I have been using Titan since 1995. My parents and sibling also use Titan. We have been satisfied 90% of the time. The other 10% we reached out and they rectified the issue. When making an appointment, I can request first stop of the day. It may make my service date further in the future but I am at work by 9am. The consistency in technicians is appreciated. Everyone I have recommended to Titan has had a good experience for routine maintenance or HVAC overhaul. read more

There are barely words to express my utter delight and amazement with Titan. I am a female and have had constant issues with my condo since I purchased it. Erik and Aaron replaced my HVAC system and have been available to answer my many questions and they even taught me how me how to work my system. They are patient and very kind people. Also dealing with Camille and the other office administrators has been nothing short of wonderful. Stay away. Owner is dishonest and a thief. He is holding ~$30,000 or my 50% deposit for months. We engaged Titan to replace 4 HVAC units at Riverview Plaza. The tenant ended up using someone else to replace them and didn't tell anyone. Titan proceeded to keep the 50% deposit and the units. The only cost to them was they had to load the units on a truck and drive the truck to the site and then drive the truck back and unload it. That's maybe worth $1k of labor. We now have to sue them to get our money back. read more

If I could give a negative score I 100% would. I am currently pursuing a BBB claim against Titan. A transformer blew in my neighborhood causing an electrical surge that impacted dozens of homes in Ross Park in early December. Titan came on 12/6/22 and replaced a fuse, at which time the furnace was operational. They charged $125 for the service call and $144 to replace the fuse. Less than 30 days later, on 1/5/22, my furnace failed again. They claim they have a "30-day guarantee" but when I referenced that and asked if they would charge an additional fee for coming, they said yes, it's not within the 30 days and it's a different issue. I asked how they could know that, and both people I spoke with (a woman and a man at the main number) said "because it worked for 30 days." I went around in circles with both of them regarding their policy asking for a copy of it, and they refused to help until finally, the man said "maybe we're not the right company for you" to which i replied "so you're not going to honor the 30 day guarantee?" His response was "we can get someone out there but we're going to invoice you." I guess it's fine for them to take your money, but when you have an issue they're going to drop you like a hot potato and aren't going to honor their "30-day guarantee." I reached out to 3 other HVAC companies, Sullivan, Macioce's, and Wade, who all confirmed there is no way to know if the current outage was related without having someone look at it, as there could be underlying problems that were missed during the initial inspection. After going with Sullivan, they determined that the main control board failed due to an electrical issue (most likely from the initial power surge) that was not addressed upon the initial diagnosis. read more

STAY AWAY, From Titan's out right rip off style pricing to the most unprofessional nature of handling of customer service i have everseen, and directly delt with . Titan makes dealing with the cliche' examples of the Verizons, Comcast's customer servicelines feel like an absolute dream! Absolutely awful. Performed inadequate work followed by a string of inadequate repairs. Multiple visits to the house, with each visit being worse than the last. Titan should be avoided, but yet investigated for deceptive & fraudulant business practices. Examples: They where requested to perform replacments to duct work both supply and returns. The work was so bad Ttian actually heated and cooled my basement starving the rest of the supply runs to the rest of the house with holes, gaps, even MISSING pieces to misaligned duct work. Mind you access to the duct work was fully accessable ZERO obstructions. As I started to see a common thread I then dove deeper into the shooty work that someone without arms, whom couldnt see could would indentify, only to uncover even more. From wiring that a MASTER ELECTRICAN confirmed would have set fire to the house, to such pure ignorance\negligance of their so called trade to be "EMULATED". Who installs a thermostat on an exterior wall 1 ft off from a window, get this even after agreeing to them being able to identify the most optimal efficent location. Meaning one would need to take various readings to best determine this location rather than your drucken attempt in defining the location as industry standard. The list can and should go on but my attorney will be stepping in to resolve the matter. If I can help give my true review in effort to assist ANYONE out there to AVOID this place, these people, their name in any way to end business' such as this please take the time to consider this and many other "like-minded & expierenced" reviews to protect yourself. Titan has been my HVAC contractor for 16 years. This past week they came and performed a service call as requested. I was not at home but my wife was. There is absolutely no doubt that the service-man overcharged her knowing she did not know what the true cost should be. In short, Dave spent less than an hour fixing my HVAC with a $42 part. My final bill was $460 . When I realized what had happened, I contacted Titan and got their answering operator who took down my information. Several days later and I have received no correspondence. They have lost a customer and are about to find out how tired in I am to the local community. read more

