Quick in & out! Was there for just an oil change, called the same day & got in right away. Estimated wait time was right on point so I was very happy to receive what I expected. I also asked if they had any specials going on & received a hefty discount on my service, so that was a great unexpected surprise! When they were done they drove my car to the front and removed a plastic seat cover & paper floor board mat (it was raining). I felt that my car was cared for and my service was quality for a great price! Will definitely be back.

$900 MISTAKE to go here - Horribly-trained staff INTENTIONALLY DESTROYED my OIL DRAIN PLUG when…read morethey used THREAD LOCKER on it after substituting a NON-STANDARD PLUG that was very soft steel on the prior visit, then on this most recent visit they ROUNDED OFF the BOLT HEAD on that horrible drain plug they had substituted in. Seriously my counsel just sent them a DEMAND LETTER for DAMAGES. It was bunch of incompetents trying to remove the plug they intentionally substituted and used thread locker on in the prior visit. WHY? I guess it was to keep me from changing my own oil, but I WAS THE ONE who had to FIX THE PROBLEM because they claimed I did it. Ha! LMAO...NOT! I haven't been under my car in about 15 years, and NO SHOP has worked on it since 2016 - only trips to Valvoline (it's a low miles vehicle that gets minimal use). At least I had not been under it UNTIL NOW to discover what DAMAGE they did and to remove the drain plug that THEY COULDN'T REMOVE. Their own plug - they could not remove it. Note that: They tried to keep customers OUT of their own vehicles for maintenance and they ENDED UP KEEPING THEMSELVES OUT. So I have PHOTOS of the BLUE THREAD LOCKER on the drain plug - they used so much it was coming out the very bottom. It was SEIZED and cost me a WHOLE DRAIN PAN REPLACEMENT plus GASKET and HUGE LABOR to fix this. Yes, that was the cost to FIX their intentional damage to my vehicle. I will post photos of how they DESTROYED THE DRAIN PLUG by repeatedly rounding it off then tapping on a series of ever-smaller 12-tooth sockets, which just rounded it MORE. It's so soft (their plug!) and so damaged (their un-trained crew actions) that the bolt head formed a TUNNEL as you can see in the photos. This makes me doubt ever going to an oil change place again. My counsel is sending them the bill with a letter telling them they'll end up in litigation if they don't pay it. IT'S THAT BAD. Some history: I started using oil change places about 15 years ago because I hated the hassle and time of working on cars, despite mostly knowing what I was doing from having been a precision machinist (you name a machine, I did setup and production on it, including CNC-everything) for a large defense contractor for YEARS. So I -could- do labor but I figured "what could they screw up in an oil change?" I found out: EVERYTHING. Now, because these people are SO INCOMPETENT, and so PERNICIOUS in trying to keep me from working on my own car (using thread locker, replacing my drain plug with a smaller bolt size and softer aftermarket plug, rounding off the bolt) now I have no choice in the future because these guys want to thread-lock and over-torque EVERYTHING. NIGHTMARE. THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CAR. STAY AWAY FROM THIS VALVOLINE - Corner of Semoran 436 at Old Cheney Hwy. In fact, I will be avoiding ALL VALVOLINE EVERYTHING - all shops, all VALVOLINE PRODUCTS, EVERYTHING. These people LIE to your FACE and DENY RESPONSIBILITY. They even tried to lie to me about how long since the last oil change (was 24 months, they said 3 years) - like I'm some sort of idiot who can't do math or something. Just HORRIBLE... Will update whether they pay for their mistake or not. Something tells me they will not take responsibility.

I've been coming to this location exclusively for over 3 years for both of my vehicles. Prior to…read morethese recent oil changes I enjoyed taking my car here. I would get a drink or smoothie and they would change my oil and tell me about the condition of my car, I always felt like they did their due diligence. On this occasion I ask the tech if he could let some air out the front driver's side tire as it was a new one and was at 50 while the rest were at 30. He said he did, I told him the sensor still showed that tire filled more still. He again assured me when I drives little it would adjust. It didn't I had to stop and let out the additional air. They showed the engine filter, and oil level as usually and printed out the paper and explained the recommended services and we was out of there. Well a week later I heard this dragging sound when I got off work, arrived home and saw a piece of the bottom of my car dragging. I returned and was made aware that there were bolts missing from the skid plate and that is what was dragging. I did pulled out the invoice and to my surprise it was there. First- why was that not mentioned in the 10min talk about the recommended services. Well now I had to go back to have them secure it. They advised me to call customer service to have them file a claim. Customer service advised that I would get a response in two business days. That was Tuesday- I didn't hear anything so on Saturday I followed up and was advised the store manager had no idea I filed a claim. Now I'm still waiting on an update as to when I can come back to have them replace the skid plate.

During service, I was instructed to start my vehicle while a battery diagnostic device was still connected. My car stalled in the bay, required 4-5 jump attempts, and the first jump source was not strong enough, requiring a different battery jump starter. Shortly after, my battery failed and had to be replaced for over $200. When my mother and I attempted to resolve the issue, the area manager, Mike, raised his voice, spoke over us, and repeatedly dismissed our concerns. He stated that we were "uneducated" and told us we "needed to get our facts straight" if we were going to describe what happened. The interaction felt intimidating and gaslighting, as our firsthand experience was repeatedly denied. Video footage was shown selectively and narrated by management, with no opportunity for independent or neutral review. I was also incorrectly told the battery was purchased from Advance Auto Parts in 2022. I later found my receipt showing it was purchased from Firestone on 12/21/23, it was under two years old, and still under warranty, meaning we were sent to the wrong retailer based on inaccurate information. Mistakes can happen, but the service error, misinformation, and hostile management response were extremely disappointing. I recommend documenting everything carefully if you use this location

I had a nail in my tire and I arrived at 5:45 pm and by 6:00 pm I was able to drive safe to my house. I had stopped during my lunch hour and asked DJ the manager, if I could come back after work. They close at 6:00 pm, but he said that they would wait for me. I had called other places, but they refused to help me because of the time. Not DJ, he even called me and let me know that he had reserved the tire for me and that Abdul would wait for me to install the tire. If I had gone home with that tire, I would have had a flat in the morning and it would have been hard to get it fix and be at work at 7:30am. They were my angels. Thank you DJ and Abdul, I will never forget what you did for me. God Bless you, Gladys Garcia

I came in the next morning for the appointment where I was greeted by Trevor. He informed me that I did not have an appointment. I showed him my call history and told him that I called the day before and made an appointment. He said that it wasn't their phone number, so I showed him on google where it is the phone number connected to his location. He seemed inconvenienced to accommodate me, but agreed to fit me in. About an hour later, I received a phone call where Trevor told me that I needed a brake fluid flush, a coolant flush, and a spark plug tuneup. I told him that I just had my brakes replaced and just got a new engine with new spark plugs. He continued to advise me that I needed these services and specifically told me that my brake fluid failed a test of some kind. I called the people who replaced my brakes, and they assured me that I did not need a brake fluid flush. I confirmed that my dealership did a coolant flush and replaced the spark plugs. I tried to call back but was left on hold, so I hung up and returned to the dealership. I told Trevor that I had confirmed that my car doesn't actually need any of the services he said I needed, and he rather snarkily responded "it was a simple recommendation based on the mileage." My impression of this interaction was that this Firestone location was actively trying to sell me unnecessary services either 1) knowing that I didn't need them or 2) without confirming that I did need them. It left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not be returning to this location.
