I have never had a negative experience with this Tire Kingdom. I scheduled an oil change and when arrived i asked them to include a cabin air filter change. There was a bit of time that my car sat before they started... but once they pulled the car in it was returned in an efficient manner. Dave was very personable and respectful very pleasant. Used to be great, Mavis took ownership, replaced staff with predatory, liars. I replaced front struts and a ball joint on my car and took it in to them for alignment. They lifted it up and after some time, told me all my suspension was old and needed replaced or the alignment would fail, quoted me to replace the new struts I just added plus a bunch of other items that did not need to be replaced. If they even looked at them they would have seen the brand new KYB labels on them. They tried to get me for $thousands thinking I was stupid. Was I suppose to call them out as liars and thieves on the spot? I said oh, ok, i'll have to get that scheduled later and left. Mavis, Tire Kingdom should be avoided at all costs, they will lie to you, if your not knowledgeable they are scamming you. I called in for the pricing of an oil change, quoted $89.99 plus $20 off coupon. When I went in for service, they recommended some maintenance service totally $2800. I said I would give this information to my husband as he takes care of any car issues, I heard the shop service guy nastily said "Why did I waste my time!". As a bigger person, I apologized to the gentleman checking me in and out since I'm sure this is how they obtain additional jobs for the shop. I support that. When the car was ready and they rang me out, fee jumped to $130+. After questioning, they brought it down to $111. I was expecting $70 plus tax or slightly more since they claim to have used more oil. They said that the number I called online goes to a call center in New York and they gave me a price from there. I called the same number again, it went to the store. I've used Tire Kingdom before but this place has a lot of Pinocchios especially after I didn't accept their recommendations for additional service that I didn't ask for to check. I know this is getting jobs for the store but it is a choice of the customer since it was not requested nor should you be upset that time was wasted. The extra dollars you charged me is not going to help you. Rule number one for business, maintain your business with positive attitude and obtain repeat customers. Rude people at this store, life is too short to be unhappy, dishonest or no integrity. I surely hope you have a better day. Recommend verification of services and fees before moving forward or just stick to who you normally take it to even if it is further. my wife and I dropped off our Jeep for both a tire repair and an oil change March 22nd. we ran some errands and quickly got a call to discuss a couple additional recommendations. we were walked through the details. the vehicle was done in a little over an hour. When I questioned it, there were 4 guys against 1 woman (me) arguing with me that they don't do conventional and that no Tire Kingdom aka Mavis had done them for years. I was NEVER informed of that until I got the bill. When I left, I called another Tire Kingdom and was quoted $59.99 for conventional and $69.99 for synthetic. When I called Inverness back to call them out, Chris, at the front, hung up on me. I have filed a formal complaint with corporate. Don't go there. They are scam artist and will try to upsell and have you fix things that aren't necessary. My elderly mom went in on the weekend for a nail in the tire and next thing she knows they came back with 2-3k worth of repairs she needed. She declined and took a copy of the repair list to her regular mechanic and none of the item requested were necessary. They work on commission so the more unnecessary repairs then more $ they make. They will do what they have to in order to get you to do extra repairs. read more

Starting with the front desk guy, Chris he got me in and was super helpful trying to find me a solution... it turned out screw was fixable and they were super honest and didn't try to sell me a tire. These guys are great. I brought my vehicle in for a tire rotation and alignment, but they found one of my tires had a radial belt separation causing my problem. So, they charged me nothing. read more

Where do I begin... Had an 8am appointment, and my wife's car didn't get touched for 45min. I was then instructed by the rudest shop manager I've ever seen that I needed tires due to age (he evidently didn't do his homework cause we just purchased the tires from this store a few years ago). After telling him that I just got the tires from them he went on to tell me that it was due to age and five years was the limit. I then told him that most places say up to ten years was acceptable. After telling me I'm wrong and to look it up I did! And guess what... I was right even his company that he's supposed to be the face for agrees with me. Then he finially agreed to balance the tires and for some reason only one tire was balanced. Maybe it the only one that needed it. The best part is they just added weight to a different spot on the wheel without removing the old weights. Then guess what, you guessed it the shop managed said there was nothing wrong with the way it was done and that's how they do things after telling me he's an Ase master tech and being one myself I know I seen that tie balance question on one of the test.. Then to end it the tech squeals the tires and slams on the brakes hard as I'm standing right there. Just another reason why I'm not bringing any car, or recommending anyone go there. read more

I had an appointment Monday morning at 9am. Because I work 8 to 5 Monday through Friday, I dropped my car off at approximately 7:30 am. The car was ready to be picked up by noon, which I was very appreciative of. I hopped in my car and went back to work. I then noticed that both new tires were placed on the drivers side - front and back. Now, I'm not a mechanic but even Goodyear.com suggests that if you buy two new tires you should have them placed on the rear axle. I don't know if this was from lazyness or stupidity, but I can't imagine why you would place two tires on the same side. Additionally, they took one of the "better" tires and tossed it. I told them to keep two of the best ones for the other two. I also received an alignment on the front with a new tire and an old tire. How that makes sense I will never know. To top it off, I checked my oil last night to make sure the oil change I got went okay - and I found a wrench under the hood. I know everyone is busy and short handed, but c'mon guys - really??? At the very least I want this to be corrected and pay for the tires and tax only. Everything else I was charged was pointless. Hoping for some kind of response. read more

