This place is a joke. I had a 10 am appointment for a tire rotation, sounds easy, right? I got there at 9:30 cause I was in the area. I walked to the counter and said hello and was yelled at "be with you shortly" No hello no smile, nothing. Anyway, I checked in and then I waited and waited and waited and then I was told I was next and then I waited some more. It got to the point that I asked for my keys and left. Shitty customer service, shitty people at the counter, no one working in the back. Have 3 cars up with no one doing anything. Good luck getting a type of service from these guys. read more

Excellent service which began with my call to the shop. JB listened, understood my problem and told me my options for repairing or replacing my tire ***based on what I told him***. He very clearly explained that until they saw the car, they couldn't confirm what would be required. I appreciated this! Diagnosing sight-unseen would have been a red flag to me. Everything went as planned. Better, actually, as I was in and out much faster than expected and the repair price was very reasonable! I called Tires Plus because my car has been shaking at high speeds after having tires replaced, and I wanted to bring it in to have someone look at it. Before my car was even there, the technician immediately started telling me that it would not be the tires and that it was probably something expensive to fix. The problem is I never said it was the tires. I simply wanted to schedule a time to have the car looked at. It was frustrating to be talked over and have someone start diagnosing the vehicle without even seeing it or listening to the actual concern. All I was asking for was a basic inspection appointment. Instead, I got attitude and assumptions over the phone. Customer service matters. Taking a moment to listen before jumping to conclusions would go a long way. read more

Took my truck in for some repairs and got a quote for 3100,authorized the repairs and left. Got one phone call that my vehicle was ready pickup. When I arrived amd went to pay they told me my total was gonna be 3700 dollars. 600 more than the quote. When I asked why they said they had to add extra parts on. They did it with put my authorization!!!!!! I told the gentleman I was quoted 3100 and that's all im paying, after 15 minutes of telling him I wasn't paying and I wanted my parts back on he took off enough to make it to 3100. I was at the store yesterday and purchased tires. Adams (yes, plural) was such a pleasure to deal with. It was apparent he cared about his employees as much as he did his customers. That is something you never see in 99.9% of businesses. He was very professional and worked with me. He was extremely knowledgeable and kind. I would recommend anyone going to his store. Not friendly staff. I had an appointment a day ahead, and they promised they would have the tires. But they were still short when I got there. Also, they had to redo the alignment, as it wasn't correct the first time. Having said that, they have the filthiest bathrooms I've seen in a retail establishment in a long time. Not very customer friendly. They also did not offer me a receipt, saying it would come to me by email. Funny because they never asked me for the email and seemed reluctant to give me a hard copy. Even though I had an appointment I was told there would still be a two and a half hour wait. I moved on to another tire shop and was taken care of immediately even though they were busy. One counter Employee is super nice, helpful very courteous. another, is the complete opposite. Sadly, I've engaged with the second one twice, he was dismissive twice. I bought 4 tires and a front end alignmen, thank goodness I dealt with the good employee. I had a concern with one of the tires, I stopped in to have someone look at it, completely dismissive. Trying to scam more money for you to spend for services not needed. Went in for a simple oil change and got suggested quotes which were far more expensive than other places I've been. If you go in for an oil change be prepared to be over charged and quoted on other services you didn't ask for. read more

Took my car in to have two tires replaced. In the brief time that it took for them to do this, all of the freon in my AC "disappeared" somehow. My AC was blowing COLD COLD COLD when I brought the car in. I gave them my keys, they replaced the tires. When they were finished, I turned the car on, and there was no AC. Zero. I took the car home, and immediately checked the freon level with an accurate gauge, and there was almost no freon. I purchased freon and recharged the system. Three weeks later, my AC still blows COLD COLD COLD. No leaks. So as far as I can figure, either a lot of freon "escaped" from my car all by itself while the car was in their custody (and then the leak sealed itself), or someone decided to mess with me for some reason. Oh, and along the way, I get an email from them about all the service that my car needs. I didn't ask for that. I just wanted my tires changed. I'd never go back. Ever. read more

Adams is a really nice guy. I tore a hole in my tire and desperately needed a two new tires plus an alignment just a few hours before I had to be at work. Adams promised me it would be done in three hours his team was able to do it in an hour and 20 minutes on a Saturday with a full garage and no appointment. My family has been coming here for years and we won't stop. These are honest guys that aren't looking for a quick buck. Thank you guys again for allowing me to get to work on time. read more

