I was on time and was told I still had to wait even though I made an appointment it was explained to me that multiple appointments are set and then whoeve. gets there first gets to be seen at their appointment time and they stack multiple appointments. We had a flat tire and the tire wasn't able to come off, even with AAA's help. So we got the car towed over to this location. Antoinette was super helpful and kind, and even stayed a bit after closing to make sure the car got there safely and she secured it. The next morning, I received a call with an update on the vehicle and all my questions were answered. The communication was top tier. Between Antoinette and Carlos, I get very well taken care of. When we went to pick up the car, I felt like I was meeting an old friend chatting with Antoinette. Definitely coming back to this location for my car needs and they have free air! read more

I had a terrible experience with Tires Plus on Atlanta Rd. I called ahead and made an appointment for new tires (they weren't in stock, they had to order them). They assured me that they would order the tires, and that they would arrive by 3 PM - in time for my appointment. I showed up on time, only to be told the tires hadn't arrived yet. No biggie - Atlanta traffic is insane at times and delivery is out of the stores control. I waited until almost 5 PM, and still no tires. I left and called around 6:40 PM to see if I could get an early morning appointment the next day (today). I was put on hold for almost 10 minutes. I hung up and called back at 6:50 PM, no one answered, and they never returned my call. The lack of communication and customer service was extremely disappointing but also super surprising, as Tyler was very nice/professional over the phone and this location had the better reviews. May have been an isolated event, but unacceptable nonetheless. read more

Terrible customer service!!!. The manager Carlos is an absolute ASS. So, this place LOST my side rear view mirror. I was told in a test drive after spending 1300$ here, that it "fell off" and they did not go back to retrieve it. My mirror was already damaged, given. But ATTACHED. The staff that I encountered were very nice, except CARLOS. But they are also unaware of certain "rules and policies " that Carlos has in place. Which makes them look bad when they're upfront and he's not there. Then when he's called to the front to clear up the situation, He gives information, plays the blame game, his whole demeanor changes. He is very unapologetic, acts very unfamiliar to who you are, to the situation , about any prior conversation you just had with him, as well as puts blame on his employees and throws them under the bus to cover his mistakes. He's very unprofessional. The higher ups should look into him, he damn near had joy in his voice when he explained how he just had to fire employees due to whatever excuse he gave and after my experience it sounds like it was him with his unprofessional power trip behavior he had. I arrived an hour later to find that the oil change had no been started even though I set an appointment, and even called to follow up. If I could give this place a -5, I would. My wife and I are elderly and we were on a long bike ride down the Silver Comet trail when my wife got a flat tire. We were 10 miles from home and it was 90 degrees out. A quick search on a map found this tire place. We thought we may be in luck getting the tire fixed. We had a spare tube, but not air. We asked the manager Tay, if they could help us out. He was very rude and told us he could only work on car tires. I told Him that this was kind of an emergency, but he basically told me to go pound sand. I proceeded to remove the tire and replace the tube myself. Then I asked if I could just use their air. Again this idiot refused. Finally, one of the other workers told me that he couldn't fill the air, but I could use it and do it myself. I would not recommend this place for anyone. I made an appointment 2 days prior to have my brakes inspected and replaced. I arrive on time and I sit in the lobby for three hours and no one speaks to me. I finally go up to the desk to remind them I'm having an inspection and wanted to know the results. They tell me it'll be a few more minutes. 30 minutes later they give me the results of my inspection. I'll have to look at my itemized receipt but my bill was $565. I asked 2 days prior what the WORST CASE scenario would be, cost wise, if all my brakes rotors etc. needed to be changed.. And the quote was way less than this amount. After I agreed to have the brakes fixed it took another hour for them to be finished. Today I noticed that my windshield wiper fluid was completely empty. I called and they apologized So in the 4.5 it took to change my brakes + almost $600 ... no one thought that to top of any fluids? Im giving tires plus 1 star becau they don't value your time and I will have to wait, God knows how long to get my fluids topped off today. They should so better all around. read more

