My husband had a flat tire on the turnpike and had his car towed to the closest tire place which turned out to be tire plus on commercial Blvd. The service was amazing and everyone was friendly. When he left he was given a free tire check and alignment. Since we don't live close to there,we decided to go to this Tire Plus. OMG what a difference. There was no customer service and the man behind the counter wouldn't help my husband because he "wasn't clocked in yet". I A coworker has been coming here for about 15 years with all his and his family Cars so I thought since it's close to work , I would give it a try. They opened on time the gentleman at the counter was very pleasant for being 7AM. I asked for them to call me when my truck was done (I figured I would be calling them to find out if my car was done, really didnt think I would get a call) To my surprise they called! I went in for a simple flat repair because of a nail in my tire and the manager calls me and tells me it's unrepairable so I'd need to purchase a new tire for $180 ! So I took the "unrepairable" tire to another tire shop and they repaired it no problem! When I called their corporate office to complain they never reached out to me and after numerous calls I was told that the corporate office has dismissed my complaint and there was nothing I could do or say for them to even hear my complaint! if I could give zero stars I would. I purchased a tire online from Tire Rack because it was still under warranty. In order to file a claim, I had to use an approved installer, one being Tires Plus which is close to my house. 2 days later after the install, my tire pressure sensor light went on. I took it back to Tires Plus and they told me that it must be a coincidence because they would never have let me driven off the lot if the sensor was on. I asked them how much it was to fix, and they told me $130. I decided to get it checked out by my mechanic instead. My mechanic took off the tire and noticed that both the sensor and the valve were broken and was put back together using zip ties. Obviously I was furious because Tires Plus didn't claim negligence when I brought the car back in, and had I let them, they would have charged me for something that they broke in the first place!!! Not to mention, there was a slow leak due to the broken valve, I could've easily had a blowout and could've caused harm to myself, or someone else on the road. So, instead of fessing up, they covered it up. I had to buy a new sensor from Lincoln which was $135. I took it back to Tires Plus to show them the broken pieces that my mechanic had given me along with the receipts for the work that was done. I wasn't greeted with empathy or compassion but received some push back and attitude. The only thing they did right was to dreimburse me for the part and the service done by my mechanic. When I asked the Mgr if he had spoken to the technician that installed my tire, I got "not yet, I haven't seen him". SMH read more

Ridiculous, This is the 2nd location I went to Tire Plus Employee tries to push me to buy a tire when needing to replace valve stem and tell me I need to buy a new tire if they are going to fix the valve stem, I refused the tire and asked if they can replace the valve stem and I would replace all my tires at once since I only had 1 tire there at the moment (2016 GT Miata doesn't come with a spare so I brought the tire that had the issue only) SCAMMERS. I took my car to Tire Kingdom After wasting 1 hour at 2 TIREPLUS locations. Tire Kingdom took care of me replaced the Tire Stem Valve for FREE. Don't take your car here if you care for it. read more

Tires plus has a deal with tire rack to install tires that you purchased from tire rack it's all preset so you know how much you're going to spend so I go to tire plus and they want to charge me $50 a tire to change the tires this was not the arrangement The Tire Rack has with tires plus I would not recommend this company to anyone they are very dishonest I have no problems with tire rack they are honest and very helpful I also filed a complaint letting them know what tire plus was doing I'm also filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. read more

Have been a customer of this store for years. Yesterday, had a situation that was unique. Apparently a part that was placed incorrectly during an oil change caused a leak from my car. I phoned the shop and after speaking with the Manager was reassured that they would help me clean my garage which had oil all over it. I was so pleased when within an hour the manager arrived essentially redoing the oil change in my driveway and steadfastly cleaning and degreasing my garage and driveway! So my feelings are mixed on this place. I've been coming here at this location for years. I have never received bad service. They do try to pitch you I to buying tires, and or goad you into services that you don't need. I am a woman who basically knows nothing about cars, and always feel pressured into expensive services, or new tires that I don't need. I've learned to just say no, and when the service is needed, then I make an appointment. When I was ready to check out, my invoice was $50 more than originally quoted, and I had a $20 off coupon that also was not applied. Again, tried to cover it up saying that's what the charges were. Aren't they supposed to give you an estimate as to what they're quoting you prior to your service, so if there are any other additional charges, they can then be adjusted accordingly. We'll anyway I paid for my service, and got home. I wanted to make sure everything was working fine, and when I checked my headlight, it was not working! I immediately called the shop, and they had me come back in. Mind you I had already wasted half my day away waiting for an oil change, replace a headlight, and repair tun signal. I was not a walk-in, I had an appointment. Needless to say, I had to wait for them to again repair my headlight. This wait was only a few minutes, and I did check it this time before I left. If I didn't have a tire plus account with them, I probably would have gone elsewhere. read more

My 73yr old mother went in for a battery replacements they told her she needed a new alternator and charged her over $700 for the alternator alone! $553 for part that cost $280 rebuilt or $350 new. Pluse $150 labor. Spoke to mgr Lawrence at store & asked for refund and why he didn't offer a rebuilt for her car which is 20yrs old. They are crooks and take advantage of the elderly. Had my car in for service at dealer & they found a nail in my run flat tire. They are not allowed to plug run flat tires so they sent me to Tires Plus. TP said the nail was too close to sidewall so I needed a new $300+ tire. Tire was ordered for same day but didn't get there until late afternoon. Deyonte was very nice and told me to come in in the morning and I would be taken right in. Deyonte was not there the next morning. Lawrence was working the front and seemed not to know anything about my order and deposit, even though the paperwork was right next to him at the register. He had to verify that the tire came in & the deposit was accurate. Then he told a price that was $20 higher than the day before! He then corrected after I complained. The he said I would have to wait an hour to hour and half before he would get to my car. I told him Deyonte said I would be taken in as first available since I had waited the day before. Lawrence was argumentative and said others were ahead of me & I had to wait. Had Lawrence been more customer friendly, there would have been no problem. I answered an on line survey from Tires Plus. Can you believe they had Lawrence call me to argue that he was right! No one from management has contacted me. I would not recommend this location if Lawrence is working the front. read more

