Went here on August 26th 2023 to purchase a tire for our 5th wheel trailer, as we had a tire pop on the thruway and had to use the spare and put it on the trailer. First my dad called to make sure that they had the tire in stock. (as we were already in our campground in South Hero,VT) They did, and we immediately drove down to pick up the tire. The person at the front desk was very friendly, and helped us right away. They did take time to find the tire in the back, but once they found it, it made my dad happy. The price was about $400.00 for the tire. which isn't bad for a tire for a 5th wheel, probably could have been worse. Went in this morning after getting a notification I had a flat. Put the spare on and drive over for a day of appt. . They weren't sure they could patch it but said they would look at it. Luck for me it wasn't as bad as they thought. Tire fixed back on and spare back under my truck in all of 35 minutes. Im so impressed with the service I received yesterday at Tire Warehouse in Williston. I brought my RAV4 in for a change of rotors and pads which I brought in. They ended up being the wrong parts. The manager went out of her way to get me the correct parts and get me and my car on my way. They were friendly and courteous. The best price I found anywhere. Worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Don't send tires here from Amazon. The employees will take them for themselves

I purchase 4 new tire there and have them to change it. I have wait for around 2 hours, when the car is done. Once I get into the car, l find out my e brakes is not working which is working good before getting into their shop. I ask the technician right away and tell them and show them the e brake is not working anymore. They don't really care and keep saying is my brake broken. Ask me to bring back to the shop to fix it. I was so angry about their attitude. After all they call the police and try to kick me out from the shop. I call their brand manager and the manager also doesn't want to take any responsibility. I go back to the dealer and find out what happened to my e brake. The e brake has no problem at all. When they lift up my car to change the tires, they detach my cable of the e brake. I report back to their branch manager and have no response from them. What a bad bad business practice!! Worse customer service and worst business. I went with a slow leak in my tire from a nail. They said they couldn't plug it and suggested I could buy a full set of new tires since they didn't carry the particular tire I had (my set was about 6 months old and when I laughed at this premature recommendation they admitted I didn't truly need a new set). The manager said they could put my donut on but the mechanic and I agreed since my leaky tire still held air for a few days that was the smarter option so I could drive somewhere else. I have been a customer at this location for over a decade and had an experience today that will have me servicing my car elsewhere. I had an appointment for for an oil change and tire change over. These services took 45-60 minutes longer than usual and my maintenance light was not reset (I figured that out on my own). The tire change over was over $100 which is $40 more than Townfair Tire, (about 1/3 mile away). I have been treated well and given a discount at this location in the past when the service took longer than anticipated, but not today. The new manager and staff seem nice, but given the significantly greater cost and slower service, I will be going elsewhere in the future. We had a good run. read more

When I got out of work, my front passenger wheel was completely deflated. I was luckily able to have a co-worker blow it up and drive over to Tire Warehouse. I worked extra overtime until as late in the evening and they close at 7 and I got their past 6 I needed to replace my two front tires have an alignment and have insulation. They were able to help me out because I was kind of in a bind financially I had my 6 month old baby and I need to get home to my other kids, they understood the sense of urgency. They were all done within an hour and everything cost just about round $300 with military discount. The customer service was phenomenal, they were very welcoming and very professional. I was pleasantly surprised and they were upfront they weren't trying to get money out of me they just for trying to help me out and I appreciated it. I would recommend anybody to go there. I know that big stigma is that you're going to get reaped over the coals from a mechanic but they didn't do that to me and I appreciate that. I'll be going back again for sure! read more

At one point, I was happy with this business. Earlier this summer, they quoted me one fee and I was charged another. They (TireWarehouse, various departments of Monro etc) admit that there was a mistake, but they say they have no ability to refund it. I don't recommend this business at all. I brought my vehicle to Tire warehouse and they added things that were optional to the bill without informing my wife that they were optional. Sneaky and just downright bad business. To make matters worse, when I called to inquire about these charges the staff became rude, aggressive and combative. Bring your vehicle elsewhere or watch for "optionial" charges on your bill that they decided you wanted without asking you! read more

