Great experience at the Take 5 on Bedford (Central Dr). The team was quick, professional, and made sure the service I requested for my truck was handled correctly. Everything was explained clearly and the process was very efficient. Manager Ailey really stood out with her customer service. While I was waiting she made sure I was comfortable and even offered snacks and drinks, which was a really nice touch. Toward the end I realized I needed to replace my wiper blades as well. Unfortunately I had already bought some from AutoZone earlier, but they still took the time to talk through it with me and make sure everything else on the truck was good to go. I came here today to get an oil change for my car and liked the idea that I could sit in the car while my car was getting serviced. I parked in the lot and waited for an attendant. He came over within a few minutes and even offered me a bottle of water! Then I was sent to one of the bays for service. It was a team of probably 4 guys working on the car and they checked everything from the coolant, the wiper blades, and even the air filters! The team on the receipt was Jesse (Hood/MOD), Gage (Pit), Randal (Safety), Jimmy (Service) The price was on the same level as what the local dealership would charge and they also had a $10 off coupon on their website. It came to about $86 I think (high mileage oil change). They were fast and efficient and very friendl. I felt like my car was in good hands. Thanks guys! read more

Terrible service. Promised me I was next for emission test. 30 min go by - nada. Finally I ask what's happening and find out *emissions guy left so you will have to come back later.". I actually enjoyed my time here, so there you go. It didn't take 5 minutes, haha, but I did more than just an oil change. I like that you get to stay in your car the whole time. I never got up or out of my car,just pulled right into the space as directed, and worked on my laptop while my car was spruced up. The two guys who helped me out were kind and funny (Kam and Keyshawn). Competitive prices, big bright clean garage, no need to go sit in some tiny little waiting room. I was promptly directed into a bay, there were two other cars in the other bays. I sat in my car, because that's what you do at Take 5. This is a bad business model in the summer in Texas. It was 100 degrees and I sat in my car for 10 minutes. I watched as the four or five employees had a great time laughing and joking with each other. They never approached my car so I got ones attention and let him know I was leaving. He got a different employee to direct me out. He didn't try to get me to stay, or tell me they were about to get to me. I should have looked at the reviews before I wasted my time there. So I got a response from take 5 someone left me a name and number to call. I called someone put me on hold. It went to her voicemail and the voicemail said her mailbox was full so I think I see the problem if the person in charge can't take the time to fix it where you can leave her a message and she also probably won't fix people sitting in their hot cars. read more

Waited 15 minutes after being told turn off the engine. So, no AC. I asked about keeping the motor on until they started but they said they were starting right away. They didn't. Tech recommended the $90 service, not the $55 I asked for. She explained that was only for people performing an "engine flush" before they fill it back up with the $90 service. They told me my truck didn't qualify for the $55 service despite having a replaced engine. I left after 30 minutes deciding to take my business elsewhere. read more

Take 5 Oil Change Bedford. HUGE RIP OFF. Pulled in and waited over 40 minutes. I had a coupon for $25 off any oil change. I requested Mobil 1 oil. When complete AND after my $25.00 Coupon, my total was $151.81. This is over $30.00 higher than my Toyota Dealership and the dealership rotates my tires. The wait was long and the oil change was basic. No air filter replacement, additional fluids etc. Absolutely shocked. Lesson learned.... Will never return. read more

Had my oil changed here. After being parked for 30 min at work I returned to notice an 8" patch of oil under the car. Called to ask if I should bring it back and couldn't get an answer. Drove back and they checked it out citing spillage from the oil change. This should've been cleaned up the first time. Got home and the oil leak is evident. 1/2 quart low after a 20 minute drive. Took it to the Take 5 in Roanoke and they discovered that the drain plug was loose and leaking oil. They took care of me. read more

The reason I am listing all is because ever since one of them had great customer service and was all very friendly. They took great care of my boyfriend's truck! Don't recommend anyone to take their vehicle to Take 5, they will try to take money more than you have to pay. Asked for a basic oil change, they tried to argue with me that my vehicle needs to take full synthetic oil $89.99. I pay half the price at Valvoline and never have a problem with them...so strongly recommend Valvoline instead. read more

