Mazda of North Miami did service work based on a Mazda recall issue and told me that I absolutely needed a 4 wheel alignment. I chose to take my car to Goodyear as they quoted me half the cost of Mazda. They put the car up on the lift and did an extensive alignment check. Every measurement was within specs and they simply told me that the alignment was not necessary - no charge. I want to especially thank Rowan who facilitated the inspection and showed me a printout of how all specs were in the green range. read more

Failure to honor tire's insurance On April 8, 2023, I had an incredibly disappointing experience at a tire store that I had been a loyal customer of for over 11 years. The right front tire had a large nail in the middle, which I promptly replaced with a spare tire and positioned it at the back of my car. I was confident that my insurance would cover the cost of replacing the damaged tire. Upon reaching the store, I approached the person at the front desk, who shockingly informed me that my insurance had expired. This revelation caught me off guard, but I assumed I must have made a mistake. Together, we inspected the tires, and he showed me a tool indicating that they were not yet worn out. Despite this, I decided to proceed with the tire replacement as a preventive measure since they were nearing their limit. To my surprise, the store documented that my tires were already worn out, even though they could have been used without a risk. Due to the insurance expiration claim, I ended up paying for both tires out of my pocket. I requested the two tires that were supposed to be replaced, but the employees refused to hand them over. Exhausted from a long day at work, I did not push the issue further. I had always placed my trust in this tire store in the past, as they had consistently provided quality service and honored my insurance claims without any issues. Later at home I reviewed the paperwork founding out that my tires' insurance was Not expired. I returned to the store a couple of days later, after the heavy rain and storm, to discuss the situation with the manager. Armed with my insurance information, which clearly stated coverage for at least one tire. Unfortunately, the manager informed me that the tires were no longer available and insisted on following what was documented in the papers, which he conveniently failed to show me. Overall, this experience left me profoundly disappointed and betrayed. They lost a client. I wrote the review in their website which they didn't show, so they just leave the ones are convenience for the store. read more

I was driving through a construction zone and picked up a flat tire. Took into Goodyear Hollywood my go to spot for tires and maintenance. Thought I'd need a new tire but they were able to patch it. They always do great work , never try to oversell repairs not needed and always with a great , friendly attitude. Today Benny took care of my problem but he or Rowan are always great. BEWARE!!! Brought in a untouched set of factory rim's on my 2019 civic. By untouched the car has 14,000 miles on it and not a single tire had been removed since leaving the factory. Not a scratch on a single wheel! After a set of tires put on 3 out of 4 of the rims are severely gouged around the lip from piss poor installation! Upon confronting the management about this I was held up there an additional 3hrs on top of the 21/2 for the botched install repeatedly accused of lying and doing it myself because it was on the "parking" passenger side where the tech put the worst 2 damaged rims in a sad attempt to hide Before finial being offered a refund on 1 tire which I regretfully accepted out of being sick arguing back and forth and repeatedly called a liar WORST TIRE SHOP EVER read more

They were able to fit me in pretty quick for a tire replacement, since we had a long drive the next day. Tire had sidewall damage so they wouldn't repair, only replace, for good reason. Was nice about working the price down on a new tire to fit my budget. Did take a bit of time for one tire, but balanced another tire and rotated them as well. Complimentary coffee is a plus too. Very professional work. Nice to know that no shortcuts were taken. Sometimes time has to be sacrificed for quality. read more

