Yesterday I went to get an alignment. It was kinda crowded. The lobby was hot and the customer service person made a comment about trying to help people who didn't speak English. I went to get an alignment which I signed up for the life time warranty. Mr Sherman was very nice and helpful along with his colleague working that morning. He told me about time and wait. My alignment wasn't off by much at all. But I did get a battery check and got diagnostic with that with the courtesy check. For $200 you get a lifetime alignment versus a one time one nearly half the price so it wasn't too bad for what you pay for. Thanks for the great service read more

My back tire is flat one oh random Friday. I needed to get it changed on Saturday. I called several tire shops and Price shopped around. I was able to find my tires at tire goes for a good rate. On their website, it appeared as though they had early morning appointments however, you could drop your car off early, but the appointment won't set that early. I ended up getting a 9 AM appointment. I was so appreciative at the staff there. Someone went out there way to pick my tires up that morning before they arrived to work so I would not have to wait all day for delivery. I paid a little over 200 for two new tires on my car. NOTE: I did notice some people behind me were upset about Service as far as their warranty.- they were also over-promised, something by an employee that did not come to work that day. I advise following up or going the same day you call. In my case everything worked out. After my service was done, they did provide a list of recommended services with pricing. Maybe I'm impatient, but I came here for one tire . Got here a 15 minutes before my 2pm appt. Stated it was a car in front tire, but the wait for a hour for one tire is ridiculous. Thank you for checking all the other stuff but cause I've already gotten the email for what you've checked. Why is my car still in the air?? Two ppl have come in after me and left. Car is done. Oh now when I crank my car it sounds like a damn truck. It's never sounded like that ever. So if my car starts running funny after this we are going to have issues because I ask the lady in the front what they did. They were only suppose to change the tire and I get the other stuff but this is just for a paper trail cause nothing has been wrong with my vehicle at all because I get it checked continuously with every sound or anything. Yes I get that you stated you only Put a tire on but this noise has never been on my vehicle at all or before I drove across the street. That is my issue. Please don't gaslight me because my father is mechanic. So I know what my car sound like before this which was nothing at all compared to the sound that it is experiencing currently. First time visit and all i needed was a tire rotation and balance. only 3 cars ahead of me. 1 hr later they finally got to me and told me my oil was low and did i want them do change my oil too. i declined since the car recently has an oil change and only had 29k on it. Still under warranty. They finished and rotation and balance was 60.00. Much higher than anywhere else. I got home, checked the oil and it was perfect looked fine. So I paid for my car to be towed here from the highway at 8am. They inspected my car as two tires were flat due to 2 cracked rims from me running into a huge boulder rock on the highway. They Service manager "CJ" said I needed to buy 2 rims and they would put them on. He told me to search google and find and find a place to get my rims and they will put them on . My tires were completely fine besides low tread which they been had that. The technician with his bad attitude was mad that I was not buying new tires & after i went down to the discount tire and paid $507 for 2 new rims. I spent 6 hours at this location for them to say after I came back they can't put them on because " it's against policy and to protect their reputation" to put new rims on old tires. My tires were not old because the tread was low sir. At this point my boyfriend was there and confirming that what they was saying was not true . I even called there Tara blvd location to confirm and they said the that was not true and as long as I buy the rims they will put them on. I told the guy I was gonna call corporate because for one you done waisted my time, i had to work, i had my 5 yr old, & I am pregnant.. talk about frustrating. He wouldn't tell me his name kept saying CJ and corporate knows him by that and that's all i need to know, but his name is Charles. But ,Bet because you got me messed up. I ordered 4 tires and scheduled an appointment for installation. When I arrived, they told me they didn't have the tires and tried to upswell me on tires that were more than $25 more per tire. After speaking with corporate office, they told me to return the next day. I returned the next day and it took them almost 4 hours to change my tires. Mind you that my car were on the lift untouched for over 1 hour before I said anything to them. I watched several people come in after me and leave. I will NEVER visit this location again. read more

