I was sent to this location after two other Firestone locations didn't have anyone to work on a nail in a tire even though it was an hour and 30+ min before they closed. I called this location spoke with Erik he told me to bring my car they would handle it. I walked in, they were kinda busy and annoyed with each other and some customers but they were super nice to me. They didn't take too long to get on my car. They informed me that it couldn't be repaired because of where the nail was located. They had my tire in stock and prorated it because apparently they are the same company as Firestone (never knew that at all). The price after prorating was a good price and they had my car ready in no time. I may have been there 30 min. They were done even before they closed at 5. They were even still taking customers after I arrived. This may be my go to for tires from now on. read more

I came in at 6:20 on August 22nd, asking to have a tire that I bought from them placed back on my vehicle. They refused to service me and insisted I come back the next day. I was assured that a technician would be left for me the next day in order to change the tire. I called in advance before coming to the shop to ensure that they would keep their word and service me the next day, just to be turned down again. I used to go to the Tires Plus on Hypoluxo Road for 10 years very upsetting and very disappointed so I will go back 6 months every time I pay for the 9.99 special where there are supposed to look your car over well they where not I needed a major brake job because they did not check it I do that every time I get an oil change they schould have caught it at the stage it needed pads I feel I schould not have to have paid for rotors I am on a budget they where good until about a year ago or a little over that I am on a budget like alot of us so I go to take my car to the tires plus on Hypoluxo it is closed j wonder why poor service bad customer care so I drove to the Tires Plus in Lake Worth Beach for a tire I found out from the manager the idiot who put my brake pads on at the Hypoluxo store that is now closed schould have noticed the caplipers where an issue the manager at the Lake Worth store he told me i was driving on my brakes he was nice enough to give me the brake pads but I had to pay for the labor I schould not had to pay for anything and now a month later I hear noises in my brakes only a month later so now I am going back tomorrow morning will be there when they open I am nervous about what will be the problem now my last bill was 1125.00 if it is something major I am done after 10 years I have been a card holder of Tires Plus the whole time but if I don't like what I hear tomorrow I am leaving and going somewhere else it is a shame the service was the best until about a year and a half ago will see how it goes tomorrow morning read more