I have used various Tires Plus locations in the past for everything from brakes to batteries. I needed an oil change and remembered that there is a Tires Plus in the same plaza as my gym, open til 7, so I could go to 5:30 spinning while they changed my oil. Perfect! They have the option to make an appointment on their website, as well as coupons! I found a coupon for an oil change so I was extra happy. I dropped my car off and headed over to the gym. By the time I finished class I had a voicemail that my car was ready. From the time I dropped it off it had probably been about 40 minutes. Normally I would not like to wait anywhere for 40 minutes, but this Tires Plus location works out nicely with my spinning classes. Also the staff here was incredibly friendly and helpful. They do suggest a few things for future maintenance, but it didn't feel like a high pressure sale, just suggestions with estimates if you would like to get them done in the future. The one thing they did suggest to me more strongly was that my battery was testing weak and would probably need to be replaced, which I appreciate knowing ahead of time. They also noted that since my current battery had been installed at Tires Plus the new battery would be at a prorated price. They even left me with coupons for my next oil change. As I said I generally don't like to wait around for an oil change and have been known to go to those other places where you don't even have to get out of your car and it takes ten minutes, but they don't rotate your tires there like Tires Plus does, and they are also more expensive. With the coupon my oil change and tire rotation was ~$25, compared to $35+ not included a tire rotation at those other places, so if you have a little extra patience, coming here might be worth the wait. read more

Adam G was the tech I spoke to and he was able to get a guy to deliver the tires I needed within an hour. He got my car up and an hour later I was on my way. I went to this store to have a tire plugged after a got a flat. They told me the tire was ruined and I needed a new one. The tire had less than 500 miles on it. At the time I was receiving chemotherapy and made them aware that I couldn't afford a new tire. After they refused to fix the tire and said that it was extremely dangerous and that they would not fix it, I had no choice but to buy a new one at $165 dollars. Since I then have brought the tire to my dealership which said there was nothing wrong with the tire and they could plug it. Not only did this place lie to me, they knowingly took advantage of me while I had metastatic melanoma stage IV. I needed a tire sensor for my Toyota. They wanted $140.00 with a coupon would be $120.00. I called another Tires Plus and they completed for $95.00. Make sure you have an original copy of a coupon. This place won't take the digital. Shop around to other Tires Plus. When I was waiting, the Tires Plus I went to was very honest with customers and gave them detail estimates. Found this business to not be truthful and attempt to get me to buy a new tire when only a patch was needed. On Jan 15 2018 I took my sons car to tires plus with a screw in the right rear tire. I asked them to patch it and asked how much. I said ok and left the car to be repaired. Soon after I was called by them and was told the screw was too close to side of tire and had to be replaced with a new tire, I said no and picked up the car and took it to Firestone and they patched the tire without any problem. So they charged me $100 for the computer diagnosis which is not a problem but don't most HONEST companies disregard this fee if you decide to pay them to do the work??? not these people what ever your repairs cost they are going to add that diagnostic fee I was told that it was labor cost for doing the test. Now I was told that I had a bad ignition coil and I needed some new spark plugs and wires basically a tune-up..... Along with the diagnostic fee my tune up was $880 after going over the receipt saw spark plug 29.99 each so my 8 spark plugs cost me $239.92 and the labor cost to remove and replace them was $148.50 so when I ask him why one spark plug would cost 29.99 the employee offered to give me back 50.00 since I seemed unhappy with the service I'm like duh its not the service but the price GOUGING all the charges were made up they will never see another dime from me. I plan to report them to the Better Business Bureau after this review but I'm not stopping there something needs to be done bout this straight up robbery to the public. When I got home I pulled one of these high tech spark plugs to make sure they were new & yes they were but nothing high tech about them they are regular AC DELCO 41-162 spark plugs that cost 9.00 each such CROOKS I feel stupid for getting taken like that but its the world we live in. Went to tires plus yesterday to see if someone could help me get my license plate off, which had rusted screws. I walked in and was greeted by Kirk whom I asked to help me. Without hesitation he came out and worked on getting the screw out, eventually he got it off. He was very pleasant the whole time while helping me out. He even put my new license plate on! If you are from the are or not you should deff inanely come to this tire plus simply because they will do whatever it takes to get you happy with what you are getting. The prices for the tires we the lowest I could find around here; however, I found an internet price and brought it in so they could match it. The manager said scratch that we won't match, we will beat it! I was also offered warranty on the tires and the assistant was like look you are paying a good price and it would suck to get a nail in them and pay for another tire I really want you to get this not to just sell you something but really to save you from any hazards so I'll give you a good deal and he really did. The other tire plus were charging me about $54 dollars and they have it to me for less than half of that. The only thing I could recommend is to amp a little the waiting area because they only have coffee and it sits there for a while but the treatment is incredible and the price for what you get is unbeatable. read more