I always brought my cars to this Tires Plus since moving to Smyrna 9 years ago, and Ed and Jimentri were always kind and respectful towards me. However, after the unapologetically rude behavior I experienced here with their manager Joshua today, I will not be going back here. My van stopped working so I had it towed to Tires Plus. Before I had it towed I called Tires Plus to make sure they can take a look at it and to get a quote on how much they will charge to diagnose the issue. On the phone I was told it'll be just $10 for diagnosis. When I got the car towed in, the manager Joshua said he will charge $100 for a diagnosis because "the people working here went to college and got certifications so they can charge $100 to give their professional opinion." Then I asked him to see if he can start my car to see if it starts, and he asked me if I think he has some special capabilities that will make my car start. I wouldn't be upset if he was nice about it, I would even pay the $100 for diagnosis, but he was being very disrespectful. Very disappointed with their service. He said he can't help me and now I am sitting in their car park, getting my insurance to help tow the car somewhere else where I'll be treated with respect. read more

I walked in on a Monday morning at 7:35am. I needed an oil change and lately getting my oil changed at the dealer has taken several hours. This place is close and they had a coupon so I gave it a shot. The waiting area is small but perhaps that's a good sign...maybe people don't have to wait all day for tires and oil changes. Wifi is available and free. Despite not having an appointment, they took my car back with a few minutes and my oil was changed in within the hour. Plus my break lights were out and they were changed them for a small fraction of what the dealer would have charged. Conclusion - great neighborhood oil change and tire spot. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE unless you want to get ripped off. My son was driving in the area late afternoon when the car displayed a wrench light and lost acceleration. He called me since the car was mine before he got it. I had the exact thing happen years before so I knew it was a throttle body failure. Ford had a customer satisfaction recall on it due to it happening on so many of their cars. It's also all over youtube and google searches. Tires Plus was the only repair shop open at the time so I told him to take it there and tell them what was wrong. He had me on speakerphone when he talked to the person there. He said they would have to run diagnostics on it and it would cost $100. If he was at Advance Auto Parts, they would have pulled the codes for free to confirm it was the throttle body. Anyway, he left the car. The next morning, Tires Plus called my son and told him they ran the diagnostics and the throttle body was defective. The quote was $1,134.58. This made no sense because I had changed it before and it takes about 10 minutes and I knew the part wasn't very expensive. I had priced it online at Ford dealers and it was between $45 and $65. I knew it would be more at a physical Ford dealer but not a lot more. I called Tires Plus and spoke with David. He said the part was over $300 and .8 hours of labor which was over $100 so around $450 to replace the throttle body. When I asked about the other charges, he said that was for new spark plugs, cleaning the fuel injection system and a new air filter. Nearly $700 is crazy expensive for those services and they also weren't requested. I guess that's just another way they pad the bill. I told him about the pricing at Ford and he said they don't buy from Ford. They use a 3rd party supplier. So, they are using a 3rd party supplier where parts are usually cheaper than Ford OEM but charging 400% more for a 3rd party part than an OEM Ford part. I told him we would just come get the car. My son took an UBER to Tires Plus for $15 and drove the car slowly to a friend's house a few miles away. He borrowed a car and drove to the Ford dealer where he bought the throttle body for $66.07 and the gasket for $7.57. Prior to today, the only mechanic work he has done on a car is add fluids. Using Facetime, a screwdriver and an 8mm socket, I helped him through it and he replaced the part in 20 minutes. Total cost of repair: $78.06 plus $15 UBER. Diagnostic charge from Tires Plus to read a code - $100. Diagnostic charge from Advance Auto Parts to read a code - FREE. So again, if you want to get taken advantage of and ripped off, take your car here and let them pad the charges, overcharge you 400% for parts and at least 250% for labor. For me, a hard pass. Places like this should be put out of business. read more

This place is silly with their pricing. I simply called to get a quote to plug a tire. Very basic situation. They quoted me $30!! For the record my family is filled with mechanics so I know basic maintenance costs and can usually do things myself but I just don't feel like doing this. Furthermore, per the internet: "On average, tire puncture repair will cost you between $10 and $20. The repair will involve getting the tire patched. Some tire dealers will repair a punctured tire for free if you purchased your tire from them. It is really a nice service to have at your disposal, and it makes you want to do business with them again." Max is $20! Go here if you want to waste your hard earned dollars. As for actual service I clearly cannot advise as I won't blow money like others to experience such a luxury service at Tires Plus of tire plugging. I advise you be reasonable and be fair that is the most important thing when it comes to a businesses longevity, and repeat business. read more

