Awful and Incompetent Service I spent several hundred to have my brakes repaired at this location and whenever I go above 50 miles per hour my car rattles and shudders. This condition only happened after I had this location work on my brakes. I brought it back to this location and was told that there was nothing wrong with my brakes and they had done their job. On my way to NJ to visit my family, I hit a huge pot hole, resulting in a flat tire. I had just purchased 4 new tires in January in CT, where I reside. Goodyear was able to quickly locate my history with my phone number, and honor my warranty. On their inspection, they found a bubble on my other tire too. I needed two new tires from the incident and a wheel alignment. With my warranty and previous package purchase for alignments, it only cost me $97.00. Was having issues with one of my tires and got the run around from T*re R**k which then lead me to call several Goodyear dealers and basically get nowhere. One mentioned I should try this location in Englewood and am glad I did. I had an appointment but arrived almost 30 minutes early but was taken right in and they got to work. Paul spend a bit of time with me talking through my issue then proceeded to check then balance all 4 tires for me. I was expecting to possibly be buying at least one new one as I thought the belts had worn unevenly but that was not the case. The guys working here have 2 speeds. Slow & stop. While the staff was pleasant and the waiting room is super clean with a flat screen, comfortable chairs and free beverages, it took waaaaay too long. One hour and twenty minutes to change 4 tires? And that's with an appointment? Cmon now. No wonder the waiting room chairs are so plush. They did try to scare me into replacing my front breaks. I came to this location after another flat tire replacement (yes, if you know me, another one. ) This Goodyear was the closest location from my Mid Hudson residential property (yes, Goodyear , you need a corporate location, not the private ones which were useless to me, in Westchester/Fairfield county, Ct, Dutchess, etc) so I went to Englewood Cliffs for new tire. I love these guys. I may call and they may tell me it'll take all day to service my car but that's never the case. They under promise and over deliver. I go there all ready to work on my computer all day and before I know it they're done. The place is clean and comfortable to do work in and they have parking. Worst service ever, starting from a phone call about my tires that worn up and it is in the warranty ( only 35.000 miles) under 2 years. The man on the phone weren't able to listen as soon as I mentioned warranty the BS started, he said I didn't do allignment or balancing or rotation in the 2 years so no warranty. I live in Queens so I told him I did alignments two time and I always do tire rotation when I make the oil change but in Queens because I won't drive all the way to Jersey to rotate tires. So it ended up I drove to Jersey they checked the car and the insist on no warrenty and they were very rude so I ended up paying $400 to change 2 tires and alignments. As soon as I crossed the bridge to New york I noticed the wheel are crocket so I went to the mechanic in New york to discover that they never did an alignment and the tires need to be balanced. I spend $400 for nothing, I will never go back to this Place and am processing now a consumer affair report. Don't get fooled by the warranty they will never process it they will charge you. Other than basic stuff, stay away. Don't be fooled by their older/innocent demeanor. They make 10% of all sales as a bonus. They'll price repair jobs and parts at whatever price they can get away with - they will gouge you. If you must do a repair with them check the web and negotiate the prices down. Assume their repair staff is a bunch of fools with tools that are not certified or know what they are doing. These mechanics come and go so check your car and their work when you get it back. One of their guys pulled my spare tire tools and broke the latch and just threw everything back in their. Another guy didn't screw back on my under belly shield - that was $350 to replace. The only reason I go here is for pure convenience. This place is right across the street from my job so its easy to drop my car off for an oil change while I go to work. The guys that work there are nice. It takes a good 5+ minutes to check-in and get everything situated even with an "online appointment". I may just stop making online appts cuz it doesn't seem to save any time. Plus there's no way to save your car's info, so every f'ing time I get asked the same questions: Make, Model, Year, Milage of my car, just to get asked the same questions in the store. As a fellow yelper previously stated, they are a little sheisty. In the beginning they would call me every time saying I needed to get my tires rotated or brake pads replaced, but now that they know me they don't pull that crap anymore. But I would assume a lot of auto body shops are like that, no? I would recommend this place if you work nearby like I do. After reading several comments from people stating that they had scratched rims, I came to my car to check my own and noticed that mine had bad scratches as well. Initially, it seemed liked they were good bc the customer service was good. I paid $55 for them to plug the tire. I should have gone to my dealership but this was the closest place. This place is a total scam joint. They blatantly lied to me and way overcharged me, selling me completely different tires than I had agreed to purchase over the