I thought I had just a small tire leak , you know, a $20 patch and i leave. My trusted mechanic of 8 years said " you have a cracked rim. We dont do that here as far as fixing it. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others. I know this is a long review but if you care about your vehicle please read!!! I chose this shop based on the good ratings, but my experience was hands down the worst I've had anywhere -- and the way they respond to negative feedback instead of taking accountability is a major red flag. First issue: communication. I called ahead to confirm my powder-coated wheels would be ready (I live an hour away). They told me to come at 5 PM. I arrived -- and was told two wheels still needed painting. Only after I pushed did they stay late to finish them. I appreciated that, but the issue was being told they were ready when they clearly weren't. Second issue: quality. Within a day, the coating began chipping -- even in areas where there's no contact. When I brought it up, I was told "powder coating chips easily." I accepted that I got what I paid for. The real problems started after installation. I noticed rattling and shaking in my steering wheel. Turns out, they installed a faulty sensor that was loose inside the wheel. On top of that, they didn't tighten the valve stem on another wheel -- my tire went completely flat the next day. I called and was told to come back. I did -- only to be told their balancing machine was down for a few days and I'd need to return again. Why ask me to come in if you're not prepared to help? While replacing the sensor, I asked them to check the tire that went flat. During that process, they popped it. Their excuse? The tire was worn and they "told me before." That's simply false -- the tire they popped was nearly brand new with less than 5,000 miles. It had been completely chewed up from the inside edge due to their poor installation. That damage happened after they mounted it incorrectly. I'm lucky it didn't blow out on the highway. Instead of taking responsibility, they made me pay for a used tire just to leave. And the second I pulled out of the lot, my TPMS light came on. When I returned, it turns out they filled the tire to 60 PSI. On a 2-door car, that's completely careless. Even after correcting the pressure, the TPMS light stayed on. I ended up going to a different shop, where I was told one of the wheels is now slightly bent, which is why my car shakes at highway speeds. I had zero issues before bringing my wheels here. Between the poor communication, shoddy work, and refusal to take responsibility, I'll never come back and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who values their car. I now have to spend more money fixing issues they caused. Save yourself the time, money, and stress -- go elsewhere. read more

I had pothole damage on my two front wheels. They were bent and couldn't be balanced and were causing a lot of vibrations while driving. I got an appointment at GeForce Bent Rim Repairs. I got there, and they went right outside and removed my wheels where I was parked. Brought them inside, repaired them and had them back on my car in less than an hours time. They said my cost would be less than what they quoted me prior to my appointment. So I was very surprised and happy. One new wheel alone would have cost me over $800, and a used one is $400. Very confusing when you book an appointment with Bent Rim Repairs. They don't respond in yelp when you book an appointment. And since they ask for your location, it seems like you booked your appointment for them to come out and do your rims with a truck like many (most?) other companies. After booking them to come over (I thought) between 10 and 12, I called at 12:15 and asked if they were running late. The lady that answered told me they don't come out to the customer, the customer goes to them. That sort of makes it tough if you have 4 wheels that need work... you will need an Uber or a second car as they will likely keep the wheels over night if you don't get their first thing in the morning. Not sure about their work, as we never got that far. I'm in Daytona, they are on Orlando only so a 1.5 hr Uber ride home and then a 1.5 hr Uber ride back tomorrow was both inconvenient and drove the cost up significantly. They *may* be a great shop but I would not recommend booking in Yelp to get their service as they don't respond. I wasted an entire morning waiting for them to make the appointment. I then found a local fellow who came right out to me... and just finished fixing my wheels this afternoon. After making the appointment in yelp where Bent Rim provided their availability for 10 to 12 today, confirming the appointment through yelp, asking them to text me when they got here (via the Yelp appointment correspondence system) and having absolutely no correspondence back, I'm not impressed. Came here referred by a friend saying they did an amazing job on his CTS-V. I brought 4 wheels that had some minor