I go to this location for all my oil changes and have never had a bad experience. I usually go first thing in the morning, and they are able to get me in and out quickly. The staff is informative, but never pushy when discussing any additional services. They always ask and offer coupons when available (as a woman that doesn't know much about cars I really appreciate this!) Daniel and another staff member took care of me last time and had me in and out in 12 minutes. read more

While their oil change is quick, it's more expensive that most. The worst part of this place is the state inspection. I've had two cars and multiple attempts trying to get my vehicles to pass with Take 5. Only to have them fail over this most anal and ridiculous nit picky things. The team here is incredibly customer forward and doesn't try to get pushy with the up sales - all straight shooters. Their prices may be a little higher than others, but from what I've seen we're taking a couple of dollars at the most. We went to get my girlfriends car inspected today, Sunday the 10th, 2021 and of course this day was the one of the first of the winter where the weather people make a huge deal about winter storms and dropping temps and such. It was cold. It was windy and it was drizzling and some snow flurries were falling. Temperature was around 34 maybe 37. But that was it for our first big winter storm warning day...This all has a point, I'm about explain. We pull up into the service drive and after a minute or two, an employee comes out. Didn't get his name, but he was around 5'6" shaggy hair, darker complexion like he was from India or that region and asks the girlfriend what he could help her with. She tells him she needs an inspection. I arrive after a second to hear him tell her that inspections today were not available because it was raining.... I begin to laugh and said let's go. I used to do car inspections back in the day and the only time in Texas a vehicle inspection can't be done is when there is ice on the street. That's it. Any other time is fine. So, obviously if he,or they will lie about that to get out of doing something or being honest about their other services( oil change, trans fluid changes,batteries. Or maybe even if they make a mistake and damage someone's vehicle leads you to wonder how HONEST they would be? If they will lie about small stuff, then they will lie about the big things and a business is built and maintained upon its reputation. This ruined any chance of us ever using this business for anything and I'll be sure to spread the word about this places deception about not being able to do things during the rain....I'd say stay clear if you value your money and vehicle. Especially the ladies....This is what gives auto repair places a bad name for taking advantage or lying to females.... read more

Went to Take 5 today for an oil change and state inspection. They have great, fast, friendly service and their employees wear masks. I'm very appreciative of that and the great customer service. They went above and beyond to make sure they did a good job and even brought the credit card machine out to us so we didn't have to go inside and be around other people as we are high risk for Covid. I take all my personal cars and work car to this place for oil changes and inspections. The place does a great job at a fair price. I take really good care of my cars, so I enjoy them not making you feel like your car just barely made it into the place and needs a ton of unnecessary work. They are just an honest shop that honestly performs the services they advertise at a fair price. Rushed to get to Take 5 in Bedford on Central Drive before they closed today at 4pm. I got there at 3:43pm and the garage was closed with 2 workers inside. One of them saw me pull up and gave signal they were closed. I held up number 4 questioning why they were already closed. The Manager, Elvis, came out and said they haven't had any customers for over an hour and were closing early. I asked him if they could change my oil since they are open to 4pm and he said no, they are already closed. I told them that wasn't right and he said that they are closed again. I understand if I pulled up at 3:58p, but they should have serviced my car - they would have still been done by 4pm and apparently they need the business. Well, they won't get mine or my family's any longer. read more

my husband and i came here on a whim after seeing that one tires pressure was weirdly low. we pulled up and asked if he (Ryan) could fill it up. he says yes. we pull up and he lets us know there's a nail in that tire and another one! they were busy and he was so kind to get us in and take care of us AND to let us know what was in the tire. this was a friday, so he gave us some recommendations of places that could change it on a saturday. so nice! will definitely be back for ryan. read more

We would not recommend this business. The technician required the purchase of a new wiper blade because there was one streak during the inspection. My husband brought it home, cleaned the blade with a paper towel, and it was resolved. Ridiculous. They may have forced the sale of a $12 wiper blade, but they lost our business. read more
