In May we took a car in for tires and had an oil change done. They had to order the air filter so sent our son home to come back later for it. As soon as he left the shop the check engine light came on. Called them and went back. Tech said they forgot to put the old air filter in so he should be fine now. We have had problems since and ultimately it was determined that we need a new engine. Manley is stating that there is NO way they did not put the filter in; they don't make mistakes like that and they have no idea why their employee would have said that but talked to him. The camera footage was already destroyed so they can't show us it was put in either. Had an employee say they were busy and that's when mistakes get made but the owner assures us it didn't happen and as long as that's what he says then it's our problem. Interesting when you read all the errors they make and how they have never filed with the BBB. The owner told us incorrect information regarding his insurance company and then dropped communication. He did file a claim with his insurance, but as long as he stands by it not being their fault then insurance is useless. Had car towed to another shop and video footage shows gouging in the cylinder. I'm not a mechanic but what I have learned is that debris can cause gouging and debris can get in an engine from an air filter being left out so if a car goes in with no issues as confirmed by their diagnostics but leaves with engine problems it seems VERY likely something happened during that service appointment. It seems much less likely that an engine that was fine, had 87k miles just broke down within a couple of miles of leaving their shop coincidentally like the owner is telling us. Each time you walk in you're greeted promptly, you're offered drinks while you wait (coffee, water), you can wander through the other sections to see cars as you like, and the class of the BMW model is held high here. !! When coming in for a service, be sure to go over what services you'll be having done and the price. Recently a vehicle check (for $80) was done on my car that I didn't need, want, or ask for (but was due for). So when I received my bill it was $269.00 vs. $170.00 that I'd anticipated. I was told the checks were free from reception when setting up my service.That was a complimentary service on the vehicle, not a diagnostic. (Diagnostics are plugging in a computer, reading codes, and deleting any erroneous pop up codes, or resetting. It takes 5 ish minutes) Their diagnostics cost $80. Oil change for some years are $160. Be sure to know what you're in for before getting your service completed to have the transparency you most likely care to see in transactions. I would have liked to know my costs before receiving services like with any purchase. If costs aren't agreed to beforehand, don't do the service. If the services are done without costs agreed to, don't charge for the service you've done without permission. *This was absolutely not done with malicious intent, simply a communication error. (An $80 one ) 8/10+

We were able to get it to Sioux Falls and the Mercedes Service center here got us right in first thing the next morning and diagnosed it and replaced the whole EGR valve by 12pm. It was a warrantied job but they also rotated our tires for us, all while being very pleasant and kind (which has not been our experience at all MB service centers). We are very grateful! I purchased my certified preowned VW Atlas cross sport In July 2025. In August, I found out that a…read morerecall relating to loose bolts in the chase and or braking system had been issued in June 2025 prior to me purchasing the certified pre owned vehicle . I called graham of Sioux Falls right away to schedule the repair. I was encouraged to schedule 3-4 weeks out to ensure a loaner would be available and that service would be ordering the parts right away. I was also reassured by Graham that my vehicle would be safe to drive in the intrum. I scheduled my repair for Oct 3 (almost 6 weeks out) and took a vacation day to come to Sioux Falls For the repair. I was in route to Sioux Falls October 3 when I received a call from the service department telling me all the parts had not come in (this call came in at just before 2pm) and I would have to reschedule mid to late November. I was very concerned about driving the vehicle even longer without the repairs being done but was reassured again by service that it would be safe to drive. An Appointment date was not offered during this call. I called back 6 days later to inquire about an appointment and to ask about the parts. I was told by service that yes all the parts were in but the service department is so busy, they could not get me in until mid to late November. I was very upset that I had already waited a reasonable amount of time for the repair and now I have to wait another 4-6 weeks as well as heightened concerned for the safety of driving the vehicle. Service again reassured me it would be safe to drive. No appointment was offered. So I called back again to speak to the manager. I was given his voicemail by a not so friendly receptionist. I left a message explaining my concerns and dissatisfaction (on Oct 10th). I had not received a call back so I sent an email on Oct 15 to Graham of Sioux Falls explaining this situation, my extreme dissatisfied, and complete surprise by the lack of follow-up and service recovery. I have yet to receive a call back from the service manager or a response from my email or a call to schedule this recall repair work and it is now Oct 20th, just over two months from my initial call. I would also need to schedule another vacation day to bring my car back to Sioux Falls for the repair and now my work schedule is made out through November. This is completely unacceptable. Recall work should be done in a reasonable timely manner and this does not seem like it. Also when I purchased the vehicle, I was told an oil change had been completed. There was a sticker on the windshield stating it had been completed but my vehicle's states that an oil change is over due. Because of this, I would NOT recommend Graham of Sioux Falls.