curb rash. They were quick un mounting the rims that needed to be fixed and putting on my stock wheels. Being meticulous with my car and rims I told the owner or man in charged I was referred and this was the place I should come to if I wanted an amazing job. I told them to take all the time they needed but I want an excellent job. Dropped off the rims on Monday and they called me on Tuesday saying they were ready. Puzzled I told them I'd pick them up on Friday. Come Friday all 4 rims were poorly fixed, scratches looked like they were painted over without fixing, had weird marks throughout the rims and the paint was poorly blended. I nicely started pointing out the imperfections and asked the worker to touch up the areas and then the owners, or the man in charge, came out irritated because I was inspecting my rims. He asked me angrily what was wrong with the rims and I started pointing out the horrible job he did. He didn't like me pointing out his work and told me that that this is a repair and that it wasn't going to come out like new. I told him needing a repair is the reason I came to you and he totally blew me off saying ok ok I'll pull out the magnifying glass and redo it, come back Tuesday or Wednesday in a disgruntled tone. I was in shock how I was treated because I didn't settle for poor work. I didn't see the man again so I left it at that. Come Wednesday night I didn't hear from them so I called. They left me on hold and told me they'll call me back and never did. I called on Thursday, the owner answered and told me the rims were ready, I reminded him that I wanted everything done right and my expectations. I was super nervous and hoping that I wouldn't run into any issues with the man. When I picked them up I again inspected the rims and I could just feel the irritation he had for me doing this. This time rims looked brand new. I proceeded to pay and didn't say a word nor did he. Gave me the receipt no thank you no nothing. The workers are quick and they are very busy but get stuff done quickly, I have nothing but great things to say about the staff. I even tipped the initial guy well because they were all hustling and busting their butts. The customer service and the way the owner/man handles things is not right. If you come here inspect your rims and if it isn't done correctly prepare for battle. smh read more

I am so happy I found this place. Tbh, a friend recommended this place to me and I am grateful he told me to go here. I caught a pot hole and my rim slightly bent from it. So because the dented part of the rim was on the inside, it cost only $80 before taxes. Wow! It was super affordable and I am so happy I got it done here because I saved so much money instead of buying a new rim from the dealer or on eBay. I only waited two hours for it to get fixed which is not bad. I had to fix a rim before for my other car and it took them a whole day and it was $700... this place is affordable and efficient. I believe it's $100 to fix your rim if it's dented from the outside. The staff was cool and friendly. The manager is a very nice lady and the kid that helped me with my rim was very kind and knowledgeable. They spoke English and understand it, but the second I spoke Spanish they were very down to earth. :) Definitely come here for any rim repair. I called in one week before Christmas and inquired about an opening. I was told to drop the vehicle off Monday morning and get it back that evening- wow! I made another comment to which Bent rim repair replied stating I didn't have an issue with the price L O L. They made me pay before EVEN SEEING THE WHEELS. I pointed out the fact that there was a lot of spots missed and the gash. As far as the spots missed they said it was too hard to do and that's as good as it's going to be. (The statement of someone who doesn't truly care about the work, I say this with experience just about anything can be done you just have to care about your work and craftsmanship). As far as the gash on the face of the wheel i eas told it was already there which was a complete lie. The manager said he'd make it up by selling me tires at cost and gave me his number. I called several times and was given the run around until eventually I was completely ghosted all together and at that point just gave up. There's no excuse or reason for what they did like I said in my previous statement it's a lack of workmanship, quality, or even care and management. No appointments and there isn't much around the area to wait for your repair (90-120 minutes depending on the work required). Very happy with the results and reasonable costs. While I have waited for my wife's Rouge I saw Porches, MB, BMW, Impala, Maserati, Audi and Corvette. This place has a well deserved reputation. The address on Google Maps doesn't recognize this as South OBT. I called confirmed location removing South from address brought me here, however for mail purposes use South. Lady on the phone was really helpful, upfront and honest. I had