You most certainly can "beat the service" you get from the "folks at Titan." They installed a new heater for us in February, and a new hire installed it. Left behind a broken light (left shattered bulb on ground). Tried to sell us a new AC unit recently for over $3,000, saying our old one was shot, had a leak, etc. Brought in another AC outfit, they changed filter and repaired existing unit for under $170. Will not use them again. read more

We have a split ductless A/C heating unit in our family room. The unit started flashing an error code. Titan came to "fix" the problem we were having on 1/28/2016. Their technician diagnosed and "fixed" the issue. Titan is listed on the manufacture website as an approved service provider. Ha! On 10/13/16 the same error code started flashing again on our unit. Again, we called Titan. The Technician that came this time told us the issue was not fixed correctly the first time and the technician that did the first "fix" was no longer with the company. We were not offered any solution to the fact that we had now paid twice to fix the same problem because it was not fixed correctly the first time. Fast forward to 11/19/17 and the same error code is flashing on our system. We called Titan and were told that they only have a 30 day warranty and there is nothing they could do for us. Of course they offered to charge us $98 for the first 15 minutes to send someone out to look at it. What horrible business practices! We were charged twice in 9 months for them to "fix" the same issue and now have to have someone come again for the same problem. The unit is only 3 years old! I will not be using or recommending Titan to anyone!!!!!! If your technicians are not trained to properly fix an issue it should be the employers responsibility to make it right not the customers!!!!!!! Both times they had to fill the unit with refrigerant. The unit works until the level drops below a certain point. It's not going to drop in 30 days! If done properly the level never drops! A good company takes responsibility for their employees mistakes, they don't continually charge the customer for something that was fixed correctly the first time!!!!!! read more

I could not get ahold of my previous air conditioner guy after 3 tries (guess they were busy), so called Titan since they were listed as working on ductless air conditioners. Should have waited for first company to come!!! I will say Titan responded quickly. Previously, I needed coolant added and it would run fine for a year. So, that was what I wanted done. He tried repeatedly to convince me to "fix" the unit, since he felt there were leaks in the system. Long story short, he charged me 98.00 for 15 minute service call and 75.00 a pound for the coolant, compared to $35.00 May heating and air charged me exactly one year ago. He said I needed 3 pounds, when last year it was just one. I'm not saying he was wrong about the amount I needed, as that could have changed from last year, but by then I was already feeling ripped off. So including labor, price was $358.00 versus $165.00 last year. Will not be calling them again. read more

A while ago, Carrier offered a promotion for long term 0% financing for air conditioner purchases. We called Titan and A Comfort Service to come out and give estimates. Eric, the owner, came out himself. Not only was he almost a full thousand dollars less than than his competitor (for a higher tonnage unit, I might add), but he was more knowledgeable and much better at explaining what we needed and why. Where the guy from ACS was saying things like, "It's better, believe me.", and other empty sentences without explanation, Eric took the time to explain things like why getting a new two phase furnace along with the air conditioner would more efficiently heat and cool our house (we live in a Maronda home and have some issues with circulation on the top floor. While he was bidding, he also set up our April Air system! The installers were great guys who were very polite and clean. Our old furnace was set up so that I had to remove a door in order to change the filter, so they resituated everyting so that I can slide it right out and replace it now. Awesome job all around, and it was actually LESS than the other guy: you usually don't get it that way, but Titan delivered well! read more
