I originally went to my normal repair shop to get some tires installed and he was swamped. I tool off a day of work to take care of a few chores and didn't have time to come back. I googled tires shops near me and this one popped up. I called and was greeted professionally and told to come in about 30 mins. At the front desk Quder ( apologies if spelled it wrong) greeted me and was very friendly. I asked if he could mount and balance tires that I personally had brought and took care of it no problem. The young guys took it and was done in about 30 mins. Gave me great price and could be happier. I might have found my new favorite tire shop locally. Very pleased with the overall experience. I had an excellent experience with Tire Tech service on 357 Ramapo Valley Road, Oakland. The team was organized, communicative, and thorough throughout the entire process. I had an appointment for my 2013 Ford Flex at 9am I arrived at 845 am they took my vehicle into the bay. My service was the following oil change and with oil that specification by Ford. A four tire alignment, balanced both front tires, and repaired rear tire for a leak. The work was completed on schedule, the pricing was transparent, and the vehicle was returned in great condition. If I could give this business a negative 1 start I most definitely would. Called in on a Monday for an appointment on Wednesday. Clarified my time is very important as well as theirs they assured me it wasn't an issue at all as long as I left the car there for them it will get done that day. What happens next? You guessed it! They call me at 4:30 at the end of the work day to tell me they cannot get to it today. And now? I would most definitely not recommend them even to my absolute worst enemy. My tires only had 4000 thousand miles on them so the back tires still had the rubber nubbies on them the front didn't when I looked at tires when I got home I look at tires the nubbies ones were still on the back. So they didn't even take my tires off and I am sure the probably didn't do my wheel alignment either. Saved my life! I'm a 70-ish woman. I was driving from Beacon, NY to MD when both left tires blew out on impact. I was hysterical to a whole new level. AAA towed me here for new tires. I sat for hours, which is what the cosmic universe knew I needed, because Qadeer turned out to be the calming, caring influence I needed to get me back on the road. I needed all new tires, and lug nuts. He spoke with my husband, who thinks I'm a bit of an airhead when it comes to cars and mechanics, and the bottom line was that Qadeer was not willing to compromise my safety when putting me back on the road. I sat in the waiting area for a few hours, but it was the calming time I needed from a frightening experience, and Qadeer and I spoke about many topics which led me to a peaceful place when I was back on the road. Came back in a couple days later with another flat tire and they fixed it within a half an hour, no appointment or anything. All of the staff is very friendly and willing to help you with whatever you need. Being a young women i've found some mechanics to be very rude for me not knowing things about my car, but here I trust i can come in by myself and they will help me generously and answer all of my questions truthfully. I wanted to replace the tires on my rims that I had. The whole set was getting very bald and dangerous in the winter especially with RWD. I got the wheels through Walmart and was calling around to see the best prices I could get for mounting the 4 tires. I called 5 places and Tire Tech Auto Repair came to the rescue when they agreed to price match another shop I called and was able to fit me in on the day I called. I rushed over with the set in my vehicle and got the car ready for them to work their magic. The service area itself was chaos. The front serves as a gas station and I had no idea where to park. I double parked in the side but they share the lot with Optimum and I was ordered to leave or I'd get towed. I asked the gas attendant but he didn't speak English. I parked in the lot next to it and walked my way into the office they had. I spoke to them and told them where I parked and that is where they usually leave the vehicles to grab and leave when done. I talked to Sam I believe and I gave the keys to the other front desk attendant and they took it from there. To be honest I did not have any confidence whatsoever for the safety of my vehicle when I gave the keys over. Racing through my mind was how I wasn't able to watch them work on my car and anything could happen. An hour later after I left I got a call to pick the car up from the lot. I arrived swiftly and paid my fee. I ran over to see my car and her new shoes where fitted and looked awesome! The car was in perfectly fine shape and they also got rid of my old tires for me as well. This experience was a risky decision in my opinion but I was extremely grateful my car was in good hands and was returned to me with no issues. I plan on going there in the future if I have any tire or wheel needs. I hope my review helps! read more

First of all, the work done on my car has held up so far. But the time that it took for the work to be completed was not satisfactory. I dropped the car off and gave the mechanics at Tire Tech 5 days to diagnose and repair the issues on my car. After calling on the third day, I was told the car had not been on the lift yet and that I needed new tires. I already knew this because I told Tire Tech I needed new tires. What I was looking for was a complete check of the front end of the vehicle and I was told upon dropping off the car that this would be done. Even after making this call, I still was not contacted by Tire Tech to tell me what was wrong with the car. I called again after the 5 days that I had asked for my repair work to be completed had expired and was told that a budget was being done up for my repairs. After consenting to the repairs I was told the car would be ready in one day. Again, it took nearly four days to get all the repairs done. Granted, the repairs were extensive but I was told one thing and then experienced another. Each excuse that I got was that they are really busy. After paying a considerable amount of money I was handed the keys to my car. As a final display of Tire Tech's troubles, I was told my car was in the parking lot. I checked the parking lot and my car was not there. After questioning a few employees, Tire Tech located my car. I believe that this company merged with CDR in Oakland, which is a shame because CDR always did business very professionally.