Avoid. They will try to upsell you. I came in for a Vermont inspection on a nearly new car. They told me that I needed all new tires, despite having the treads only halfway down to the wear bars. Then they told me that I needed all new breaks because they were "full of scratch marks." I took the car to a real mechanic who said that the tires and breaks were fine, and all breaks get scratch marks once you start using them. That's what happens when metal presses to metal. It passed the mechanic's inspection without any problems. Again, they will make up repair problems. read more

I stopped in during prime tire-change over season driving on a donut. They squeezed me in and had me out the door in one hour! I had already stopped at or called three other places. Price was a little steep for a tire swap, but it was the only day I could get the tires in my car (no kiddo that day=no car seat) for another two weeks. They made this pregnant mom very happy. I've been going there for years, and they found out recently that a former employee either made a mistake or did something shady (hard to know; he doesn't work there anymore) over two years ago. 1 Ordered tires through Amazon and chose to have them delivered to tire warehouse in Williston, VT for installation (which was paid for on Amazon). Arrived there and no one came into service office for over 10 minutes. After I said that the tires were delivered there, the person (Chad) automatically replied Amazon. I then got asked if or confirmation. I brought up the confirmation text that I had received as to my appointment. I again got told I needed confirmation. No explanation of exactly what he eas considering confirmation. The next time he asked. I deeply exhaled, and "Chad" told me if I didn't like it I could take my tire installation elsewhere as he didn't like my attitude. . I told him that i eas frustrated with trying to find exactly what he needed and i was looking for him to have some patience. and I certainly didn't like his attitude. I got more attitude to include being told whatever. The person that did the actual tires was present. I will never go there or recommend anyone go there. read more

A friend's experience: I called City Tire and described the noise my car was making. We thought it might be a wheel bearing. They said "bring it in for a test drive". (Friend's husband took the car in.) They said "Your sway bars need to be replaced". We paid for new sway bars and rotated tires. I went to pick up my car. Before I got out of the parking lot it was making MORE noise than before PLUS a flapping noise. I took it immediately back and complained. They said "You didn't specifically tell us that you wanted us to test drive it, so we didn't". THEY NEVER DROVE MY CAR. Their response to her (ahem) strong response: They said that due to "INSURANCE ISSUES" they will never test drive a car without the owner specifically asking for it. My daughter had a damaged tire on her all wheel drive vehicle. Another dealer told us the tire could not be repaired and that we would need to replace all 4. After getting 3 quotes we selected city tire for 4 all new all-season tires. We dropped it off overnight and were pleased and shocked the next day when they called us to inform us that they could fix the damaged tire, saving us over $500! That's honesty! Went to the location and was told by the surly desk people that the online registration "doesn't reflect the availability of appointment at our store" and when I asked why their didn't answer the phone when I called, I was told "we had so many calls over the last two days that it broke our phone". Been bringing all of my cars here for service for over 15 years. Super busy so best to make an appointment. These guys are honest and after being burned by some other local establishments I will NOT go anywhere else. They don't pad the bill, they don't rip you off adding unnecessary work to your vehicle. They diagnose and let you know exactly what needs to be done and are very accurate and fair with estimates. Very reasonable prices and very knowledgable staff. read more

We were so impressed that they happily could repair our daughter's tire for $20 when they knew we were quoted $500 by another tire shop that said it was not repairable! Went In for an alignment and tire rotation. No issues or complaints.

