Took my car in to have them look at a flat tire. The employee would not even go outside to look at my car. He told me I could leave it there for a week and figure out how to get home myself. Came in requesting a simple repair and the gentleman there was extremely rude. He refused to provide me with a name and told me he was busy . He was watching television the entire time just standing there . He wasn't even wearing a mask or anything productive on his face. I came in on 1/25/21 at 5:50 pm . when they clearly had enough time to switch out my tire from my donut to my new replacement where I still had the ticket price provided . Not from the area but was treated very unprofessional and felt very uncomfortable. Will not be returning to the establishment to conduct any further business. read more

Caution - This was my GO TO PLACE for years. BUT went in for my annual safety check. They told me they wouldn't pass me UNLESS I purchased an $800 repair. Looking at the part in question I didn't agree. So I took the car to another safety check location and the passed me no problem. Been driving for months and no issues. Come to find out others have had this same experience. In all fairness have had a good experience up to now but I won't tolerate this. read more

Stopped by at this location on a Sunday for a free break inspection and several other car issues. The location only has general techs during the weekends which in my opinion it is terrible from a business point of view. The representative at the location quickly try to set me up for an appointment during the week when their installer was in. I explained that this would not work since i work during the week. I asked if the employees currently working could fix any of the problem and the rep simply replied my installer can. Again this is terrible customer service if you only have one installer and they do not work when everyone else is off "weekends". Hope they can fix their scheduling issue. My experience: made an 8am appt. for new tires. Dropped my vehicle off at 715. Uber to work. They said the tires are on their way, they'd call if there's an issue. 415pm. Uber back to tire shop. Voicemail at 440pm. Tires just now showed up. Might be able to get to it this evening. Nope. $40 worth of Uber plus showing up to work 1/2 hour late and leaving 1/2 hour early for nothing. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!!! Been to other Tires Plus store and have been treated great. My nephew took his car here and they made false claims and tried to get over $1100.00 off him. I took the car and had another mechanic look at it and all claims that I have in writing we're LIES. If you choose to not take heed ask to see before you pay and ask for all old parts. Or LEAVE and get a second opinion. In this day and age a young kid or woman should be able to take their car in and not be taken advantage of. Went to vivion road location for tires rotation, balance and alignment. They told me that the lower ball joints were bad (one very bad) and wanted over $800 to repair. I was suspicious since I replaced the lower ball joints and upper ball joint control arms 40,000 miles ago. Checked the lower ball joints when I got home and no play in them. Had an auto mechanic friend check and he said the same thing and that tires plus is trying to rip you off. I went back to tires plus and let them know how I felt about them being dishonest. I cannot commend the manager Jameson and the technicians who worked on my car these past two days enough! I am from STL and was visiting friends this weekend. Long story short, I left Friday and my car overheated on my trip out here. Took it to one repair shop Saturday morning and was told they solved the problem so I paid for the parts & labor, only to have it overheat again after driving it for about an hour and a half. Needed to get back to STL and Tires Plus was suggested to me by WalMart as they were the only place open on Sundays to work on this issue. They worked endlessly Sunday and most of the day Monday to ensure my car would not overheat and I could make it back to STL. I am sure working on my car was exhausting because the issue was not blatantly obvious but they did everything they could to fix the underlying issue!! After an exhausting weekend dealing with car troubles, these guys fixed my car and I made it back to STL tonight with absolutely no issues!! I have never been so relieved to not see my car start overheating. Thank you Jameson and to all the guys who worked on my car! YOU ARE AWESOME!!! read more

They put the wrong weights on my tires, they didn't even fit the wheel. Only half way on at best, guy at the counter acted like I was stupid. I've worked as a tire changer...but when I brought my wheels back I'm being made to wait for something that takes just mins, and after they start and stop all other tickets. My husband went here for a inspection and they told him it would be almost $400 in repairs to pass the inspection. We also went here 2 weeks prior to this visit for other repairs costing us $1,400 in repairs and no one happen to mention these issues. This place needs to change up on the attitude and customer service. Lady at the counter needs to learn how to be professional and learn not to say certain things that is not professional and good to hear when other customers are around. I ordered tires online and had them shipped here to be installed. The tires I ordered were the wrong size (my bad) so I went ahead and bought a set of tires from them. Which was fine. Everyone was nice and the service was good. My problem was that three times UPS came to pick up the tires that I had ordered online so I could get a refund, and three times they were not able to get the tires from TiresPlus. I even called the manager John after the second time UPS was turned away and he assured me that this third try UPS would get the tires. They didn't. I am very disappointed and don't know what I need to do for TiresPlus to just give my tires back to UPS. read more

Gave this place 3 chances. First, about 18 months ago they leave some tool under my hood after a service (can't remember what was done at that time). Then got a set of 4 tires put on. 2 out the 4 were the wrong size. This last time was a serious safety issue. I took my suv in on August 14 and requested a new tire due to some sidewall damage. 3 different gouges in various depths. I was told that the tire did not need to be replaced and the damage did not affect the safety of the tire. I told him I am driving out of town tomorrow, and he said I can put a new tire on it, but it is not needed. I said ok and left. So I trust his "expert" advice and drive on like normal. But his advice just doesn't sit right with me. So I make an appointment at Goodyear in NKC. I tell them that I had the tire inspected some where else and I was told it was ok, but I preferred just getting it replaced b/c of the damage. He came back and and said the nylon cords were cut and that it was not safe to drive at all. Putting my family and others at risk is not an option, so I will not be returning. read more