After blowing a tire on Thanksgiving, I called first thing in the next day. Spoke with a darling man named Mark. He walked me through a few options and answers a lot of questions. Dropped off my car and in less than an hour the tire was changed and cleaned up. What made this experience so great was the professionalism and friendliness of Mark, the cleanliness of the lobby and how quickly it was all completed. I have a goofy tire size and live 90 miles away. I thought I'd have to rent a car and come back for it. What a relief! read more

went in there for a simple alignment for my 94 dodge pick up truck and they did there thing , came back inside to tell me I needed 1600$ worth of work needed for my front end And my shocks ... I told them those are brand new shocks and then they proceeded to go back out to my truck as I watched and the manger bounced on the back of my bumber and then said they seem fine and then my alignment was so messed up I took it to another shop and they said that tire kingdom loosened my stuff up and didn't even tighten it so thats kinda fucked read more

I feel comfortable putting my vehicle in the hands of this Tire Kingdom. They have always been polite with greeting me upon entry and have always pulled my vehicle up in the system without issue. My employer has recently started servicing the company vehicles with this Tire Kingdom. The store keeps each vehicle tied to the company account for ease of setting up service. The shop has never turned my service away. If they are swamped they offer the option to drop the vehicle off and call you to come pick it up when service is complete. The maintenance technicians have proven to be ethical with their estimates and repairs. The store has a nice waiting area in the back with complimentary coffee and television for entertainment. There is a Dunkin Donuts next door if you would like to adventure off for a different setting. read more

I want to tire Kingdom today which is my Saturday of my memorial day weekend. I initially wanted a four wheel alignment and asked to upgrade it to a five-year alignment program. I have been waiting there for a couple hours until the technician told the service salesman that he could not get the jam not loose on my tire rod to adjust the alignment. I told the salesman Brett, that I would take the truck to my shop to break the jam not loose. I come back with the truck and they put my truck back on the alignment rack, I wait there a couple more hours and the technician says he still cannot get the alignment correct because the tie rod is rusted. The salesman told me I needed to get my tie rod replaced in order to receive an alignment. I asked Brett the salesman to show me the tie rod, only to find look that the tie rod threads had been completely marred from the technician gripping the threads with a set of cobra pliers. I showed the salesman Brett where the technician had damaged my left tie rod. I told Brett that I wanted my tire rod replaced, in which he did. I also asked Brett how he would accommodate me for having me there since 9:30 AM and it now being 3:30 in the afternoon, for a job that should have taken an hour. Brett told me he wasn't going to charge me for the tire rod or the labor and wasn't going to charge me for my alignment which I feel he should have done anyway. Especially since he tried to blame the technicians damage on rust to get me to purchase another tire rod and charge me for the labor top of a five-year alignment. I felt the gentleman there and the technicians tried to take advantage of me, but they did not know I have been a technician for 10 years. I further stated because they weren't going to do anything really for me that I was going to contact corporate and let them know how my experience was at their shop. read more

Got there and was given the paperwork to sign and saw that Sumitomo tires were on the paperwork, not Michelins. Now, for the Michelins I had asked for, the price was now $130 more than the quote I was given. The service rep was extremely rude. Did not acknowledge that I was even inside. The website says curbside service call when you arrive. They didn't answer the phone. Had brake check done, because brake pedal was a little soft and abs was coming kicking on when turning. Told it was the hub bearings as that is where the abs sensor was. Had the work done. Got truck back and the abs problem was solved, but now the brake pedal went almost to the floor. So i'm into them over $500.00 and go back and explain the problem. now i'm told I need a drum kit and shoes and pads. Another $500 bill. And the brakes are a little better. I can't believe no one noticed any of the other problems or that that the pedal now went almost to the floor. Very dangerous to send a customer on the road that way. I'll drop my car off randomly for an oil change and let them get to it when they can and it doesn't take more than an hour and a half for them to give me a call letting me know it's ready.. Stopped by for Oil change with coupon. Coupon was for $22.99 Oil Change & Tire Rotation included. We were told it would be $28.00 for our car. When the vehicle was finished we were charged $32.32. They told us the quote was a mistake that we would have to pay the $32.32. We marked the tires before going in, so as you guessed, the tires we're not rotated either. Buyers beware. I have been to several tire kingdoms and been disappointed everytime. Decided after years of avoiding them and seeing how i have never been to the one in Inverness Florida i would give them another chance. Yep same bad service! Oil all over my truck, engine and scratches on side of my truck where they leaned over to put oil in. Very bad service. took three hours you would think after three hours they would do it right! We dropped my husbands work car up there on Saturday around 10 a.m. And told them just to have it done before they close on Sunday all it needed done was an oil change and one of the tire pressure sensors on the car wasn't working correctly so he asked them to fix it. They never called we called them at 3:30 Sunday and they said they were working on it then and that they would call when it was ready. I looked online it says they are open till 6 on Sunday so by 5:15 when we still hadn't heard from them we called again because my husband was getting nervous. When no one answered we decided to ride up there because regardless of whether it was done or not we had to take the vehicle my husband needed it for work. When we arrived at 5:35 it was closed everything was locked up including my husband's work car. He got in a lot of trouble at work because all of his tools were in his car as well as other things that would prevent him from being able to go to work that day. my husband works an hour and a half to two hours away from here. When we did get up there Monday morning to pick the car up they had done absolutely nothing to it. They never apologized nor showed remorse for the fact that my husband got in trouble and missed a day of work for this BS. Never again will another vehicle of ours whether it's company owned or personally owned be brought here. read more
