I was given a list of repairs to complete on my vehicle and I initially declined a transmission flush because my stepfather who is a mechanic in another city advised against it. Alan would not take no for an answer on this. After I expressed concerns multiple times, he assured me his mechanic said this service needed to be done. I hesitantly agreed to this and other repairs totaling $1900. When I picked up my vehicle it was no longer drivable, stalling every time I idled. They said I would have to pay $2500 for transmission repairs to make my vehicle drivable again (which I refused given the vehicle was not worth that much). The very first thing I found on Google is that it is NOT advisable to perform a transmission flush on a vehicle over 100k miles because it will worsen the problem and cause the vehicle to stall (my car had 160k). When I expressed frustration with this I was told my transmission was already shot before they began work and it wasn't their fault. So why did they advise me do nearly 2k worth of repairs knowing my vehicle would likely become completely unusable? Also, Alan was very aggressive, defensive and rude. I had to ask him multiple times not to raise his voice at me since I was not speaking to him that way. Clearly they either do not know the first thing about transmissions OR they maliciously did this flush in order to require me to pay an additional $2500 to get my vehicle working again. They did refund only the cost of the transmission flush but I am still out $1600 and have a car worth less than 1k after their service. I have been advised I could take them to court over this but decided I need the peace of just being done with this situation. Please don't trust these people with your vehicle!

My wife brought her 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 with approximately 53,000 miles to Euro Car after the check engine light came on and the vehicle began experiencing poor acceleration. The diagnostic codes were P030085 (misfire) and P030485. We were told that Cylinder 1 had lost compression and that the vehicle would require an entire engine replacement at a cost of approximately $12,000. We also asked whether Euro Car had a loaner vehicle available during the time our vehicle was at their shop. We were told they did not. However, we later learned that this was not accurate, as the person who referred us to Euro Car had apparently just returned a loaner vehicle from the same company. What concerns me most is how this situation was handled. Mercedes-Benz has acknowledged significant issues involving cylinder heads on certain vehicles and extended warranty coverage for qualifying repairs. Rather than advising us to take the vehicle to a Mercedes-Benz dealership to determine whether the repair was covered, Euro Car proceeded to recommend a $12,000 engine replacement. I personally called Euro Car and asked about the Mercedes-Benz warranty coverage. I was told that our vehicle did not qualify and that someone would call me back after they had an opportunity to look further into the matter because they were busy. We never received that call. After doing our own research, we discovered that Mercedes-Benz would, in fact, repair the vehicle under the factory warranty. I immediately contacted Euro Car and arranged to have the vehicle picked up and towed to Mercedes-Benz of Grapevine. The tow alone cost us $320. To make matters worse, Euro Car still charged us a $225 diagnostic fee, despite the fact that the diagnosis they provided led us to believe that we needed a $12,000 engine replacement when the vehicle ultimately qualified for a warranty repair (New Cylinder head) through Mercedes-Benz. Based on our experience, I have serious concerns about the transparency and honesty of this business. I would strongly recommend that anyone taking a Mercedes-Benz to Euro Car get a second opinion directly from an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership before agreeing to any major repairs. I personally would not trust Euro Car with my vehicle again.

I had an interesting experience. Let me tell you about it. I called and asked if, I could drop off my SUV. He said, they are already full. He offered to get me in at 8am or in the afternoon the next day. I said, I'd be there in the afternoon. I went up there and he said, they were full, then another guy said , they were full too. So, that left me w the impression they didn't want to do it that day. I decided, I wouldn't push it but, I did let one of the guys know. He told me to come back at 3ish. I did and he wasn't there but the other guy took care of it. There was one other car ahead of me and then he said , he would get to my vehicle and it would take 45m. He timed it perfectly. I was thankful about his honesty regarding wait time and completing the Oil Change in 45. The waiting room is small with a few chairs inside and is not that cool. It may be because it's a window ac. Also,They have not paid their Netflix account so, you can't watch Netflix but they have Tubi and Roku. There was a Nigerian lady talking on speaker phone and another guy complaining about how he should have been informed about the services before being charged. I agree w him. I brought it to the service advisor's attention that, I may not need an Oil change. I just assumed so because, my maintenance light was on. He said, he would check it . I expected him to explain why it needed to be changed or show me but, he didn't? He changed it and I found out, it didn't need to be changed. My oil is changed every 10k miles. I didn't receive a receipt either. I don't know what kind of oil was used, how many qts were used. He also removed my oil reminder stickers wo asking. I wanted those for my records. He also, messed with my dimmer knob so my Control Panel was dim. Ugg, so uncomfortable. The Service Advisor was knowledgeable with Groupon too that's a plus. Their Internet was slow so, I had to go outside to redeem by Groupon. Also, the parking lot is pretty full so space can be tight. The music is cranked up load in the shop too. So, if your ok with this type of atmosphere come here. If, not look elsewhere.

My Audi A4 had gotten to the point where it sounded like it was ready to fall apart. I had previously taken it to the dealership and was quoted over $1,500 to replace my left wheel bearing. Because I simply wasn't in a position to spend thousands of dollars on a repair right now, I had tried going another route with a mobile mechanic--and unfortunately ended up getting ripped off in the process. Needless to say, by the time I came to NRH Auto, I was frustrated and honestly a little apprehensive about trusting another mechanic. When I arrived, I spoke with one of the owner's sons. He took the time to look up the part and put together a quote for the repair. The initial amount was still a little outside of what I could comfortably afford, so I simply asked if there was anything they could do to work with me. And they did. They were able to get my repair done for about half of what the dealership had quoted me, and there was no sacrificing the level of service. My car was completed in approximately 2 1/2 hours, and they even dropped me off at my home nearby and picked me back up when my car was ready. What stood out to me most was how I was treated. I never felt pressured, taken advantage of, or like they were trying to add unnecessary repairs. They listened, worked with me, and got the job done. After dealing with a dealership quote I couldn't afford and then being taken advantage of by someone else, I think I've finally found an honest, skilled, and reasonably priced mechanic shop that I can trust with my Audi A4.
