Very disappointed and irate. Bottom Line: As a customer, my time was not honored respectfully and I will not return in the future. I took a chance despite their low ratings because they're a few miles from my house and had the earliest available time for me to be seen. Big mistake. I made an appointment over the phone for 9AM and arrived the day of a few minutes prior. There were already a few other customers standing outside who were walk-ins. Naturally, we were seen in the order of arrival. Unfortunately, the walk-ins were taken and serviced before me. To make matters worse, when I spoke to the gentleman at the front desk, he had trouble pulling my appointment up. He printed out my service request and wrote "10:15AM appointment" on it. YES, an hour and fifteen minutes after my actual appointment which I booked in advance but still somehow ended up being the last person to be seen. As far as service costs, overpriced. I came in for a patch but couldn't do it myself as the diameter of the hole was large. $1.99 patch with $21 for labor and $7 for labor balancing. With taxes, it came out to $32 for a tire patch. Although I do understand most shops charge for a labor minimum, I know other places further out do it for much less. If it was any other day, I'd be fine waiting but I had made two additional appointments for other errands afterwards which allowed for wiggle room but not an extra hour and fifteen minutes added on for no reason at all. Needless to say, I was late to both and ended up being considered a walk-in because of it. Ironic, right? Additional Notes: Staff was friendly. This has to be one of the worst places I have been to. Went to fix a flat last week and after having to go twice the tire is still leaking air. When I arrived I was told they were busy if I wanted to go to Firestone. I replied I did not, they advised it was a 2 hour wait. After I called someone to pick me up, so happens they took my car in, had to ask the person to leave. Went back a 2nd time for the same tire, Was told due to cold weather they loose air, after a 2 hour wait. You could only imagine my frustration. Well, the same tire is still leaking air, a week later, I have decided to go to Firestone, hopefully they will not be so incompetent. My appointment was at 1 pm. My car didn't get touched until 430pm after the fact i told them ive been waiting too long when they advised it'd only take two hours. Then I sat in the parking lot watching at how other customers, whom came to the store after me got their cars fixed and seen before mine. I got my car at 530 pm. Never coming to this location again! I came on Tuesday with a tire that most likely had a nail in it. The air pressure was ridiculously low. I asked an employee for a patch/plug job. He informed me that it would take an hour to do. I decided to wait because i had been having this issue for the past week. Waited an hour only to be told they couldnt change because i had a nail on the side where they cant patch, supposedly due to company policy. They recommended I buy a new tire for a total of $332, which includes the tire, alignment, and rotation. The nerve! Why did it take an hour for them to tell me that, when they couldve seen that issue within 10mins of them getting it. Didnt get an explanation. Of course i wasnt going to give them my business, the tire is brand new and only needed to get a plug and some air. I took my business to a car shop near East Little Havana and got a plug for $7...gave him a $20 for the entire job..damn, guy did it in less than 5mins..I cant believe those pigs in Doral were charging $332!? read more

Waited 3 hours mid afternoon on a weekday. Before entering the shop I drove behind the building thinking I hand over my car to them like jiffy lube. I brought in my car when I noticed that I had a slow leek in one my tires. They said it would take about 45 minutes to look at/change. Two hours later they brought me up to the counter and told me that the tire was fine. I explained to the employee that I had just left my car in an airport parking lot for ten days, and even before my trip I noticed I would have to inflate the tire up everyday to have it maintain tire psi. I get back from my vacation and it's completely deflated. So obviously there is a leak; A slow one but my tire care package I bought should allow me to have a brand new tire installed. The employee told me,"someone must have deflated it at the airport....". Long story short they wouldn't change it and I have had to fix the tire myself. DO NOT take your vehicle here for ANYTHING. Morale of the story: Never go to this place for anything. They are not to be trusted. They will nickel and dime you for bullshit and possibly sabotage your car. All the other reviews on this site that are five stars are probably written by the employees themselves. Story: I went here the other day to repair a flat. Which they said would take an hour. I came back an hour later and the flat was not fixed. My car was lifted up 7 feet high with the hood up and a mechanic was checking my car in places which I did not consent to. They did not fix the tire and told me I needed an entirely new set of tires. The bullshit was strong with this group of lying papichulos. Horrible service. Took them a flat tire for repair. The salesman looked at it and said there was a nail too close to tire wall and could not be fixed. Told me I needed a new tire. Asked him if he was sure. He said yes. New tire was $145 dollars. I told him I would check around. Went to another shop. They were able to fix my flat for $15 dollars. Turns out there was no nail. The other shop actually took their time and sprayed soap and water on the tire and found the leak. Beware of these guys. read more

