Usually service is great at this location. Brought my vehicle in to get a quote for a gasket valve replacement for engine. The tech didn't even want to look at it and said they can't do it since they close in an hour. Tech had an attitude that he didn't care from the get go. Took our truck in for rear calipers to be replaced. Came home and had no brakes. My husband looked at the brakes and said they were on upside down. Went back the next day, spoke to manager Emery, who said they were on correct. We were then told the master cylinder was bad and they replaced it. At the end of the day Emery called and said that he couldn't figure it out and we needed to go to the dealer - he thought it was with the main module of the ABS system. My husband still contended that they were on upside down and had that confirmed by a Ford dealership. Third time back to Tire Kingdom and they installed the calipers correctly. There was no apology, acknowledgement of wrong doing, or anything. I had to get a call with the District Manager to okay refunding us. NEVER take your vehicle here!!!!!!! read more

09/20/2021 I noticed shaking in my steering wheel so I called Tire Kingdom and told them I wanted an alignment, balance all 4 tires, and replace the driver side lower ball joint. They quoted me 374.49. 09/21/2021 I took my 2010 Toyota Tacoma to Tire Kingdom to have them work on it around 9:00am. About 4:00pm I get a call from them telling me the spacers on the wheels were not right to come in and look at them. I rode over there and looked at what they were talking about. Seeing the problem I asked if they could leave the truck here until I fixed the the spacers. They said that is not a problem. When I got home I called them and asked them for a quote to replace the drum brakes on the back as when the mechanic took the back drum off and showed me it needed changing. They told me 96.95 out the door. So I told them to go ahead and do them as well. 09/22/2021 The next day one of their mechanics came and picked me up to put the fixed spacers back on the truck. I gave him a 20.00 for gas for coming to come get me. A few hours later they said they was done with everything. Going to the desk to pay I over heard another mechanic whisper to the guy at the desk that the truck was still shaking. The guy at the desk came up to me and said it still has a little shaking but it is much much better. That it when he told me the bill price. I thought I was going to drop in the floor when he said 826.86. I asked him it that right? He told me yes. So I paid it and he handed me the invoice. Driving home the shaking wasn't much better as he stated. Getting home I looked the invoice. Being a mechanic for a number of years I knew I had been scammed. The first thing I saw was Brake fluid exchange. There was no need for that as I had new fluid in it and it was topped off when I turned my truck over to them. The second thing I saw was the drum brakes. What I was quoted wasn't what they charged me. I was told 96.95 out the door. They charged me 308.93. 09/23/21 Going to the garage I pulled the back wheel off to see if they changed my drum brake pads. They did, however they did not balance my tires as the old weights were still on the wheels. Looking at the brake fluid it was at the mark where I left it. The alignment I don't believe they did as well as it would still pull to the left on the road. 09/25/2021 Filing with BBB, and FTC. I searched on google and the reviews on this company and I was shocked to see how many costumers had the same problems, if not worse as I had to deal with Tire Kingdom. Oct 02, 2021 Thinking the shaking was due to the spacers I ordered new spacer and tried them. They didn't help. I spent months trying to find why my truck was shaking. Sometime in Nov. 2021 I checked the wheels and found the driver side wheel was really loose pointing to a bad wheel hub. Something I would have thought Tire Kingdom would have checked but didn't. I took it to Central Florida Automotive to have them replace the hub. A few hours later I get a call saying I also needed a CV Axle on the driver's side as well, that it was really bad. 12/12/2021 Having done research I believed it to be the steering rack. So I ordered one and outer tie rod ends December 8, 2021. I had a friend help me to change it out. When we got to the passenger side tie rod we had a very hard time backing the nut loose. We had to use heat to help us. When we got it off we saw the amount of corrosion on the treads and I knew Tire Kingdom never did the alignment. You would need to loosen that nut to adjust the toe in or out. I wouldn't trust them with an adjustable wrench. Back in November of 2019, I had my brakes replaced, both front and back at the Lake Wales location on my Nissan Quest. Lifetime guarantee according to my receipt. Fast forward to December of this year, I hear squealing and squeaking coming from the passenger rear. I had my wife take it in to them on Dec 20, 2020. She arrived at 10am, right at opening. It wasn't until 11:30am that they took the car back. They check and say that the brakes are totally shot on that wheel and that it would need replacing. How in the heck can brakes go bad in one year? And only on one wheel? The rest were perfect. That tells me the job wasn't done right the first time. So, what do they do? They only charge for labor. $150 in labor charges. My issue, why charge my wife anything due to the job not being done correctly in the first place? I ended up calling the 800 customer service number and spoke with Lillia at ext 11823. Very sympathetic. After telling my story, she says she will research and get back to me. The next day, I call to inquire as to what the status is. I was told by another customer service rep that she is working on my case and would call me back in 5 minutes. 2 hours later, still no call. I call back, told again she is on the other line and would get back to me. About 5 minutes later, she calls me back. She spoke with someone at the store and she proceeds to tells me that they, meaning the local store, wants to fix my issue. The issue was resolved when they changed the brakes properly this time. My problem is having to pay for the same job a year later (labor charge). Lillia proceeds to tell me, after I asked if there would be a full or even a partial refund, that no refund would be given. This set me off. I had some not so nice things to say and promptly ended the call. They wasted my time. I've had great experiences previously with Tire Kingdom. However, after this, they won't be getting my business. I will proudly tell anyone that will listen to not go here. I feel ripped off. If you have visited this location previously and had brake work done, I'd get it checked. They put me and my family in danger due to their negligence and sloppy work. read more

On day of appointment take the 30 min drive and sit there for an hour just to be told they cannot do it there and I have to go to Lakeland. Service was terrible was ignored when I walked in the door for up to 10 minutes. When waited on I finally got my tires paid for all the warranties and road hazard and everything then got a flat approximately 10 to 12 Days later it was charged in additional $55 to get the new tire that the insurance was supposed to take care of at that time I was ignored again for a good 10 minutes up on arrival at the store had to drop the tire off told me they would call me when it was ready never received any call stop by there on the second day and they're laid the tire inside the door ready to mount and they expected me to just throw the tire in the back of the truck and drive off and put it back on the truck myself I'm a 62 year old man with disabilities do not think they treated me very fairly I will never go back there again my wife likes using tires Plus and I think that's where I was out from now on read more

Total liars and cons. Went to get my tires checked for a rumbling sound. Said my ball joints were bad, shocks were leaking, and rotors were warped after making me wait well over an hour and a half with an appointment. Wanted to charge me ~$2,000 for it all. All the while they broke my wheel locks even with the key... how do you even manage that? I knew this was not correct at all because I know a thing or two about cars. Took it back to my dealer for them to look at it for them to tell me the tires just were not wearing evenly (they were cheap and this happened before a rotation was really needed so it wasn't from neglecting to rotate them on time) AND found out the idiots at Tire Kingdom torqued the lug nuts way too hard so to get my wheels off at the dealer they had to break the lug nuts.
