That was the best service experience I have ever had! The staff was so kind, knowledgeable and fun. They sincerely sought what was best for the customer and never took advantage of me. I went in with a nail in my tire thinking I may need to get four new tires. They patched up my back, recommended I get my front two tires fixed but the back two were not necessary. They had everything finished in under 30 minutes. I will never go anywhere else but here in the future. They are reliable, trustworthy, joyful, hardworking and so kind! These guys treated me absolutely right! I came in with a flat, they diagnosed the issue for me quickly, were professional but super friendly, and when it turned out that I would need to buy a part before having the tire replaced, they gave me the names of several places to check out where I might get a good price. Then they aired up my tires, replaced my spare and sent me on my way. I talked with three different people, and they were each knowledgeable, explained everything to me and patiently answered all my questions, and charged me nothing. Tire Outlet is fantastic. On my first visit I was amazed when, after pulling up, there was immediately a mechanic jacking up the car, taking off the spare, getting the flat out of the trunk, replacing it, and putting it back, all inside of ten minutes. Without exaggeration, I had just enough time to pay inside before coming back out to find my car ready to go. Later I drove over a nail, and when I went back to get a patch the mechanic asked if I bought the tire there. When I told him I had he said there was no charge, and fixed it immediately. Much later, and on a totally different car, I stupidly drove over a curb, bent my rim seriously, and flattened my tire. I went to several tire shops nearer my home, and in one was told that my best bet would be to get a used wheel at a junkyard, because a new one would cost hundreds. I don't know why I didn't go to Tire Outlet first; I pulled in, showed the mechanic what I had done, and he pulled the filthy wheel out of the trunk, bent it back into shape, reseated the tire and put it all back. I asked what the charge was and he said, "nothing, it's no big deal". It was so nice I even wrote them a letter saying so. Tire Outlet makes all other tire shops seem not unlike feces. read more

EVERYONE AT TIRE OUTLET IS NICE, HELPFUL and TRUSTWORTHY. I've been here a few times and I've never gotten better service. Just got 4 new tires today, no one matches their prices or service. They had me in and out in under an hour. Plus they balanced the new tires. The offer free balancing, rotation and plugs (minor repair) as long as you keep your receipt. I highly recommend this shop, especially over the chain stores like tires plus, firestone, tire kingdom, etc. It's located right in front of Publix off main, across from the post office. read more

My first experience with them was April 2016 when I got a flat tire... they took care of me and got me up and running with a used tire for under $50. Since then, I've returned to them and have had 2 new tires put on ($80 each for a Nissan Sentra). Great prices, great service. I'm updating my review because I've had to return to them... the 2016 used tire finally died, in July 2017! I think I definitely got my $50 out of that tire! Robert took care of me, got me two new tires (so now I have a full set of new tires) at the same price ($80 each). I was in and out within an hour. One thing I want to add - NEVER, in all the times coming here, have I felt talked down to or felt like I was treated differently because I was a woman. I love that! I'm so tired of having to "prove" I know about cars when I take my car in for service anywhere. They asked what I needed, I told them what I wanted, they did the work. I mean this is a tire shop, how often a girl goes to a tire shop and feels welcome? How often does anyone go to a tire shop and have a great time!?? Everyone is super friendly and helpful. From the moment I called in to ask for a quote to the moment the car was ready! Besides theirs prices are honestly hard to bit.. I called a few shops before and they were by far the best ones! Giselle the girl at the front desk was amazing and bobby the owner of the place is out their working and providing customer service, he is funny, makes you feel welcome and most importantly makes you come back to them! They stripped three of my lug bolts and I had to get new wheel hubs because of it. When I was cool about it, the manager started talking how it's impossible for his guys to make mistakes. I just wanted new hubs, and I'd do the labor but he refused to do that. Eventually, he was willing to order a cheap part, which was the wrong one, just to get me out of the store. I moved with my life because there isn't an ounce of integrity here. I should've got up and left initially when I saw that same manager taking a picture of a 17 year old in short shorts while she wasn't looking. I'm not sure if they gotren rid of bad reviews but this is the signs of a garbage shop rather than one with a perfect reputation. A $20 balance cost me another $353.10. Just go somewhere else because if they screw up, you'll have to sue to get something fixed. read more

HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!! I drove to the Tire Outlet in Gainsville Florida on Friday, 5/18/18. I had called them earlier and found out that they did have my tire size. They said, "We have your tire size in either a $39 or $49 tire, depending on the quality you want." So when I got there, I explained I needed one $39 or $49 tire for the left front tire. I told the female receptionist/manager that it had been previously patched and that it was leaking and that the whole tire was just inspected by another used tire store, who said that it had a separated band. I told the receptionist that it wobbled badly when it leaked and the pressure went down. She said with a smile, "Well, we'll check that out," and I said, "I know it's bad and that it needs changing." After about 15 minutes wait, the female employee said she needed my keys - that they needed to drive it to put car up in rack, so they could get under and 'insect' the tire or something. (I have never seen this before when changing a tire, because to get a tire off, you can't put it on a rack as the tire is still supporting the car?) After about 40 minutes, a guy next to the female employee in the waiting room, who I think also acted as manager, said to me, "Ok, you're all ready." I asked him, "By ready, do you mean that you've checked out the tire?" He said, "No, the tire has been changed." I asked, "You mean you put the tire on, without letting me inspect the tire or check the tread?!" He merely answered, "We only had one tire that would fit." In a later email to the BBB, this guy said, "This customer was all over his car and the work being performed." This was a complete lie as I never left the waiting room and even saw my car, on the rack or on the ground. So, not only did I not have the ability to check the tire out, I didn't have a choice for a $39 or $49 tire, which they had told me over the phone. So then the female manager and I went out to my car, where a worker was filling up the left front tire with air. He turned to both of us and said, "This tire is low, I had to put 10 lbs in it." "Hmm," I wondered, "Why didn't they fill up the tire to specs before putting it on?" I then bent over and looked at the (supposedly newly installed) tire, for tread, etc. The tire was complete dry, by-the-way, and I have never seen a used tire not checked for leaks by putting in a tub of water. That alone should have been enough for me to look closer at the tire, but I just asked her, "Do you have a guarantee?" She assuredly said, "Yes, a 30-day guarantee. If there's any problem, just bring it back." I said, "Well, I'm driving to Mobile, Alabama today. Is there a Tire Outlet there that I can bring it to if I have any problem?" She said, "Yes, of course." So, I make the 2-hour drive to Mobile, and the tire seemed OK and didn't wobble, because it was filled up with air. I parked the car overnight, and in the morning, the tire was almost flat. I call the female manager, tell her about it, and ask if they have a Tire Outlet there in Mobile. She checks the computer and tells me, "No." And then he says, "My 'GUY' is not here right now. Being this is Friday, if you could call me Monday morning, we could resolve this." After I hang up, I inspect the tire further, and that's when I discover for sure that IT'S THE SAME TIRE I'VE HAD ON THAT CAR FOR MONTHS, THAT THEY NEVER CHANGED IT! That's because I have a black magic marker mark on the rim that marks where a previous patch plug is on the tire and also where the indentation where the belt is separating, that you can easily feel with your hand. And both the plug and separation are exactly where they were! I had been checking these two places at least once every two days for the past month, as I had to fill the tire up with air every 2 or 3 days, because it was leaking. So, I call her Monday morning like she asked, and after I tell her that that's the same tire that was on there, and they never changed it, she continually insists that it was probably a simple mistake, THAT THEY DID PUT A NEW TIRE ON THE CAR, IT WAS PROBABLY ON A DIFFERENT WHEEL!! And she says "We try to help people here!" (I looked just after we hung up and none of the other 3 tires had been changed, and if what she said was true, why was the worker working on and filling up the left-front tire?) After we argue for 3 more minutes, and she finally says, "Give me your name and phone # and when my 'GUY' gets back in 45 minutes, we can resolve this, and we will call you." So, I wait all afternoon, 4 hours, and she doesn't call me back. In fact, I never here from them again, except through the BBB later (and have never received a refund). I am 100% certain that these 2 people at the Tire Outlet consciously were out to scam me. I am good reader peoples' integrity and these 2 people remind me of con men. I only wonder how many others they had victimized. read more