Avoid this Tire Warehouse at all costs. We ordered tires, all 4 were delivered, confirmed by their team, confirmed by FedEx, but they couldn't schedule for two months. During that time one of the tires went missing. They confirmed our appointment the day before, no mention of the missing tire. They then called the morning of to cancel and lie, "we never received the tire". We had to follow up constantly on their progress getting a replacement, continuing to shift schedule appointments with us. When I finally went the store, it was empty of customers. Additionally, there was a considerable amount of inappropriate language from the shop (I work in construction) including hearing myself described with some terms, including one of the shop tech who had the audacity to make comments in the customer space. I just wanted my tires, the extracurriculars from this place left me speechless. I reached out multiple times to touch base with a regional manager, who never returned my calls. They set a precedent of unprofessionalism and a major cost of inconvenience for myself. Consider any other tire service. read more

I had a very good experience for the first time going to Tire Warehouse Tires and Service. I had slow leaks in 2 tires on my truck. They were able to take a look right away. They removed the tires checked for nails, punctures and found none. They cleaned and resealed both tires for me and did not charge me. I will certainly go back here with all my tire needs. Been going to City Tire now for almost a year and these guys run a solid business and they know how to treat their customers. A refreshing change from some of the other chains in the area (such as Oil N Go). Ive not bought 2 sets of tires from Michael and the guys at City Tire and have also taken both of my vehicles in for service with them several times. What prompted me to write this review was my recent visit I had some tune-up work done, tires balanced and exhaust welding...and they considered it just part of their overall package by giving me preferred customer pricing. They also have a special where every 5th oil change is free. These guys will shoot you straight, won't nickle and dime you, and know how to engender customer loyalty. I am a big fan. read more

My first experience with this garage was over a wheel bearing. I could hear a noise, but they didn't, and they didn't charge me. When it got loud enough, they did find it, fixed it up, no problem. Then I had my oil changed. I drive a VW, and it's gotta be 100% synthetic. (1.8L Turbo) Had another garage change the oil. Someone in the process of all this broke the seal that holds the oil pan plug. I brought it back, and they replaced my oil pan for the cost of parts only. There was no evidence that City Tire was at fault, and they very well could have taken that stance and charged me full price. But they didn't. read more

I brought my vehicle in to have a basic alignment done. A process that shouldn't take much more than half an hour. At the arrival of my appointment, it was to my surprise that the business had changed hands recently. The initial customer service was quite friendly, and they seemed to know what they were doing. However - after around 45 minutes of waiting. A man brings my car out to the parking lot in which I was not sitting far away from, who seemed to be the one who supposedly did work on my car. He proceeded to walk directly past me without saying a word and went back into the store. Besides the interaction (or lack-there-of) being slightly rude, it made me a little curious. Most mechanics would want to talk to me about how off-center my tires were, or mention the various other noises that are wrong with my car. After going inside and paying a little over $104 (which is a price I would certainly not consider reasonable for an alignment by any means), I got into my car and it still felt kind of off. After driving for about 15 minutes, I pulled off and gave them a call back. I asked for the degrees at which my tires were prior to me bringing my car in - and what they were able to get them too. They gave me some numbers that sounded fairly legitimate, and provided a couple reasons I may still be experiencing some issues. Well, now almost 2 weeks later, things were still terrible, so I had my local TRUSTWORTHY mechanic that I go to most things for take a look at my car up on his lift, and he informed me that there had been no alignment done - or at least nothing further than someone with steel-toe boots kicking my tires into place. This is extremely frustrating as I paid $104 for nothing! PLUS - when I called them to say that I was upset about them not doing anything, the man interrupted me and asked for my name, and after I gave it to him, he HUNG UP on me. Clearly this a group of lazy and sleezy mechanics who only desire to take your money, and have no regard for what being a decent mechanic means. I would never-ever suggest that anyone I know go here, or anyone who wants to actually have work done to their car for that matter. (I have had other friends and family that had similar experiences paying for work that never actually got done at this location.) read more

Good location in Williston and reasonable pricing. Decent selection of Firestone tires. Low rating given the customer experience I've had at this business. You definitely won't feel like the customer and you'll need to pander to get what you want done right. I also called to schedule my car for an oil change. I was told not to bother with an appointment if I would drop the car off for the full day. I did this and asked if I could also have my tires rotated and tire pressure checked (since they'd have my car all day). At this point, they gave me my keys back and said I'd have to reschedule the appointment (this, after spending more than $1,000 at this establishment for tires - thus, they don't value loyalty/repeat business).