I have been here three times. Probably not ever again. First time I came in for an oil change, as my wife drives a fleet vehicle and can only have it serviced at specific chains. I expected to wait at max an hour, but after about 45 minutes, I went up to the desk only to find that they were arguing with the fleet company over the phone about "keeping the customer safe." Apparently they decided to change out the brakes and didn't inform me. I had never noticed a problem with the brakes before, but meh, I had a craving for some Bella's awesome pizza right down the road, so I walked over there for some lunch. When I walked back, I got a song and a dance about how some brake clips were on order but would probably be in when the parts courier got back. No dice. After about 3 hours from walking in the door for the first time, I asked them to put the car back together and I'd come back when they had the clips. I came back in the next morning and they installed the clips. They had coffee and donuts (yum,) but I was still a little ticked that I had to come back for something I didn't authorize. Third time I came in for an oil change after I had found all of the local mechanics' shops closed, as it was a Sunday. This time I asked how long it would take. Estimate: three hours. I then asked if I could come in later when the shop was less busy. They said I'd lose my place in line if I left. But that I could make an appointment for the next weekend. Hello! An oil change! The no-deal was sealed when the guy at the front desk answered the phone in front of me and emphatically apologized for whatever had gone wrong the day before. Didn't take me too long to find another mechanic in the area to service my vehicle. This other place, starting with an F and ending in Stone, only took about a half of an episode of Super Nanny to complete the job. read more

I'm very pleased with the work that Tires Plus does on my car. I'm a hair stylist and I cut CJ's (the new manager) hair, and he's always so helpful and informative when I have questions about my car. They're very quick and thorough without the whole "you need this, this, this, and this in your car. it'll be an extra $300" spill that most car service places try to get you with every time you go in for a simple oil change. My car was actually running on hot today randomly and I called up there and they told me to swing by and they would put coolant in my car until they could take a longer look at it another day. Set up an appointment to have my headlight bulb changed and called in advance (1 day prior) to set up an appointment for 12pm. Arrived and was told it would take 2 hours, which is a little much for replacing a bulb but either way, I came back at 2pm to see the truck had not moved from the original parking spot I parked in at 12pm. I walked up to the desk and said "here to pick up my truck" and was greeted with, it will be next up. What was the point in having an appointment If they don't honor it?? I have other obligations and that's the reason I set an appointment so I would have 3 hours for them to fix the headlight and for me to get to work at 3pm. This is absolutely ridiculous. I've been here now a few times and I'm always impressed with their professionalism and speed. I've started coming here, because my last tire place I went to wouldn't do alignments. So, I would get my tires done, but no alignment. Stupid on the other business' part, but good for Tires Plus, because now I'm coming here. They knew exactly what issues I had once I explained what was happening with my car and replaced my two front tires. It's driving a lot better now. I usually go to the Wade Green location in Kennesaw, but I recently moved to the Smyrna area, so I decided to check out this location. BIG MISTAKE. I needed a new tire replacement and an oil change. I called the shop in advance to confirm they would have the tire in stock. I was quoted the time for the repairs would take approximately 45 minutes to a hour, so I decided to wait for the repairs to be completed. After waiting for two hours, I was informed the replacement tire "had a manufactured defect, and they wouldn't be able to get another unit in the same day". I wasted 3 hours of my time. I went to tires plus a couple weeks ago after my car's tire popped right outside their shop. The employee came out to check my tire and recommended an alignment and new tire. I agreed. My car hasn't been the same since. I felt like I could barely control the steering wheel so I took my car back to tires plus where they said they would fix my alignment. Afterwards not only were things unchanged, but I had two things missing from my trunk including under garments (why would you need those? I feel disgusted and violated now) and a mic that I use for work. I took my car to the dealership, where I was told that tires plus overcharged me and advised me to contact tires plus for a refund on the unnecessary charge. I ended up speaking to a manager who was nice and I did get refunded for the unnecessary charge. But just the fact that I had to show back up to face these people to get the refund made me uncomfortable. I took my car to another mechanic who did make improvements but my car still isn't the same. I live very close to this location and now just have an unsettling gross feeling every time I drive past it. read more