We were very pleased to find this business open on Sunday. We had low tire pressure sensor come on for our vehicle. We had taken it to one place and they said it was fixed. Well it was Back on again so we took it Tire plus. They fixed the Tire and No More problems! The workers were courteous and Kept us informed. The price wasn't bad but I brought my car here to get an alignment and 2 new tires and I went to work on my breaks the next day, they had ruined almost off my lug nuts. We bent the tire iron cross trying to get my tire off and still couldn't get it. So when we took it back for them to fix it and give me new lug nuts to replace the ones they ruined, they said they wouldn't give me new ones because we had no proof it was them. This is probably my 5th time coming to this shop and I've never had an issue with anything. There has been some issues that my car has had and they always make me aware of it. The prices can be high on services mainly because of the labor but in the end you pay for what you get. Tires plus is always running promos which helps out a lot. Not sure why people have had bad experiences but it's expected that things will happen with your vehicle especially when you have to drive everywhere in Florida. In the end I always leave with a peaceful mind that my car will keep running and get me through my daily 140 mile drive to work. read more

Called Tires Plus on Gall Blvd to inquire if they replaced brake lines. I was told by the manager Juan that they do. I had my vehicle towed to their facility. Juan called me later in the day to say that all of my brake lines needed to be replaced, along with the calipers, rotors and pads. I said ok. Then I was told I should come get my car and take it to a dealership. I explained that I had it towed there because they told me they replace brake lines. He said he could not find all the parts he needed. I told him I was able to locate all the parts online. He said they only use certain stores. I asked if he had called all of them. He admitted he had not. I asked if he wanted to try calling them and get back to me. He replied no. He then told me "THE MECHANIC DOESN'T WANT TO DO THE JOB". Why not just tell me that in the first place? So I was tasked with getting my vehicle to another shop. Long story short, if it's not an easy job, they don't want it. read more

After getting a warning from my TPMS that my right rear tire on our 2014 Buick LaCrosse I pulled in to Tires Plus as they were close. They were too busy to get it right in so I proceeded to take the now flat tie off and get the donut on. Since we had nearby shopping to do I just left the tire for repairs. An hour or so later the shop called with bad news, the tie had suffered a puncture in the side wall and could not be fixed, they recommended a different brand tire of the same size for $185+tax, etc. I opted for a 2nd opinion. I took my now unmounted tire to Jim's Tire Service in Dade City after I had called. They also did not have the same tie in stock but had one of the same size for $115+tax, etc. When I arrived I was instantly met at the car and my tie and wheel was taken to the service area. I explained what I had been told, he closely examined the tire, found a small hole that he repaired with a very small patch on the inside, remounted the tire, checked for any more leaks and found NONE!! The cost was $18 + a $10 tip for not only a job well done but saved me $165+! If you are any where near Jim's Tire Shop in Dade City and need tires or service you won't find nice guys or better honest service plus a fair price. FIVE STARS FOR THEM! read more

Had a rear brake job done over two weeks ago on the rear with all new drums. Had to bring it back after a week because of a clicking sound when I was braking. They said they adjusted it and it should be better. Had to bring it back AGAIN for the same clicking sound and the tech and the front office clerk questioned me about the sound once again because he couldn't hear it when braking in the parking lot. Finally took it on the road and he finally heard it, and blamed it on my tire. Told him it was only when I brake and that it wasn't happening before the brake job they did. At no time did they apologize for me having to come back in and acted like it was all my fault.... still waiting at the shop now. It is my fault for choosing this business, should have trusted the last yelp review from a month ago which was not recommended on the main page......wonder why? read more

had appointment was out within a hour/ for slow tire leak and tire rotation However driving home noticed louder noise which was not there before the tire rotation. I figure maybe because tires from rear to front may need some milage to wear in ? But also the slow tire leak which is now on FRONT/ because of rotation is losing AIR checked today it was 26# all other tires 32-33# So not sure the LEAK was actually fixed ? also on receipt says tire balanced friend says the noise that only started after rotation says MAYBE tire (s) where not balanced. read more

took over 4.5 hours for an oil change and they damaged my oil plug

Made a noon appointment for alignment and wheel balance and dropped off truck at 11:45. We were told it would be ready by 5pm as that's when they close. We showed up at 5 to pick up the truck and they had not even started on it as we saw them driving the truck in the garage 15 minutes later. They finished at 6:40 so almost 7 hours for an alignment and wheel balance and that's with an appointment. The bill came to $150 so when asked for a discount for the hours we waited they said no. We will never go back which is a shame because the technician did do a great job with the alignment. read more

went in for two tires. was sold two tires quality of tires good and price higher to anywhere else but thought service would make up for it. was told new tires should be put on back so I agreed. well developed a shimmy in the front I took off the tires and found that 2 of the three weights had been removed causing the wobble. put the new tires on the front guess what no wobble! they are very aggressive to up sell you. and this proves they wanted to sell me two more unneeded tires,these tires have about 15 k on them ......nice try I worry about you who aren't car savy!
