Sunday, picked up a large metal roof screw/head from continued hurricane debris in my tire coming back from mass this am. I limped it slowly to Tires Plus on McCall rd in Englewood. Yes, they were open on a Sunday and down to only one technician, Clayton. I have used them before for the same EXACT situation and yes, on The Lord's day! The business was clean and Michael, the Mgr. was pleasant, honest and easy to talk to. They got me in after a brief wait while he finished another car in front of me. He repaired it the right way, with a patch and got me back on the road in no time. God bless both Michael and Clayton, Say what you will but they were angels this morning and saved me and I made two new friends. These guys were damn good people and Americans. I purchased a classic 90s vehicle and took it to the Englewood location for a front end alignment which they did. when I was paying they mentioned the steering was a little loose. They asked me if I wanted the lifetime alignment program. I bought it and when on my way. This year , because I am ICAR Platinum and ASE trained auto mechanic, I rebuilt the entire front end bushings that were dried out rubber. I set up the caster in the driveway with a level to bring it in close enough to drive and because I didn't touch the tie rods it drove really nice. I made an appointment at the Englewood location for a follow up alignment and arrived early for my 8:30 appointment. I spoke to Kevin S. , explained that the upper control arms needed adjustment even though I installed them back on the old marks. It only has 11000 miles on it , it just sat in a garage all its life. Kevin S. told me the techs working there were not skilled enough to adjust the camber and castor a vehicle , they just set the tow in and shipped them. I told him the only thing on the front end that needed adjustment was the upper control arm ( two bolts) . Kevin S told me they would look at it . I sat for 3 and a half hours while my car sat . I asked Kevin why my car was not being looked at and he said they were busy. I had noticed for much of the time I waited there was no vehicle on the alignment machine? I called my wife to come get me and returned later. They still had not touched my van. so Much for the extra money I paid for the lifetime alignment. Kevin S was rude to me and raised his voice. This was a bad experience, after being a customer for the entire 30 plus years i think because of the additude of Kevin S. I'm done. You have a nice life changing tires buddy read more

Took my car to Tires Plus to get a tire repaired and tire rotation. They could squeeze me in at 11:00. I couldn't make it and called to reschedule. I was told they could get me in the next day at 5pm. Returned at the scheduled time and was told they couldn't do it but I could leave the car. Frustrated, I left it. Went back to pick it up. After reviewing my receipt, I was charged 9.99 for car care pkg which I did not ask for. This included vehicle inspection, tire rotation, battery check and tire pressure check. Although the battery checked out fine as noted on the invoice, their recommendation was to replace the battery. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Even thought I wanted two new front tires the manager is insisting on putting my back tires on front ...no that's not what I want and it's not safe...why I have to debate this issue along with rude customer service from manager is insane. We had a razor blade in our tire. We change it to our spare, but tried to get the tire repaired for the 16 hour drive home. We went to two places that told us they would not patch tires. One gave us this place as a recommendation. when we arrived we were greated by a very friendly mechanic. He told us the wait would be 2 weeks. This was Thursday morning, my husband explained that we had to be on the road early Saturday morning. So, we were going to find somewhere else. He said if they did not have to change the tire they would be able to have it ready for us on Friday. I called at 2:25 pm on Friday and was informed someone had put a note on our tire to have it ready by end of day (6:00)pm on Saturday. Then I was told the tire was now moved to the Friday list and it would be completed by end of day. I called at 5:30 and was told again that it had a note on it to complete by end of day Saturday. He said he would talk to the manager and they will have it completed by 9:00-9:30 am. I called at 8:00, asked for the manager just to ensure the tire would be ready. I spoke to the assistant manager, Kevin, he said he was the one who spoke to us on Thursday and that the manager was not available. He said he had promised Saturday. Not the case! He said he would try to have it repaired by 10:30, but definitely 12:00. He said they would call when completed. At 12:06 I called, talked to him again and was told they had been trying to call us. We had been sitting by both of our phones and no calls were registered. I asked what number they called, he could not tell me. They were unable to fix the tire, we had to buy two new back tires. We are now on the road at 1:25 pm. I understand they could not fix the tire, but they did not follow through on any of the committed times, dates or return calls. I do not recommend this business as, in our opinion, they are very unreliable! They are courteous. Hopefully they do good work and we make it home safely. At this point, we had no other options as we had to be home by Monday morning. read more

I have been coming here to tires plus since 2001 , had a issue before with same manager (Luke ) , tried to charge me for it new tire when I had road hazard called customer service they made him make good on the tire but is still left a bad taste in my mouth , Not today took my riding lawn more tractor there to have it aired up as it was off the rim and he treated me poorly I told him I'll never come back here again then I want to tire Kingdom here in Englewood they put it on and less than two minutes so they now I have my business compared to the thousands of dollars that I spent at tires plus they will not get a red cent out of me again at tires plus and the manager needs to be talk to you read more

I wish I could rate zero stars. The guy told me my 2013 impala required a special 100 % synthetic oil per GM. $85.00 for an oil change. I didn't bite. Went to the Chevy dealership and told them. The guy laughed. He said the guy tried to hose me. The dealership did the oil change for forty bucks. The guy at tires+ even said if I purchased a regular oil change my extended Warranty would be voided. I asked how the dealership would know. He said they will do testing of the drained oil the next time like viscosity and etc. Voiding my service contract. He said the dealership will do whatever they can to void your contract. I bought 4 tires for my Jeep. I added the Road Hazard because if the sales pitch that I would never have a tire problem that wouldn't be professionally and quickly repaired. I had a tire leaking air and took it in. I was told it would be 3 or so hours because they were very busy. I took it back on my day off (today) and was told that it would be at least two hours as the were very busy. I was told that I should make an appointment for an obscure time in a couple of days. My tire is needing constant inflation and the tires are 4 months old. I went down the street to The Pit Stop and Had my tire patched from the inside and was out for only $20 bucks in 35 min. They also share the Firestone brand tire. I will never use Tires Plus again. There is no service after the sale. If your buying tires I heard them tell a customer that they could be installed in bout an hour. read more

Kept telling me that the alignment was best they could do, rear tire ruined, cost me 2 new tires...went to another shop where they were surprised it was so far out of alignment and they fixed it...don't walk, run away from these guys! read more

If 0 stars were an option, that's what they would have. Horrible customer service. We purchased tires online and had them sent there. They were hateful about the tires we purchased and did not want to put them on. The website guaranteed us $68 installation in an email. The total cost was $90, not $68. They also said we needed an alignment, but after finding out we weren't going to have it done the man walked off and talked with other people instead of finishing up the checkout process. And after having sat for TWO HOURS on our vacation my husband, who is the least confrontational person ever, didn't want to argue and just paid and left. They are lucky I stayed home with the kids, because I am the confrontational one. This business is rude, incompetent (it does not take two hours to change tires), they are not customer friendly and they will never have our business again. We've been to tire shops in many states, and this is by far the absolute worst one we've ever done business with. read more

found a screw in one of the new tires I had installed at the Englewood fla store, called them up for an appointment to have it repaired, was told that it would take 30 to 45 minutes to have it patched. showed up at the store on time, only to wait 90 minutes before I was told their "tire man" went to lunch and I would have to wait even longer. why even give people appointments if you cant keep them? better yet, why employ someone at a tire service that isn't a "tire man"? two of your employees were standing around playing games on their phone, while only one was working in the bay. unbelieveable read more