phone. When I initially called the store I was told that I should by a certain more expensive tire because they were offering a buy three get one free deal. I agreed and then (after they'd been installed and I had already paid the bill) I was looking over my receipt to get my rebate (which is a nightmare of paperwork again designed to make the customer give up so the company does not have to payout the rebate) I noticed that the name of the tires was different than the name we discussed and the price when multiplied by four was the exact charge for the tires. I called and was told no such offer even existed. It is partially my fault for trusting them and not checking my receipt and the tires more closely before paying my bill, but that does not excuse their intentionally dishonest sales tactics, BEWARE. do not trust a single thing they tell you regarding the price of the tires. I had a flat tire and was driving on a doughnut so I did not have the luxury of shopping around for tires. Like an idiot, I told them this and they took full advantage of my situation. I was charged far more than the original quote, do to an alignment they said I needed which I now doubt, and the fact that I paid for four tires and not three. They also put cheaper tires on my car than I had agreed to purchase. So I spent WAY more money and got less for it. They also told me my oil change would be $25 and it was $45. They did call to report the price change but at that point who is going to cancel service over $20, now I realize it was intentional. They were so nice too, I am disgusted. read more

Two weeks ago I went here for an oil change and tire rotation. I decided to mark my tire to make sure the rotation was done. Well... The same mark was on the same tire which wasn't moved. So of course I said something and they just said it was a mix up and they did the rotation. Ok fine. So today my girlfriend needed the same service... So I marked her tire.... Yup .. Called them when I had a flat tire since I had a Goodyear tire on my car- they told me they would take me to fix the flat without an appointment but if the tire needed to be replaced it would have to be ordered from the warehouse. The tire had a large bolt in it, and I was skeptical that the flat could be fixed and I was fine to replace the tire. BTW i have Goodyear run flat tires on a 2018 Audi Q7. They fixed the flat for free since under warranty. I drove away but the tire went flat again after 15 miles, not from the hole, but the beading on the tire was disturbed where it meets the rim and air was leaking. They took me back again and said the tire had to be replaced - the manager had actually ordered the tire from the warehouse on my first visit just in case they could not fix the flat. It was a hassle dealing with this, but they were very nice, courteous and quick the whole time. read more

These guys changed a tire on my truck and later that day I heard and felt an ominous rattling going down the road so we pull over. Upon inspection the lug nuts were all loose to the point they could be turned by hand! Had we not noticed the tire would've fell right off the car which could have been fatal at highway speed. On August 3rd I went to Goodyear due to a loud noise in the rare of my car. I entered in the parking lot, parked and remained in my car to call my husband to let him know I had arrived. While sitting in the car a gentleman knocked on my window I'm unsure what his name was. When I cracked my window he asked "what do you need". I was startled so I said I think I need someone to look at my car due to a noise. He immediately asked for my keys, I didnt understand why. Normally when I go to any mechanic shop I go inside they advise a price to look the car over and I than give someone my keys inside, who then has someone look at it. I asked if he could give me a minute. I felt uncomfortable, i asked my husband what he thought and he told me not to and to go inside. Still feeling unsettled and going back and forth with my husband I decided to leave because I felt like due to be being a women the gentleman preyed on me and saw an opportunity to take advantage of the situation. The place itself is the nicest place I've had my oil changed, very large, clean, big screen tv, Keurig coffee maker, refrigerator with bottled water for customers to enjoy while they wait for their car to be serviced. I went to Goodyear originally to get my oil changed. That issue was solved. Then I was told my tires were not aligned and that my entire back brakes needed to be replaced included pads and rotors. The car is fairly new and I have not used the car in sometime because of living in Manhattan so I was a bit weary, especially to have worn down all the way to the rotors. So its been 4 years since my boyfriend posted his review about this place but nothing has changed !!! I went there today to get an oil change and tire rotation....and yes....I marked my tires....and sure enough....my tires were NOT rotated. They took my car in for an oil change and barely 10 minutes later my car was ready. I even questioned..."wow that was fast...are you sure they rotated the tires" They assured me.."yes definitely Mike is just really fast" .....yup Mike is fast alright....because he didn't complete the entire service I came in for. I went out to my car and just as I thought that big green X I placed on my back tire was still there...on the back tire - NOT rotated. I walked right back in and asked for the manager....SAME guy - When I told him what happened he was stunned - BARELY apologetic and says..."well I dont see what my guys do"......REALLY??