I only come here when I need tires because prices aren't so bad and it's really convenient location-wise. Most of the guys are fairly unpleasant to deal with, but I think that's most auto shops. I had tires installed recently and they didn't balance the tire correctly so I had to go back and wait some more. Update: had to come back a second time because something is still wrong with my new tires that I paid $400 for (2 tires, not cheap ones). If they had a defective or recalled batch, they should have checked them better. This is dangerous to be driving with defective tires. Rude rude rude! After this is fixed, I'll never be back again. Another update: been here 5 hours, for them to tell me my tie rods were bad. They didn't notice this when they put new tired on 4 weeks ago??!?!? I was also told car would be done by noon, part got delivered at 12:30 and I'm still waiting. Drive away after 5 hours and an additional $200+ in repairs and car is no better. I don't like being told a repair will fix something and then it not work. Update 5/6: spoke with district manager and had to take my car to their Pines location which is miles from my house and inconvenient. Again, brought my truck in for service and repairs. I inquired if a tune-up was need and Fernando stated there's no need, just an oil change, clean rear brakes and replace air filter. I'd looked into some fancy tires last year and they advised to keep the same size tires. Basically, they're honest and don't try to add on unneeded services. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I went in for a simple oil change. It took 4 and half hours to get done and when I finally got my car back I realized they had broken my middle compartment where I store things. When I went back to tell the man at the front desk, he called the guy who had done my oil change. He went over to see the car and kept defending himself and saying I was a liar and it was broken before. The guy from the front desk came out and said "it's just plastic, its made to be broken." and "next you're going to say that the chair or mirror suddenly was broken too and blame it on us" I've had my car for 4 years and nothing has ever been broken for them to come and break it and take no responsibility for it. Newsflash! I'm happy to report - good service ISN'T completely dead in South Florida! My tire pressure light had been on for a few days, and I didn't have time to make it to the Dodge dealer, so I stopped in to this Goodyear location while running an errand in Hollywood. Every staff member was totally friendly and polite, and within two minutes someone was checking and adjusting my tire pressure. I was thrilled! I totally expected to pay for the service, and they said no charge. Seriously?! I will totally drive to Hollywood to give this place my business as soon as I need new tires. Love it. read more

I didn't get to check in here because my mom dropped my car off but the person who was doing my car was fantastic. He called me to let me know what was going on and only tried to sell me on one unnecessary service. I only say unnecessary because the service isn't needed for another 5k miles. Had my mom not been a mechanic herself, I would not have known this and I would have 'wasted' my money for the time being. Overall, I am super happy with the service I received and my car drives fantastic. I actually came in with the Goodyear Assurance ComforTred Touring tires for my car that I ordered from Discount Tire Direct (which I highly recommend), then I had this service center install them, balance them and align them. Safe to say i'm done with this place. They're nice but service is ROUGH and I'm suspicious now. Waited a half hour just to be able to drop off the car. Then waited more than THREE hours for a check on my tires. I realized later that night that they put one of the tires on backwards. I've had issues with the tires I've bought here before and for some stupid reason I kept coming back because it was close. I have been using their services for the last 18 years at the same Goodyear Auto Service Center. Recently, I had a flat outside of my area off of I-95 near Hollywood Boulevard. I placed a spare on my Lincoln Town Car on the side of the road and drove to the nearest Goodyear Auto Service Center located at: 2825 Hollywood Boulevard Hollywood, Florida 33020 The manager by the name of: Hector Pastrana Promptly started to quote absurdly high prices for the same tires I have been using for years. When I brought this to his attention, he explained that all Goodyear Service Centers are different and he can not honor any warranties on goodyear tires. He further explained that he would not even plug my tire, and continued to quote me absurdly high prices for a tire I could have bought anywhere for 50% cheaper. Why do I pay for warranties that will not be honored by a company that is nationwide? Considering that I take my Volvo S60, Lincoln Towncar, Chevy 2 ton pickup truck AND my Chevy Corvette to Goodyear, this really concerns me that NONE of their warranties will be accepted any other Goodyears. My experience with this Service Center and their manager, leaves me little choice but to stop all business with Goodyear and to spread the ill news to the rest of my family and friends. I hope this Customer Service failure on their part will make a difference in your choice as a consumer. At the end of the day, we just want to receive what we have paid for. Went there this am with a flat tire. They took the tire off the wheel and told me the tire was ruined. They said I needed to buy it and gave me a price. I said I bought these from Wal-Mart and had road hazard, but the nearest Wal-Mart center was far away. I then drove to Wal-Mart, and they just looked at me with disbelief. If you see him run the other way or he may take your phone too and say he lost it. I had my car towed to this Goodyear a few months ago when I got a flat. The service was great and they got me in and out pretty fast. This week one day after work I noticed one of my tires had a huge split so I took it to a tire place right near my job. They were backed up until the next day, I needed my car to get to work the next morning so I remembered the Hollywood Goodyear & gave them a call. They checked to make sure they had tires for my car while on the phone with me and then told me to head in. Once again I got excellent customer service! They stayed open a little late to take care of my tire and even replaced a brake light that I had out at no charge! These guys are awesome- friendly, dependable, AND fast! read more