They said that we needed an alternator and battery as the battery was dead and alternator low in volts. I stated isn't the battery dead because of the alternator not working? They agreed and then just quoted their best price after negotiation on the alternator. $455. I stated it is too much. I called pep boys. only $324. I called yesterday morning asking for a quote for: Oil and filter replacement Brake fluid replacement Tire Rotation The guy on the phone said: $80 for the brake fluid, $60 for the oil (synthetic), free tire rotation. Later that day I called again to schedule an appointment and asked for a quote again just to be sure... The guy on the phone (a different one): It's gonna' be $180. Across the board I think I've been to every Tires Plus in Miami and have been MAJORLY screwed. I feel like a Tires Plus jezebel. This week I went in for a routine oil change and was happy I didn't have to wait too long. After the oil change I thought the car sounded funny and also had a different smell to it. I thought it might be fumes from oil that spilled out during the change so I proceeded to go home. Perhaps it was a sloppy change, nothing to worry about. I drove quite far for the change as I live about 45 minutes away and needed a baby sitter for my two little ones while I did the change. Today I turned the car on again and once again thought it did not sound right and still smelled bad so I waited for my Husband to get home to check it out. Thank gOd I did because when he got home and checked it out... there was oil EVERYWHERE. It looks like they put the wrong oil filter size AND forgot to put the oil cap back on. This is a severe mishap and there is no excuse for such a mistake. This is endangering so many lives when errors like this occur. Who knows what kind of engine damage there could be from driving it with the oil just leaking out everywhere. This mistake could literally cost someone their car. Oh and love the driving with two small kids in the car breathing in those yummy oil fumes. That was the frosting for me. Years ago I went to this same Tires Plus in Doral to do all of my oil changes and rotations/alignments because of a deal I bought. After about a year of NOT doing the rotations and saying they were doing them, I noticed that the two tires in the front were completely bald where you could see the threads. I only went there this past week because I had to for sitter purposes. This location is continuously ripping off their customers and or making rookie mistakes that cost their customers a fortune. The last time we had an oil change in the North Miami Beach location and they forgot to correctly put the bottom of the oil pan back on. (ARE YOU KIDDING ME?) When my entire family was in the car driving on the highway the screw shot off of the bottom and all the oil started leaking out of the car and smoking. Luckily we were not too far from the SW 8th street location and were able to be towed there. All I was thinking was, "Great MORE Tires Plus service." So now my Husband just got back with tons of pics and a video. It's very clear that the moron didn't put the oil cap back on. It's black, most of the things under the hood are black. Okay I get it. The oil cap magically camouflaged itself under the hood and the mechanic forgot to put it back. Nope, that's not it. He actually left it right next to where the hood closes and BENT the hood. The hood is supposed to close very easily so when it was hard to open my Husband realized that it was because the mechanic had to push down on the hood so hard with the cap under it that it actually misaligned the hinges of the hood and bent it. All I can think is, "What an idiot." Mistakes happen but he literally had to force the hood down so hard that it bent the hood. For someone who does tons of oils changes each day, each week, each year you'd think they would know that if it wasn't that hard to open the hood then perhaps it should not be so difficult to close it. I'm never going back here, or to another Tires Plus again. I would highly recommend that no one does either unless they are highly knowledgable about their cars and are willing to fix the damage afterward. read more

This place is a nightmare. I went a few months ago because I found a nail in my tire, and they convinced me I needed a new tire because "the nail was too close to the rim." I fell for it and spent$150 on a new tire. Last month, I found another nail in my tire and they told me the same thing - and they also said I needed two other new tires. When I refused, they said they could "possibly" patch my tire - which they did. I also decided to get my oil changed there ... Big mistake. I recent,y noticed huge oil stains on my driveway. I took my car to another place, and they said that whoever did my last oil change didn't tighten some cap correctly. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! Just one tire it was not even busy when arrived . Asked after waiting an hour how long it would take since my vehicle was never moved . " it'll be about 2-3 hours". Horrible , should have old the customer the time frame at the beginning of how long it would take to get one tire replaced. Dishonest service. Dropped off my vehicle to mount 2 19" tires. After 2 hours I was informed that they do not mount low profile 35 series tires and was told to pick up the vehicle. On pickup I was told they took down one wheel from my vehicle but did not attempt to dismount the old tire. On inspection there was damage done to my wheel. The only reason I didn't give it one star is because they where prompt and courteous. They didn't fill my car fluids up, I'm sure they didn't even check them... Although I asked them to please check my coolant and window wiper fluid and to please refill the window wiper fluid as it was empty. Not Done! Makes me wonder what else was not done? They also left several blk grease stains on my newly cleaned carpet and the side door panel. I usually take my car to tires plus at the north Miami location because that is where I live by. But I had a flat tire near the Doral location. Luis Jr was excellent in providing excellent customer service. His customer service was amazing from the minute I walked in to the minute I walked out. And he was like that for not only me but for all the customers that walked in while I was there. Will definitely come back to this location if I need an oil change after work or some thing. Well it's 31st of December 2016 I decided to make an appointment a day before for a simple oil change . I understand that its the holidays and everyone it's not in the mood of working but if it's not crazy busy like today there it's no need to take 1hr and 30mins to change a simple car oil. This location allowed someone (no one remotely related to me or in possession of my card) to walk into the store and pay for his repairs on my account to the tune of a $500+ charge. The man walked in, asked for repairs and told them to charge it to my account. It was that simple. The worst part is that they did not cooperate with me to remove said charge. Let me reiterate my point by saying that I have NEVER been to this location before. Do you know what they did to resolve this problem? They opened up a new Tires Plus credit account for the thief who put this charge on my credit account. They told me that they did this so they could place the charge on the thief's account instead of mine. I understand that mistakes happen so my theory is that it is all about how you handle the situation. I am in management so I have to deal with things like this all the time. All it takes is some finesse and good customer service. It has been 2 weeks since my initial call to the store and I have not received a single phone call from anyone at this location. I have had to put in a complaint to corporate twice to have them remove the charge. If this is how they have handled my situation with my credit, I would never allow them near my car.