a scrape on my back passenger rim. They were very busy due to Classic coming up, so she quoted me a few hours 2 or 3, but they would put the spare tire on so I could finish my other plans as well and call when finished. I just bought a 2019 Tesla model 3 that had sever curb rash... on every rim. I swear the previous owner must have thought it was fun to drive along curbs. When I bought the car it was the 1 thing that drove me nuts. I was originally looking at spending the $2000 it costs to buy new Tesla rims and tires and when talking to a neighbor about this purchase they told me about Bent Rim Repair. They gave me their number and I called. I was given a quote of $300 to repair all the rims and told to bring the car in the next morning. I assumed because of the amount of curb rash and the severity the quote might end up being a little more and probably take a few days. When I brought the car in the next morning, the immediately took a look at it and quoted me the same $300 for all 4 rims. I was also told that it would be ready by noon... it was 9am. This is when I got nervous. In my head there is no way they could repair that damage and be done in just a few hours. But I left the car there and put my faith in my neighbors review. I went back right at noon and they were finishing up the last rim. I walked over to the car to take a look at what they had already done and my mouth dropped.... honestly I was floored. The rims looked brand new. You couldn't tell there was any issue with the rims whatsoever. They painted the lip of the rim where the damage was and it matched 100% exact. Unfortunately I found myself in need of a wheel replacement according to the dealership on my new Ford F-150 after failing to navigate around something causing a minor split and slight bend which was so subtle I didn't realize it happen and it wasn't until I noticed my tire slowly losing air pressure that I started investigating the reason. Although I felt the damage to my OEM 22" Aluminum Wheel should not have occurred from an incident that was unnoticeable to me but Ford Motor Company disagreed and I lost all rights to appeal after the original ruling. The replacement cost from the dealership was $1,768.00 after looking at other suppliers I was able to locate a few new wheel options for around $1,200.00 not really wanting to buy this OEM wheel from an aftermarket supplier online without first looking at it I started looking for other options and this is when I found Bent Rim Repair in Orlando. The dealership had already broken the wheel from the tire during the inspection process so I took a few photos of the damaged area and emailed them to Bent Rim Repair, they quick responded that the damage appeared to be minor and quoted the guarantee repair via their email reply using only the pictures. I called and set a time to have the rim repaired for 9:00 AM on Saturday which worked great for my schedule. After arriving at Bent Rim Repair and an onsite inspection of the wheel I was told the repair could be completed in just a few hours and the price quoted was good. I left the wheel and returned a few hours later to find the wheel repaired and completely polished to like new condition, they mechanically re-balanced the tire and removed my spare and remounted the newly repaired wheel. Total charge $100 as quoted saving me a lot of money, I am amazed that Bent Rim Repair was able to repair my wheel to like new condition in such a short amount of time for such a small charge. These guys are amazingly talented, professional, and honest, they do what they say and as busy as they seem to be there's no doubt they have been this way from the very beginning. I was a little nervous about trusting a smaller shop, but after i read the hundreds of great reviews i decided to stop in and talk to them about getting my stock Challenger RT wheels powder coated. I had been thinking about buying new rims and tires completely but really liked my 5 spoke wheel type so i decided to go the paint route. The price and turnaround was very reasonable. Right away they were nice, helpful, got me right in and even let me have some loner wheels for the few days i would be without my rims and tires. They quoted me as 3 business days which isn't too bad, and they were very happy to show me samples of the different tones of black (Gloss/metallic, Satin Black, and Matte Black). After some discussion i decided to go with the Satin black as it was a perfect mix of the metallic/gloss black and the dull matte black. As soon as i walked into the shop to get my car i saw my newly powder coated rims in the shop, wow. The attention to detail and craftsmanship is EXCELLENT! They were even able to hand paint the center caps with silver to match the lug nuts and badges while powder coating the rest of the center cap to match the rims. I will definitely be a customer for life for anything wheel/tire related as long as i am in Orlando. If you need a repair, or a color change to your rims, do it here!
