I go to this store cuz it's close to my work and I can walk there after dropping off my car. I…read morecame in for 3 things: oil change, checking a leak on a tire, and getting tires rotated. When I arrived there to drop off the car, 1 was clerk manning the store who was on the phone. The customer in front of me said he had been waiting a long time and phones were ringing off the hook. When I arrived later to pick up my car, I also had to wait awhile for someone in the shop to come in. Oil change was done but the person in the shop (was a different staff member than the one in the morning) had no idea if anything had been looked at regarding the leak in my tire. My tires also weren't also rotated fully. It was simply the front to back rotation even though I purchased the proper tires for doing an entire rotation. Lastly, emails have been going to the wrong address for my car repairs. The shop has failed to update this after numerous asks. The physical printouts lack information.

I waited nearly 10 minutes for service but in fairness it was pretty much 8:00 so they were getting a truck set up in a bay for real work. Just as I was backing up to leave a fella came over to assist, so I got back in behind the cones. I have been taking my cars to Jason basically since I started driving…read more There are plenty of shops to get your car fixed, and while I'm sure everyone has something to say about getting their car fixed, Jason is the only mechanic I will ever trust with my car. I took my car to the dealer (it's a one owner bought brand new) for it's 60,000 mile service which includes replacement of the timing belt. What I was met with was a repair bill of over $1500!!! I took my car to Jason instead and had all the fluids flushed, a tune up, water pump, and timing belt done for $700. Now maybe it's just me, but saving over 50% on a service charge because you don't have to pay a dealer mechanic their RIDICULOUS hourly shop rates, but friendly service with a smile, a mechanic who will bend over backwards to find you parts for your car at the lowest cost to you, and a guaruntee on the work done is priceless. One other cool feature, I love getting my car back after having it worked on, and taking it one garage stall over to vacuum it out and give it that hand polished shine that makes my car look happy. : - ) I will never take my car anywhere else, unless I absolutely have to!

I appreciate their honesty and the fact that they don't call me "sweetheart" when I walk in the door. I appreciate their recommendations like "If you're just driving around town, this will be fine, but if you're traveling out of state, you need this fixed," and "We could fix this now but it won't negatively affect your brakes and it would cost you a lot of money. Otherwise, we could fix it when you get your brakes replaced and you'll save on labor." (Paraphrased, but these are real things they've said that have been helpful.) It's clear to me that they care about their customers and value customer loyalty over a quick extra buck. Also love the free car wash tickets you get with an oil change.

They were patient, helpful, drove it around to make sure it was reading the new sensors, got it done in no time, and they did all that for $65. I interacted with 3 people who work there between phone, counter, and mechanic and they were all great to work with. I'm taking the time to leave a review because I was pleasantly surprised at how knowledgeable the team was and how fair their pricing is. My previous experience at a Ford dealer for a different vehicle was that I left feeling very ripped off. That's not how I felt when I left Heartland Tire! Thanks guys and gal! If you go here for any kind of vehicle maintenance, I think you'll be well taken care of and not ripped off. That's all we could ever hope for, and they're offering it.

went in to get a tire plugged or replaced. incorrectly quoted me that the nail was in the side wall…read moreand not in the tread. tried to get me to pay $600+ for a tire that was able to be plugged and have been driven on for 10k miles. here is my advice for you heartland tire, since you decide to give me a hilarious response that does nothing for my 4 years of being a customer of yours: when someone comes in, is kind, has been a long time customer? help them. tell them things like they can get a 20$ plug instead of $600+ if they start asking for payment plans or start to look anxious. don't lie to them, don't misquote where the location of the nail is. don't gaslight customers when they have proof of your lies. you guys don't care. at all. your "highly valued guests" are just people who don't know enough about vehicles so they can be swindled by you.
