a bolt/screw. He was able to lower the cost from $700 to $400 + to change my rotors. I do not feel there was honesty in the work that was done. I really wanted this to be my 'to go' place but I can honestly say NEVER AGAIN. read more

I called up ahead of time to let the guys know that I was coming to get my tires mounted and and get my mud flaps installed they told me that they weren't that busy right? The total wait time for them to do the entire mounting took 227 minutes total... I'd rather go to someplace in Hialeah to do it cheaper and do it faster... with the atrocious wait time I don't think I'm coming back... update: as i was driving away i found out my mud flaps weren't installed at all in the 227 minutes i was there and that i need to come back a different day when one of the other guys is there??? read more

I'm 74. Store offered free tire rotation. My oil was at 40% so to throw them a bone I had an oil change too. When I returned after 2 hours salesman told me my one tire was a little worn and would not rotate tires. What difference is to him. He Just wanted to sell tire. So free rotation really is not free because they don't do it Yes tire was half way worn but in the rear of car could last 6 months. I only drive less then 20 miles a day. 300 dollar tire is almost 3 weeks of groceries for me. read more

I had to open up the hood and the due it myself lucky they didn't damage the cover or old filter Same thing with my cabin filter left the cover off. They told my grandmother that she needed brakes and rotors all around as well as motor mounts. The motor mounts were bad but all of the brakes were almost brand new. They also charged her a diagnostic for the check engine light and said it was caused by bad motor mounts. If they had bothered to load test the battery they would have found that it was bad. Please take your car to a trusted independent shop instead of this place. This place quoted her almost 3 grand for things she didn't need. read more

I had a horrible experience and was almost over charged at the Tire kingdom in Davie. Decided to go to the one in copper city , where I was helped by the young gentleman, Joel. Very helpful , I explained to him my situation over at the other location and quite certainly I was right. I made an appointment online to have two new tires put on my car. I had just had the other two replaced elsewhere a little over a year ago. I made the appt for 8 and they readily had availability. I dropped my car off before work. I get a phone call then telling me I need brakes and two other new tires. I definitely did not need the tires. And I have a trusted mechanic who does all the work on my car that will handle the brakes if need be. I go to pick up my car and suddenly my bill is over $100 more than what I was quoted. Apparently replacing an $8 light caused the increase because it's "incredibly difficult" to replace that light. It isn't. I would have done it myself in two seconds with the tire off. My actual mechanic has done it for free when replacing my front brakes because he apparently has integrity. I flat out said "you're out of your mind. I'm not paying that" to which I heard "let me see what I can do" as if I was being granted a favor. Thank god I will no reason to return here. read more

Took my car in to have oil change. Sat in waiting room for car. Guy kept trying to get me to fix other things. I just had car at Cadillac the week before to fix an issue and all was good and wiper fluid was working. About a week after going there I went to clean my windshield with wiper fluid and nothing came out. Stopped at gas station got fluid and opened hood. No refill tube. Completely missing. Looked around found the extension tube lying on top of another engine part. Nothing broke it had been unscrewed from the tank. Resevoir tank was missing. The sensor plug had been unplugged so I would not detect the low fluid or missing part. Avoid this location. Took to Mavis Georgia they agreed someone had removed it. Showed the parts. But directed to location to fix and handle and the manager accused me of taking it out myself. Or wanted me to drive 10 hours down to look at. AVOID AVOID AVOID THIS LOCATION. Thieves.. the Store Manager told me my wife's brakes were metal to metal in the back. When I first walked in, I stated I wanted to see my control arms because the van was pulling right and steering wheel crooked... the store manager comes back and tells me they're fine but I'm metal to metal in the back (I told him I just did the back 8k miles ago and he was left speechless). I confirmed after taking it to a buddy's shop. The back are at 7mm still. Do not go to this place expecting any real fixes. Use them for oil like I did and keep it moving. Took my car in to get a tire patched due to hitting a nail on the road. I had to wait for almost 2 hours just so they could inform me that the tire did not have enough tread in order to be patched. Additionally they tried selling me a tire that they didn't have in stock assuming I didn't need my car for the day. Terrible customer service avoid going to this location it'll be worth your while. Overall they are just interesting in upselling. They wasted my time, tried selling a tire they didn't have in stock. This is also now the third time if coming in and then saying I need new tires, new wipers, new brakes. Meanwhile not one of things was needed especially as the wipers and brakes were both just done. I took my daughters car tire to repair the nail then they found a damage on the thread side and to my believe they cut the tire while removing it, I did inspected before taking it to the shop. Then they try to explain how they can't do nothing about and I need a new tire, this tire is only 4 months old. This is a high performance tire and it will take about them 2 weeks to get it. TireRack will deliver in 2 days. I ask the rep to re installed the tire and inflated. Can't do it they took the nail out, I had to get involve, but a plug myself and reset the tire on the rim. Before that my brother in law had the BMW tires service by them and they damaged the security key for the lug nuts, They, again, play the " it is broken " game. Beside that they are extremely hungry for extra service. I fix and maintain all my vehicles and they have told me that I need brakes when in reality they are a year old brakes. Can imagine what they do to ladies and elders. will never go there again. Lots of other small business shops around us to choose from, and better service. read more

