Ron was my service technician and he couldn't have been more thoughtful and educated me regarding how tires wear. As it turns out, my tires are wearing fine based on my mileage to date. I also asked Ron about my brakes and he explained how brakes work and the rust is normal based on Floridas weather and once wet it does disappear and he is so correct about the rust. One of my coworkers suggested I go to Goodyear, as it's close by and they had a good experience there, getting a repair in 30 mins. I keep an air compressor in my car, so I inflated the tire and make the 4 min drive to Goodyear. Sherrie took care of me right away. I explained that I was there to fix a flat and I'll wait for the repair. Once the Tech completed the repair, Sherrie called me up to the desk to pay, which was a little over $25. She then also suggested replacing all 4 of my tires, as 3 of them had low tread. She printed the quote, which I was appreciative for as I was planning on replacing my tires soon. I take my car and go straight home. Today, the morning of 2/11/25, I come outside ready to drive to work, to see the same tire that I brought for repair yesterday, is again completely flat today. So the flat is taken off and the spare put on, so I can bring the tire back to Goodyear to fix the repair I paid for yesterday. Unfortunately, Sherrie wasn't in, but Chris was. Chris was pleasant and also helped me right away. He said they'd have to look at the tire and he'd call me to let me know what happened. As I left to go back to work, Chris calls and says that it's a separate hole than what they repaired yesterday and they would have to charge me another repair. I was surprised that I would have to pay again for a repair that occurred less than 24 hours before as there is a possibility it was missed with the original repair and not a new hole. I told him, I brought my tire to your company as the experts to fix a flat tire, whatever that may entail. I didn't feel that I should have to pay again, especially with it being less than 24 hours. He said, all he could do was give me a $5 discount, which I thanked him for. When I came back to have the re-repaired Tire put back on, I thanked Chris again for the discount, but let him know that my family was less than happy that I'm paying again, at all, for this re-repair, and we'll now be going to Costco for the new tires, as my family no longer wants to use Sherrie's quote. To which Chris replied, you could go to Costco, but you would be getting a 'club tire'. I don't know what that means and I think the point was lost on him, that charging me another $20 today, is losing you hundreds of dollars in the future, as I won't be spending any more money here. I do have to say that both Service Reps were pleasant and nice, but I think Chris lost an opportunity to retain a customer.

MOOG sway bar links that are on the manufacturers website for $36-$50 per bar and on Amazon for $30 per bar for the exact manufacturer MOOG model number , He looks me dead in my face and proceeds to tell me he is charging $100 per bar. I don't want to even imagine what he was charging me per axle and struts, I then ask him if I buy the parts that he is going to buy, can I bring them in and he repairs the car he proceeds to tell me "no they put on quality parts Not over-the-counter" so because I would like to save $400-$600 on parts and buy the same exact parts from the manufacturers website and bring them into you they are not " Quality parts". They advertise "price match " but not once did he say if I found The exact same parts and manufacturer for a lower price would he match the price, they think because they advertise in the shop they are a "dealer alternative shop" that they can charge you an arm and a leg on aftermarket parts .
