Fair prices, honest work, and a constant stream of cars coming in and out. People didn't just go there because it was convenient, they went there because they knew they wouldn't get taken advantage of. Senior citizens trusted Vaughn, including my mother, because they knew he would never rip them off or steer them wrong. Vaughn, to me, will always be one of the kindest, most decent men I've ever known. He took care of my mother and her cars for over 20 years. I remember calling from California to check on her, and every single time, she was getting solid advice, fair pricing, and real care when it came to her car. That kind of consistency is rare. I will never forget how well he and his team treated her. Fast forward to today. Vaughn passed away a few years ago, and his loss was deeply felt in this community. With him, it feels like the heart of that shop went too. The business is now run by Jimmy and his daughter. And the difference is noticeable. Where there used to be a steady flow of customers and cars waiting to be serviced, now the lot is often empty. My mother and I both had a very different experience there recently, and I'm going to be very direct about it. The treatment was rude, cold, and dismissive. I returned the following business day to discuss potentially receiving a refund and possibly compensation for my damaged property (my wheels) and they refuse to comply. They say their techs tightened my lug nuts to spec. Implying i left their shop and loosened my lug nuts myself and then drove on said wheels ultimately damaging them to the point that they wont even bolt onto my vehicle properly now. outrageous! I was driving my vehicle the evening of the day they performed service on my vehicle and the steering wheel began to shake violently and making lots of noise, i got out to check my car, jacked it up and the wheel was just floating there loosely, with roughly an inch of play in all directions. I had to leave my vehicle in the parking lot of a church over night with a note in the window containing my phone number, of course the property owners called me bright and early at 7AM the following morning, saturday and told me i had to get there within an hour an have my car removed from their lot or it would be towed, so i got up and went there and waited for a tow truck to arrive to get my car towed home. I take great pride in my 99 Lexus and it shows, these people also dropped my car from 3 feet high onto the cement with their lift, WHILE I WAS SITTING IN THE VEHICLE! I'm sure their insurance company would love to hear that one! I would NEVER recommend this business to ANYONE. I am now in the process of having my attorney contact them. It's a shame, something so simple could easily be handled outside of court with their insurance company and none of this would happen.

When I got there too, to my very pleasant surprise the bill was $100.00 less than originally quoted.
