Slow and USELESS! My vehicle runs more poorly after the inept personnel, (clearly they do not employ mechanics) did whatever they did to my car. When I returned to get the issues resolved, I was told that problems often occur after repairs are made. WHAT??? If you take delight in being lied to, wasting a great deal of your time, and having to pay a great deal of money to have your car run poorly, then get to Tire Kingdom as fast as you can. read more

0 stars do not go here, I came in for a simple tire air leak. They told me it would be 45-1 hour to put the car up on a lift and fully inspect the vehicle....for an air leak..... I went some place else immediately after and they fixed it in 10 minutes. Staff is rude, simply put do not go here. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Another 0 star review... Bought tires for our car here a year ago and took it back for an oil change to take advantage of the free lifetime tire rotation. The car had a vibration and I asked them to investigate. Got a call back from Hector that we needed brakes and a battery. I said "what about the vibration?". He said "the what?"..."the vibration I asked you to look into",,,,"oh yeah, that's the brakes" he said and then rattled off estimates for the brakes and battery. I knew the car needed brakes but also knew that wasn't the cause of the vibration...I still might have had the brakes done that day since we were already there, but the fact that they paid no attention to my request and instead used it as false leverage to take my money, I chose not to. When I refused the work, Hector told me that the work needed was a safety issue and "he can't let me drive off with the car like that". I said I was OK taking the chance, and he got kind of aggressive about it. To end the conversation I finally told him I'd sign whatever I needed to sign from a liability standpoint (I ended up signing nothing and wouldn't have) and that I would have the work done elsewhere or myself, at which point he said come get the car. I checked the battery when I got home and it was fine. Took the car to our repair guy and the right front tire was separated! Something that couldn't be seen in our driveway but obvious when the tire was off and should have been caught during the tire rotation even if I hadn't asked them to look for it. After all that BS about safety they let me drive off with a separated tire! My daughter could have had a blowout. I don't normally write reviews. But this is the second time they've tried to pull this safety scam on me. The first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but this time went too far. These guys are disingenuous crooks. Fortunately I knew better, but who knows how much money they scare out of people with this safety con. The really scary part is they let a real and obvious safety concern pass right through. They sold me 4 new tires, 6 months later the front ones were vibrating so I went back and they said they were recalled but they would only replace the front 2, now having trouble in the back, about 7 months later and the guy up front looked out the window at my car and said oh it's the sensor.... he'll replace that for 99$ ! Wish we could give 0 stars. Upon leaving the store with new brakes the rear right caught on fire! Their solution? Charge em $1200 more for parts they destroyed by not even test driving it after installation. Which is funny since they wouldn't use the new parts we brought with us due to "liability ". They weren't worried about liability when they sent us out of there with faulty work. They just wanted to charge more for parts. We will not be returning for their "fix". This used to be my go-to shop since I moved here in 2010. I have even referred business to them. Never again. They were bought by a conglomerate called Mavis, and their corporate "customer last" policies really shine through. Story: Called to request a warranty rotation, and also told them I had a screw that needed to be patched. They said it would be a $28 up-charge. For a $1 patch? LOL. So I patched it myself, and drove over (literally 2 block from my home) on low PSI from the patch. They refused to rotate my tires and said I HAD to buy a new tire and it's their policy. No worries, it's my policy not to do business with companies who treat customers like that. I will say for the suits up the chain that I have no complaints about the manager, he was just following orders and I get that, but I'll never buy tires here again. Bottom Line: It's a great service w a coupon. I got a coupon out of one of the mailed coupon books. I needed an oil change and a tire rotation. That is what the service was that was listed in the flyer. I walked in and they said they were super busy and I needed to make an appointment. I did so and went back a week later. Under $30 out the door for an oil change and tire rotation. Done in less than an hour. Bottom Line: went in for what I needed - got the service and at a good price. Will def go back. read more

Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience at this Tire Kingdom. On May 11th I realized I had a nail in my tire (the tire was still fully inflated and car was driving fine), I had it patched at this location. The next morning, May 12th, I discovered the tire they had patched was completely flat. Called Tire Kingdom and they immediately informed me they would not re-patch the tire and I would need to purchase a new tire. After a lot of pushback, they finally agreed to re-do the patch. I had to have roadside assistance come and put my spare tire on my car just so I could get there for them to re-do the patch. Two days later, May 14th, my car displays a message that the tire pressure sensor is malfunctioning on the same tire that was patched. I bring my car back into Tire Kingdom, they tell me the pressure sensor is working, they reset my vehicle's settings, and I shouldn't see that message anymore. Very next day, May 15th, my car displays the same malfunctioning message. I take my car in for a FOURTH time. This time they tell me the patch they did must be leaking, that they will not re-patch it, and again try to make me buy a whole new tire. I know this can't be the case because the car says the system is malfunctioning, not that the tire has low pressure. They then admit that they simply have no idea what the problem is AFTER they tried to sell me a tire. Long story short- they refunded me for the patch, I took the car to the competent people at Gatto's down the street and they fixed the issue in about 30 seconds. Save yourself your time and sanity and take your car anywhere else. read more