Expression of Disappointment and Frustration with Tires Plus Dear Tires Plus Management, Let me start by saying how incredibly disappointed I am with the service I received at your location on 2930 10th Ave in Lake Worth, FL 33461. On June 19th, I brought my wife's car to your shop for a full inspection and to address squeaking brakes. I have trusted Tires Plus with our vehicles on several past occasions and have always been satisfied with the service. However, this experience was markedly different and deeply frustrating. During the inspection, it was determined that a new wheel bearing, along with new brakes and rotors, was needed. However, after having the car all day, your technicians were unable to complete the job. As explained by the technician, they attempted to install three different wheel bearings but were unsuccessful due to faulty parts that did not fit. Additionally, the inspection indicated that a new power steering pump was needed but could wait. This incomplete and problematic service ended up costing $2047.23, plus one day's lost work amounting to $120. After all that, we called the next day because the brakes were still making noise and didn't feel right. Sam advised us to bring the car back whenever we could. On July 16th, we brought the car back, only to be told that new calipers were needed because they were damaging the rotors, and that new brake fluid was also required. My question is, why was this not identified during the initial vehicle inspection for which I was charged $21.99 plus tax? Nevertheless, I agreed to have this additional work done, which cost another $823.64 plus tax. The same day, my wife took the car back because the brakes were soft and it was hard to stop the car. Samuel consulted technician Carlos, who stated that the brakes would get hard once you drive and pump them. On July 17th, we were forced to take the car back once again. When my wife expressed her frustration, Sam told her, "You should have never driven off, unfortunately, we rushed due to closing." Unbelievable! We were then informed that a master cylinder was needed, costing another $456.55 plus tax. Upon completion, we inspected the car, and it was still not braking properly. On top of that, we now had a screw in the passenger front tire. I called and spoke to Eric, who told me that because they were closing soon (in about two hours), we should bring it in the next morning and he would take care of it. I mentioned that my wife would lose another day's work, costing $120, but Eric stated they had other cars to service and couldn't look at it right then. I requested at least the tire be fixed, but Eric declined, stating, "You know our technicians are good, but lately they have been lacking and rushing the jobs." On July 18th, I called what I thought was the Tires Plus corporate number, 1-800-440-4167, and spoke to Shaqunna. Shaqunna took my statement, and I mentioned I would like to speak to the district manager or regional director to see what could be done about this situation and what compensation could be offered for the lack of knowledge and the incompetence displayed by your technicians. This trial and error has cost me a down payment on a new car. If your technicians are unsure, they should say so. Shaqunna gave me a case number, 2832143, and advised me Mr. Roger would call me back in two business days, if not sooner. I still haven't spoken with anyone from DM/RD about this matter. Later that day, I called back and spoke to a lady named Stephanie, who said Mr. Rogers acknowledged he would call me but didn't know why he hadn't yet. After a brief hold, she put me in contact with Derrick, who had no idea what I was talking about. After I explained the situation and asked for his recommendation, Derrick told me he was the Manager of the Tires Plus in Lake Worth and suggested I bring the car back to the very same location where I've been experiencing these issues. Reluctantly, I took the car back to store #427160, losing yet another day's work amounting to $120, and had to leave the car overnight, costing me another day's work at $120. The next day, I received a call to pick up the car. I thought the ordeal would be over, but when I arrived at the store, Sam informed me that he would like my wife to test drive the car to ensure everything was fixed. When my wife tried to start the car, the engine wouldn't start because the battery was dead. After testing, Sam confirmed we needed a new battery. Of course, we did. I could not get my receipt and get out of there fast enough. This experience has left me extremely dissatisfied and questioning the quality and reliability of your service. I hope this feedback will be taken seriously and lead to improvements in your service. They told me yes also told me I I needed brakes. 4 days later, while driving my car the light came on in the car telling me to check my tires. Shocked because within 4 days the tire pressure was 25, 27, 28, 31. No way it could be that off within 4 days. I had an oil change last month in June at the Greenacres store. The tech who changed my filter apparently used a tool to tighten the filter and broke it and made a hole in it causing my oil to leak. I wasn't told that he broke it they let me walk out of the store with a gaping hole in my filter long story short not even 10 days later my car was shaking uncontrollably and rattling. When I took it to my dealership, not knowing what was going on I was informed that the filter had a hole from when I got my oil changed just a week earlier. I notified Tires Plus store. The guy just apologized. I called corporate I filed a complaint, and when the adjuster Chet from corporate called me, he yelled at me harassed me, was very rude to me, telling me that I shouldn't have gotten my car fixed without telling them because I didn't have the authorization to fix my car. Horrible people I am waiting for the manager to contact me to make me whole for the 900+ dollars that I had to spend the greasing my car and changing the filter and having a proper oil change done. I will never go to any of those stores again. I even emailed Stu Watterson CEO and have not revived any response. Chet, the adjuster, is a horrible horrible person who has no right talking to people the way he does. He made me feel like I was a little girl being scolded on the phone. I have been a customer for avery long time but I will NEVER go back nor will I recommend anyone else there. I have visited 3 of their stores since I moved but I was so upset with my last experience. I had a routine oil change late June and 2 weeks later my car was rattling and shaking every time I hit the gas. On the highway I thought my car was going to fall apart. I took it to the dealer and I was horrified. As it turns out the filter had a gaping hole and all my oil leaked. It seems when the tech changed my filter he used a tool to tighten it and damaged the filter so bad. He did not say anything to anyone about it much less me, the customer, and allowed me to walk out of there knowing that I was going to have problems. Quality control out the window!!!!! I had oil all over the under carriage all over the engine and everyehere else EXCEPT inside the engine. I don't know how my engine did not blow. $920 later I filed a complaint with Tires Plus Coorpate and I still have not heard anything even after 3 calls. How an unnecessary oil change cost me over $4200. Bad communication from the start. Went in for routine maintenance, and they said my oil needed to be changed, and my breaks were unsafe to drive. I have a 2014 Toyota Camry with less than 150k on it. I told them that my full synthetic oil gets changed every 10k and the breaks were not making noise. But they insisted that oil gets changed every 5k miles. I had a road trip in a couple of days, and they said my vehicle would be unsafe to drive, so I took them at their word. $1,000+, oil, pads and rotors later and my car is clunking as I'm driving it home from the shop. I call them the next day, but they can't see me until the following morning so I have to take time off of work to get my car checked out. Less than 48 hrs after leaving their shop, and they tell me a bushing fell out of my control arm and that's what was making the sound. I had to be on the road in less than 24 hrs and they made it seem like my car was unsafe to drive. They quoted me $2500 after discounting what they could, but when they called to tell me my car was ready, they said it was $2800. When I asked where that extra $300 came from, they said that price was before tax. Apparently there is standard tax, and "shop tax", which they don't disclose to you. When I go to pay, the new total was $3200! The only thing they could tell me was when they called me, not all the work was on the bill. I needed my car, people were counting on me, so I had to figure out how to come up with the money. An oil change (which I did not need!) ended up costing me $4200+. Prior to starting the job I asked for them to save all the old parts, but they never did. I left there feeling preyed upon and taken advantage of. They were dishonest and saw an easy mark in a women coming in by herself. They lied and sold me services I didn't need and they added services we didn't talk about. Every time I spoke up to argue against it, they had something to say to make it seem like I was misinformed. Went in with a nail in my tire. I had driven a couple miles with no air in it. Technician notified me that the tire sides were damaged and I needed to have it replaced. I called to schedule a tire repair to plug a roofing nail in my tire. The service provider stated they could repair it and it would take less than an hour. My appointment was scheduled for 10:00A. I dropped off my car and waited to receive a call. An hour later I received a call that my car needed new tires, spark plugs, and an air filter. I just had my oil and filter changed and tires rotated earlier that week at my dealer who told me my car was fine. An hour and a half later I called to see if my car was ready and Tires Plus confirmed it was. I picked up my car, paid for the repair and drove off. I heard the clicking sound before arriving home and noticed the nail was still in the tire. When I called the customer service person stated they do not plug tires. I asked why I was charged for something they did not complete and told me they would. I was told I needed new tires and they could not repair the tire. I had to call Tire Kingdom, take me car in, they confirmed it could be repaired and return to Tires Plus for a refund because you have to go in to receive a credit. I did not receive an apology, acknowledgement of any miscommunication, reason for the charge or offer to refund my money. I had to ask for a refund! I will not be returning to do business with Tires Plus and will not recommend their services. I would have rated them zero stars but it is not an option. read more

Had my ups and downs here, but Alan and Richard really came through for me a few weeks ago. My tire pressure light came on and I thought it was my right front tire so I put the Donut on and showed up at 6:59 like that guy who shows up at the last minute. It had some superficial damage that didn't affect the tire. But they took the time to check my other tires and found out it was actually another tire with a puncture. Changed the tire out and were there 30 minutes late. Really looked out and took care of me when they could've just sent me on my way when the original tire was fine.
