Absolutely wonderful employees! I highly recommend this location. I recently had to have my car towed there, after a flat tire. There were complications with getting off the flat tire due to locked lug-nuts, that were unfortunately stripped by the last mechanic that worked on it at a different business. The extremely kind mechanic that worked on it this day at tires plus, he worked on it for almost 3 hours manually chipping away at the locked lug nut to get it off. It was my daughter's birthday, and we were out of town, so we would have been stuck in that city, or forced to get a rental and leave my car if he wouldn't have put in the long hours of work trying to get it off. Would give 0 stars if I could. Came here looking for new tires and called someone to compare prices after they gave me a high quote and the employees decided to go outside and say things like "wants to buy an expensive car but won't spend the money on tires" and a bunch of other things. As a young woman this was super disappointing to be treated this way. read more

Would not recommend this Tire Plus location. Specifically due to store manager, very unprofessional. Don't get me wrong the guys that do the labor work good people. Just the Manager is more money hungry then actually wanting to grow with his team and customers. Had an issues and the manger just went bizarre, has anger issues. Started yelling at one of their employees, and costumer. The manager would call the customer "Bro", and would just treat the costumer with disrespect. The place has potential but the way this manger is running things like forcing employees to lie to customers and advertising labor work that was not done,scamming their customers. Wouldn't be shocked if this place lot some good hard working employees that take pride in their work. The costumer was threatened to be banned from this location all because the manager didn't not want to take initiative of being wrong. Has a big ego! Utilized Tires Plus in Venice, FL for a complete auto inspection tire rotation and oil change. I also mentioned a belt make a squealing noise on occasion. After getting my car the belt was still making occasional noise. I then brought my car to my mechanic who does repairs also on my car. I told him about the belt issue and he found a broken front axle causing grease to spray and cause the belt noise. He said the grease was everywhere. My question is did Tires Plus not see this? Did the actually rotate my tires? I've used this store for tires and oil changes but my faith in their complete vehicle inspection is suspect. Won't go back again. Cannot put my trust in those mechanics. read more

I had a shaking in my car 60-65 thought I needed an alignment. The guts at the desk said that wouldn't b alignment that woulf b u nerd a balance. Great that is less money. So they did the balance then told me I need 4 new tures and an alignment. If I need 4 new tires why not tell me before u balance them. Becuz as I found out they balance them when they put the tires on. Then to top it off my neighbor deals with cars for his business but now retired. So I asked him if he thought I needed tires. They looked fine to me. Aftet all what do I know I'm just a female. So becuz I am female or maybe they do this to sveryone, they told me I needed 4 new tires. My neighbor gave me a lesson in the wear line. I am not even close to needing tires. They were new last fall and the car is puy away for the winter. Pretty disappointed as I have hone there for a couple minor things that they took care and didn't try to tell me I needed more. I guess they were just sucking me in snd gaining mu trust before they TRIED to put the screws to me. Everyone beware of Tire plus!! Never again!! Sorry went back to proofread. Buyer beware! I purchase it AT THIS TIRES PLUS, though they keep trying to pretend that I didn't. I mean yeah, I use these tires to accuse tire shops all over town of this kind of bad business. They were brought in, off the car, by my father. I purchase my tires here, In May, of 2021. In January, through no fault of my own, the tire bulged out. They did not intend to back their product. As I was currently in Ocala, when the tire went flat, they wanted to charge me for a new tire. They wanted me to pay something like $75, for the new tire. Why would I give them more money, for products they obviously don't have confidence in, themselves? I've called customer service, to no avail. Do yourself the same favor I did and go spend the $275 at Pep Boys! I'd rather pay more than triple, to get a product that the company installing them will stand behind. I don't just write bad reviews, either. Look at my history, on Google Reviews, you'll see good reviews just as much. read more

As a snow bird, you are always wary of being treated like an outsider. Not so here. I went in with a tire that had been punctured by construction debris. They did a quick evaluation, showed me the recommended replacement and had it mounted, and me back on the road in 30minutes. Flawless! I went back a month later figuring they could help me reset a warning light. The on duty manager got behind the wheel and gave me a quick mini-lesson, no charge. Could not ask for more. read more

my wife was here for 2 new tires. put both new tires on passenger side and gave her somebody elses weather checked/dry rotted spare. just threw in the back of suv instead of under trunk space. went back 2 days later... both news tires put on rear and gave her back "her spare" under trunk space. upon looking closer its the same spare they gave her the first time just hid under trunk space. old tire weights gone and no new weights so the rims didnt get rebalanced and when she breaks at 40+ mph her suv now pulls. have 2 other tires to have mounted needles to say wont be going here for any services. 0/10 wouldnt recomend read more

Stopped here about 2:45 on a Saturday afternoon, displayed store hours says close at 5pm. Had a leaking tire, and was told they can't help me because they close at 5. And was told to find the nearest Walmart or keep driving down the road, there's other shops. Very rude & showed no care for an Active Duty military member. Don't waste your money on shops like these. I would not recommend this business. We had a scheduled appointment at 9:30am. This appointment was confirmed by an email from corporate at 6:45am this morning. We drove 20 minutes to get to the shop and the manager said he had emailed my wife at 7:30 this morning cancelling our appointment yet nothing was received. His answer was "Sorry, I can schedule you for tomorrow, I'm fully booked." Nothing else. It's not like this is just around the corner from my house. This has been a total waste of time. Very friendly service and good prices but be very careful with your service authorization and be sure to double check their work. My service authorization included a package (mentioned but not detailed on the authorization) in addition to the tires I ordered. Little did I know that was a lifetime tire alignment. When the invoice was rung up the total was a good bit higher than what I had been quoted for the tires. Fortunately, the service rep took the additional charge off without too much hassle. When I checked the tire pressure they had overfilled the tires by four or five pounds on each one. Not good for safety or tire wear. read more

Never really had a problem with them before, but recently, the whole service has been awful, over the years, we have spent hundreds of dollars, so to be treated with so much bad service, is so unacceptable, apparently, a warranty on tires means nothing, air was leaking out like crazy, they say, yes, it's covered but can't do anything for 3 days!!!!! I would not recommended this store. The front people are fine, however the mechanics are not careful. I took a tire there for a repair and they missed an additional puncture, and they should have recommended no repair at all - but a new tire with the holes so close together. I watched the people working on the cars and at least on guy looked like he was in a fog. There are better places to do business. read more

I have no real issues with quality of service except for one. On a previous visit, I asked them to make sure they checked the air pressure and add as needed. They said they checked and added. I got home, and saw no change, so I had to make a return trip. Today, I asked the same question, before and after the drop off and pick-up. This time, I checked when I got into the car, and there was NO change in the pressure. At least I didn't have to return from home. They looked my straight in the face, and said they it was done. I wouldn't recomend the business because the suggestion of additional work recommended that wasn't required. My dealership recommended a alignment and they suggested an additional $170.00 wheel bearing issue. The problem was the assistant manager I assume having a poor monthly quoto. Anyway taking it back to dealership to question the dionosed issue found it was falsely given. Be careful with this business, always get a second opinion. read more