Came in for a simple oil change. Soloman on the front end was fine however the tech was a no. They did not fill out my car's discharge paperwork nor did they reset the oil sensor in my car. When I brought it to there attention the technician came out with a youtube video of a difference model and kept trying to prove it's something with my car. I have NEVER had this issue when getting an oil change in the past. After 20 minutes of him saying yea we cant do it and that I will have to go elsewhere to get it reset I drove home and figured it out in 5 minutes. I wouldn't even give this place one star I've literally got the run around and they had me stuck all weekend waiting for a tire to come in that they said would be here the next day. Then tell me they didn't say that like I'm stupid. They are slow and unreliable. Because from the first time I went up there they should have order a new tire I was back up there the next morning with a bigger problem than I had before I came up there. While traveling in Virginia I had to replace the starter on my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I went to Firestone as they are affiliated with Tires Plus. I had the starter replaced for $300 and the next day I was back at the Firestone store getting ANOTHER starter. 6 months and 2000 miles later, yep you guessed it - starter dead. I called Hector Carrasquillo at Tires Plus and took the Jeep to him on the tow truck the next day. In less than 2 hours I was called and told the Jeep was ready to go. When I arrived I was told that the ground cable from the starter to the body of the Jeep was replaced. No charge. Went in last week for an alignment & tire rotation that took about 2 hours with my appointment. The next day I was driving on the highway when my wheel began to shake at 65 mph. I took my car back with an appointment & the guy at the front desk said it would be a $10 charge to check it out & the cost of the balance. From past experiences when I got a tire rotation they automatically balanced my tires. I had spent nearly $300 on the work just a few days before. After speaking with the manager he did the balance "for free". I already hate going to the mechanics as a woman because I feel as though they think they can get over on woman. Please know what you want done to your car before you go to them because they will try to get over on you by leaving out work that goes hand & hand with something else. read more

I was about to take a trip to Tires Plus when I remembered my first encounter with them 2 years ago. Backstory, I stood in the middle of the shop floor at Tires Plus on 138 off Dogwood, while these people were on the other side of the wall just joking amongst one another. The 3 people standing in that room looked around at me at different intervals, yet failed to say one time that they would be right with me, after all no one else is in the shop. After standing there for almost 20 minutes, all of a sudden someone else walks in and it's, may I help you. The problem that I had with that, I'm a woman of color, waited 20 minutes for someone to even acknowledge I was in the room oh, wait for them to acknowledge the white person That entered the room. So clearly, racism is served here with a tire change. IF YOU'RE A PERSON OF COLOR DONOT SHOP HERE! I walked out after giving them a piece of my mind and purchased my tires elsewhere. read more

Please do not take your car to this location. The last time I took it there, I was very clear that I needed my car back no later than 1pm. At 4pm, I was still there after dropping my car off at 8 am. Now my pour daughter has gone through the same thing. She missed 2 appoints with her children's school after being in the shop from 9 am to 1 pm with nothing being done to her car. All she asked for was a wheel alignment, oil change and to check why the car was experiencing a delay when pressing the gas. At 1 pm the car is still on the rack with nothing being done!!!! I completely understand the concept of patience. However time is valuable to me. When you call me at 8am and say you can do something at 10 and I agree then when I get there to verify you tell me I'm not even in your system and the best you can do is 11:00. Then when I ask is that a definite you say well MAYBE 11:30. I was only getting a tire changed. I originally ordered the tire off line and had a great experience with Tirebuyer.com. I ended up asking for my tire I had already purchased and took it up to the tire plus less than a mile from this place and had them put my tire on which they did immediately. Cost me $10. Horrible customer service. Wasn't asking to be put ahead of anyone I was asking a definite time so I can continue my life in oppose to wasting it in a tire shop all day. read more

The receipt showed " no oil change" ( I did not notice until a month later) and the bill was reviewed by clerk with this written form and that was not questioned by employee. My daughter who is a college student had a diagnostic test, they replace battery (which I brought one from pep boys 2 weeks before) and alternator repair here and was charged dealership price for remanufacturers parts. The car is still having problems. She returned to their s location to make sure the battery and alternator was not defective and they would not test the alternator. read more

Well I have been coming to this locations for years. I have always allow only them to change my oil and rotate my tires. So imagine my surprise when I was told I have single digits pads left on all of my brakes and it can hurt my rotors. I feel they should help the customers prevent issues and alert you prior to producing a whopping bill. It costs me extra to fix my brakes and I also needed a brake stick as well. read more