TIRE KINGDOM: Pine Island and Sheridan St. (Isn't there a rating less than 1 star?) OMG!! Needed to change the oil in my car and the air was a little low in one tire. I believe his name is Terrell and he told me the tires needed rotation and balance. Ok! Then he come back and said the car needed an alignment. Then it was the filters. I asked for a balance on this work and it was a little over $500.00!!! I told him that was ridiculous, so he mumbled something and brought the total to $430.00. Now I'm thinking that they started on it and it needs to be done. So... Then thinking about all this B. S. And YES, I knew I was had, I wanted to know how long much longer this was going to take and I wanted to see a running tab of each item that was done. I see all kinds of things I never asked for. Now, with the tax it's $492.00! I told him what I thought about all this and he mumbled something again and gave me a total of $401.00. I told him to check me out and that I was leaving, which he did. I honestly don't know how much of the work was actually done and if it was done properly, is a whole other question. I just wanted to write a quick review of this particular location of Tire Kingdom located on Pine Island and Sheridan. I have been bringing in very high end cars here for many years for all sorts of wheel and tire issues. I have found the guys in the shop really know what they are doing, and they don't try to upsell services you do not need. If there's a problem with the car, they'll take care of it, and if not, they'll tell you there's no problem. This is one of the few places I would trust with expensive rims and ultra low profile tires, especially runflats. Make sure you tell them ahead of time what kind of rims and tires you are bringing in. It will cost a little more, but they take their time to protect your baby. Finally, I want to specifically spotlight the service manager, Eric G. The last time I was there, there was a little miscommunication. But Eric kept his cool and acted very professionally, and in the end, the situation was taken care of to everyone's happy satisfaction. I definitely want to recommend this place for all your tire and wheel needs (most online shops deliver to these guys too, makes it very convenient). And ask for Eric, he knows his stuff! read more

Fortunately, I got a second opinion that confirmed that my tires were fine (less than 30,000 miles on the tires) and no alignment was needed at the tires were fine. Went to deal with bad tires. They said the reason my tire indicator light was on was two bad tires. They sold and installed two tires, also adding air to the two remaining tires. Store was courteous enough. But prices were high (particularly labor costs) and it took two hours, rather than the one hour promised. The following day, my tire indicator light was on again. Turned out, the problem was with the two other tires, not with the ones they replaced. So I then had to get those replaced. Again, very expensive. This time, it took close to three hours. read more

Placed my order online for hassle free premium synthetic oil change and tire rotation. When I arrived service writer immediately began "the upsell" for premium oil filter? He said the one that comes with it is not sufficient for synthetic oil. I told him that there was no choice online. Shouldn't the proper filter be included with the premium oil change? He begrudgingly said he would install the better filter without upcharge. Gee thanks. Next he said the rotation wasn't included. I pointed out it was included on my online invoice. He said he'd take care of it. After they started work on the car they indicated that my tires were worn below the wear bars and therefore they couldn't rotate. My tires have at least 50% of the original tread and are nowhere near the wear bars. The manager Terrell insisted on arguing with me rather than just providing the service I ordered. After fighting to get my tires rotated and get the proper oil filter the manager insisted that I say that I was satisfied that he had done everything he could for me. NO! At that point all he could have done was to turn back time and just be honest and perform the service ordered without debate. Instead he infuriated me. He also falsely indicated on the receipt that tires were below wear tread bars. I responded to Tire Kingdom Customer Feedback but never heard back. Obviously they don't care either! I used to go to this location years ago but haven't been back in awhile, now I think I know why. Note to self! read more
