I emailed them two different times and they never responded. So I called them and a guy told me that the person in charge of online orders happened to step out (sure) and they supposedly took my name and number. I never got a call back. Jenny was so super sweet and friendly, and worked with me on a date and time to bring my rings in. The same day I dropped them off, they were back on my finger. The final result truly blew my mind and brought back the shine and luster that they once had. They look like I just got married yesterday! I am more mindful about taking care of my rings, and learned that I really need to get them re-dipped once a year for upkeep. This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had. My fiancé got me a custom engagement ring made in London... it was a little big so we took it to Tivoli to see if they could resize it. They assure me it's easy peasy and will be ready in a couple days. A week later they call me to tell me it's ready. I was so excited to finally wear my ring.... I go there, pay the $125 resizing fee, put the ring on and notice the stone is cracked in two spots. I point this out and the jeweler comes out and implies we gave it to him like this. Knowing we didn't come in with a flawed stone he says he will replace the stone and it'll be ready in a week. Fine. Two weeks later I get a call my ring is ready. Go in, stone is replaced however all the gold plating (the ring is silver and gold plated) has been buffed off and the ring is mainly silver now. I explain yet again this is not how I gave the ring to them and show a photo... the jeweler AGAIN refuses to take accountability and says "well that'll happen over time anyway". He finally offers to replate the ring and tells me how he keeps taking a loss (the stone, the replating) and is clearly annoyed we are pointing out his mistakes. A couple weeks later I get a call my ring is ready. I go in, everything looks ok .... i go home & notice the prongs on the side stones are shorter and a couple are pointy, before I even can take it back (or to someone else) the next day I look down and see one of the side stones is completely missing. I go in the next day to tell them about the THIRD thing that has gone wrong since giving them this one of a kind ring and the jeweler claims "you must have broke the stone". Every time he made a mistake he simply made terrible excuses and would speak to me like I was an idiot. He eventually offers to replace the side stones... I explained I didn't want to leave my ring with them again and he says "I'm not a magician I can't fix it while you're wearing it". Obviously. I explain how I do not trust him with my ring anymore, how I "had" the ring for over two months and got to wear it for less than a day, had to push back my engagement shoot and how disappointed I was with the service I was provided. He simply could care less about completely ruining my ring and making it unrecognizable from the one I brough I brought my ring to another jeweler who fixed all of Tivolis mistakes for a fraction of the price Tivoli charged me. Do NOT trust this jeweler to alter your jewelry in any way if you care about it!!!! Most of all, as upsetting as it was to not be able to wear my engagement ring for four months, the worst part of this whole ordeal was how I was spoken to. How the jeweler completely refused to take responsibility for his mistakes and speaks to his customers like they are completely ignorant. I strongly advise against Tivoli at all costs. read more

I wish I could give this place a zero star. I had a very simple pendant made by them (a circle with my own diamond embedded for $300) and the brief was to make it in white gold (like a previous pendant they made and had a photo of for reference). Instead they made the pendant in yellow gold. What's more, I turn up to pick up the pendant and they make me wait 30 min to fix a scratch they'd just noticed - I don't know what they mean by fix, because the pendant still had faults all over it. They then refused to refund me, and condescendingly told me "good luck" in finding another jeweler. Rude, shoddy work, just awful. read more

I just brought in a pair of gorgeous handmade earrings that I really love that I want to wear for my wedding. They just didn't hang right on my ears and sort of fell at different lengths so I needed them adjusted. Recently, he lost a very sentimental bracelet and was crushed by this event. My siblings and I looked long and hard to find him a worthy replacement. We found what we thought would live up to his standards online. No dice. So it was back to the drawing board. One day, I randomly walked by and eventually went into Tivoli. Although my original intent was to look at the ID bracelets, I got distracted by their nice selection of watches. I then had them clean my 5 year old tag hauer. For a reasonable price, they made it look as good as new (no joke- it was perfect). Okay, back to the bracelet. I think I went their five times in the process of looking, taking a bracelet home, dad disapproving, and repeat. I had three people at Tivoli tirelessly helping me find the perfect one. As a result of Tivoli's unrelenting assistance, I found a bracelet that my father loved. The fact that it ended up being even cheaper than the one we originally found online was indeed the icing on the cake. I am not the easiest customer to please (perhaps I get this from my dad), but I value good service and in the end I am loyal to those loyal to me. I'm a bit annoyed because of their poor communication to potential consumers. Since I'm travelling from Queens, I called Tivoli to confirm that they were opened on Sundays. The representative said that they WERE NOT opened on Sundays. However, if you Google Tivoli Brooklyn online you will see that it is opened on Sundays from 12-5pm. My boyfriend then called again to double-check and then he said they WERE opened this Sunday. My boyfriend explained the situation of how I called and was told something else and he went to explain how they don't open every Sunday but since they were closed on Saturday for the New Year they would open on Sunday from 12-5pm. So guess what happened when we went there on the Sunday (today) that we confirmed would be open? They were CLOSED. I only came here because a friend referred us and I overlooked the first incident.