I got a set of tires for my truck from $350 installed. These guys don't rip you off, and they are super fast. The guy that runs the front, Bobby, could do stand up comedy. Time flys by while you wait. These guys don't give fake "buy two get two free" coupons that never seem to have your tires. They also dont give you suprise fees. These are the best people I've ever dealt with when it comes to tires... and I've lived all over the state. I can walk in, get service and be on my way in so little time. I never feel pressured or fear that I'll be barraged with up-sale tactics... and I've only bought used tires from them. It doesn't matter, I get treated just as nicely as a new tire customer. They stand by what's in their stock, I witnessed this when a client of theirs came in with a tire that was patched but picked up another nail in their tire. Last week I went to go fill up my tires at the gas station and found my stem was busted and leaking air. So I went to the Tire Outlet right down the street and they were pretty busy but they got right to me, told me $15 for a fix. After waiting for 30 min as thy helped the customers ahead of me, they fixed the stem in maybe 10 minutes and I was back on the road. Good service, time, and price for a repair on the fly. read more

May 26, 2011, My husband and I were about to embark on a cross country site seeing trip from Gainesville to California. We took our vehicle to our regular mechanic for a complete check up, oil change, etc to be trip ready. He recommended for all 4 tires to be balanced and aligned, but his machine was down. So he recommended Tire Outlet/Cooper Tires 1320 N Main St. We took our vehicle there, and told them of our up-coming trip and our need for the 4 tires to be balanced and aligned. Came back that same day, paid the $101.90 for the service and then left. After coming home from our trip, we took our vehicle back to our regular mechanic for oil change and recheck and he noticed that ALL 4 tires had "flat spots" on them. We then went to a different tire shop for a check on the alignment/balance and that mechanic stated that our 4 tires have not been aligned or balanced in at least the last 2 years. After paying for this service and finding out that NOW we need to REPLACE all 4 tires because of the damage done, we returned to Tire Outlet with the report from the mechanic who stated that the work was not done on MAY 26 that we paid for to their company. They looked at the mechanic report and RELUCTANTLY refunded our money. We told them that now WE have to pay for replacement of ALL 4 tires, something we were trying to avoid PRIOR to our trip by going to THEM to do this service that THEY DID NOT DO!!! BUYER BEWARE---make sure they ACTUALLY DO the work that you pay them to do..... read more

This place is awesome and they deserve proper recognition. If you need new tires or tire repair there is no where else I would go in town. Myself and other family members have been taking our cars here for years and every time it's been great service and pricing. They do it quickly and for less than anyone else nearby and the patches they installed have held up until the tires had to be replaced from old age. They installed new tires for us with long mileage ratings for about 70% of what their competitor priced it at and it was done immediately. The people who work behind the desk, especially Kimberly, are very friendly and from what I can tell always honest. I drive a Tundra and took it to the dealer today (Gatorland) because the tire light came on. The dealer told me that there was a puncture near the sidewall and it couldn't be repaired. They wanted $225 to replace the tire. So I drove down main street and brought it here. They popped off the tire and showed me the nail within the flat part of the tire, fixed it immediately for almost nothing, and in 10 minutes I was on my way. My wife once had a valve stem issue and they fixed it for her for free. Who does that? These people must be from another planet. It doesn't look fancy. It looks dirty and that's probably because they do so much tire work. I believe they would rather give people tires and good service for less than make it look pretty. Bought two new tires and had them mounted without any complaints, but not so happy with the $10 fee I was charged to perform an "align inspection". I asked for a front end alignment, but when they discovered that my ball joint needed to be replaced they charged me a $10 fee and told me that this amount would be applied to the alignment when I brought the car back after I had the ball joint replaced at another shop. I was told that, "no, they couldn't see that the ball joint needed to be replaced when they changed that tire". So did they replaced the tire, then take it off again to inspect the ball joint? I think I'll just take my car to another shop to replace the ball joint AND get the alignment. That $10 will be the last cent Tire Outlet ever gets from me. I'll also make sure to tell my friends, family, and co-workers about this experience, so I hope they spend that $10 wisely! read more

They were the least expensive of all the places that I checked and they did not tty to sell me more than I neefed! Their service is outstanding and the staff is very friendly. You can spend more at the big dollar tire stores if you would like however this place is well worth the money. In the past, I had purchased several tires from this establishment and received excellent customer service. However, the past few times the customer service was less than mediocre. It was today that I was totally disrespected by an individual on the phone as I attempted to make arrangements to purchase a tire and communicate that I was having my vehicle towed there. He told me to "come on with the come on" and "lady, you stalling. You need to make up your mind cuz I got things to do". Let me mention that he was talking to someone else throughout the duration of our brief conversation and kept interrupting me as I spoke. I totally understand the fact that he was busy, but his rudeness was unwarranted and unprofessional. Needless to say, I contacted AAA and had my vehicle towed elsewhere for service. read more