I went to tire kingdom merritt island on monday May 5th due to sudden loss of Braking and a hissing sound from the Brake Pedal ... hector gave price for bleeding air out of the lines. I returned the next morning, Tuesday May 6th after leaving Doctors Office at 0815 had multiple fault code warnings when I stated my 2001 Z28 Camaro. A friends grandson who is a mechanic in San Diego returned my call at that moment, and said there was a 98% chance the PCV Valve connector came loose and the Valve had pulled back I simply asked hector to simply push the Valve back in and tighten the clamp ( I am 67 years old who can only walk with a crutch as I have suffered 3 strokes and have moderate left hand tremors as well as on April 15th had a cataract removed from my right eye and on April 29 my Left Eye ... one week ago. As I had the IOL lens ( per Medicare ) only a distant lens put in so every thing just past arms length is a blur ) he said it was a diagnostic test and it would freakin cost 149.00 Dollars. The PCV Valve is on TOP and can be EASILY seen and REACHED ... He refused to tighten ONE Clamp screw ... ONE SCREW 2 TURNS at most unless I paid 149.00 DOLLARS ... Are you freakin kidding me ??? read more

I've used the card enough to know that is a lie. I went down the street to Firestone and they got it approved and replaced the battery in less than a hour. Did the Management change? There was a guy today who claimed to be the manager that absolutely was disrespectful to a customer, while I and others were standing there. He was rude and then screamed obscenities as the customer was trying to understand why the cost went up so much from prior visits ... no explanation except to say that it is what the computer is quoting. Then the customer realized the guy didn't know why and so he said, ok just do the oil change as he needed to get it done, regardless. As a result of all the questions from the customer, the manager then told him to leave and get the Fu*k out...in front of us all. Sad to see a business that was reliable take this turn. Lug nuts on front driver side were left extremely loose after having my wheels balanced, I mentioned it to the service manager and he was extremely rude and acted like he didn't see the problem even though it was obvious the lug nuts were extremely loose and I pointed it out. I'm fairly certain the lugs were slightly damaged but the just hammered the nuts on with the impact If I continued down the road it would've for sure lost the wheel and put me and others in Danger not to mention the damage it could've caused. I've bought multiple tires and had services done at this location and the lack of care and rudeness for something so obviously dangerous for my safety will have me not wanting to come back to this location. I was never rude or impolite to the people even when I realized the lug nuts were loose as I was leaving and quickly realized and turned around. This was early in the morning during a slow Sunday. The absolute worst experience I've ever had with auto service shop. Had the battery replaced in my wife's car at a tire kingdom in Orlando 6months ago, the battery has a 2yr warranty. Car won't start without being jumped (obvious sign the battery is bad). Take it back to Tire Kingdom(this time in Merritt island because we've moved out of Orlando), to have it checked, and replaced assuming that it was bad. I was told "the battery terminals were loose" and the battery was fine. Day and a half later, battery is dead again and the car has to be jumped. I check the battery terminals, they were tight. This time I took it to the Firestone where I normally take my vehicle. Told them the troubles, they tested the battery (which I was told tire kingdom did) battery was bad, had a bad cell, and needed to be replaced. At this point I called the tire kingdom manager and asked him how this was missed, considering I dropped the car off with them for a full day, so they could take their time and test the battery. He talked over me, and when I continued to question him he hung up on me. I've contacted Tire kingdom corporate customer service, it's been 5 days(3business days) sent them the battery testing print out showing it was bad, and I still have not heard back from them. Been coming here for years because I trust their work and they are always honest about what work I need as well as alerting me to when I can expect to need things like spark plug replacements so I can anticipate future costs. When I needed lug nuts, they priced out ones at local parts shops for me and found a great deal which saved me 50% on parts as compared to the highest competitor. Plus, they are super personable and recall who I am so it's like visiting old friends every time I come. If you come in during slow times, you can even get seen right away but otherwise, to save yourself on time, I would plan ahead by calling or booking online. I had to eventually take my car to another location and they complied with my wishes and accomplished the work I set out to do. John the manager is an honest guy that tries hard for customers. Tony is a piece idk work & will screw you over any chance he gets! I got a quote for front brake pads from John. Was 161. 53 for pads & 108 labor. John was out when I called to say go ahead & I talked Tony. When I picked the truck. He had charges me 84 for the pads & 138 for labor. I am out town & John says he will adjust when I get back. The point is that Tony should not be trusted. I am probably going to file a complaint to corporate about his unethical practices read more

I went to get a tire patched that had a screw in it. They said it was very close to the tire wall, and that they might not be able to patch it. A new tire would be $130. I thought, "There it is, their chance to gouge me for $130." They were able to patch the tire, and they didn't charge me for it! I came in for an appointment for an alignment, tire rotation and a tire balance and everything was going smoothly. I sat and waited in the lobby for about 30 minutes only for them to tell me I needed new wheel bearings and it was impossible to do an alignment. Jokes on them because I do my own maintenance and replaced all the bearings with brand new ones less than 3 months prior. Went home to check my bearings and they were fine.
