I have been trying to find a Mexican restaurant that make some great chilaquiles. Unfortunately, the ones I've found are either drenched in red sauce with no flavor or dry with no cheese. I realized that my first review to this place, was not enough/sufficient to truly describe my amazing experience here. I come here usually around 11am with a friend. What I absolutely LOVE about this place is it's DELICIOUS tasting food, and NICE staff. AUTHENTIC. The Food: You can taste the flavor of the meats; so juicy and savory. OH MY, I literally cannot get enough of their asada. The Staff: We're always greeted by this very nice lady, who almost immediately seats us. The staff is very attentive, checking in later on to make sure we're all good. Overall, my experience here is always lovely, and the food, OH MY, it's to lick your fingers afterwards. read more

Initially on my first ever visit a month ago I went to this little place and it was that day a 6 star visit. I went a second time and quality went down. The carne asada was dry and oily. I asked for french fries and the ones I got were old not fresh. The best item was the can coke. 3,Rd and last time it was the same as my 2nd visit. Fries tasted old. Like sitting a while on a warmer. Super yummy and affordable. They didn't have what I wanted in a combination plate but accommodated my request so I didn't have to order a la carte. The beans and rice reminded me of my grandmas. We were regulars at this restaurant up until today. We placed a phone order, and CLEARLY ordered a burrito + a torta combo. The Spanish speaking lady who took our phone order seemed to be in a rush (with a slight attitude) and focused more on "What type of torta" I wanted, then told us it would be ready in 15 minutes. When we got home we noticed we were missing the fries that come with the torta combo. I called the restaurant and the same Spanish speaking lady answered. I told her that the fries for the torta combo were missing. She became upset and told me " Oh pues yo creo apunte la torta como sola, no combo y asi se cobro " I asked her how much is a torta and burrito alone? She said 7.99 ea. I then asked her and the torta combo? She said combo was $9.99 (it's a a 2 dollar difference!) Anyway, she told me we were not charged for the fries and sounded very upset. She then asked "Do you want to come for the fries ? I said yes, on our way. When we got there she started questioning my partner if she had charged him for the sodas ? Asking all kinds of questions ($22 and some change was the charge ) She was making a scene in front of other customers so My partner just told her to keep her fries and took off. The owner was present and he said nothing! If anything the one that is TAKING orders is that melolenga lady! If she got the order wrong that's on her ! All she had to do was apologize and give us the order of fries ! On the receipt she gives no items are shown so only they know what they charge! The OWNER and her need to learn Customer Service skills. Msg To the owner; Remember it's not smart to lose a loyal customer over $2 difference on some fries! The customer is always right if you want your business to survive COVID-19 because with that type of attitude you'll lose many more customers. read more

Extremely dissatisfied.... We came here for breakfast to try it out, first off the place is super tiny and the waitress seemed like she was new, she forgot the utensils, forgot the drinks, forgot the napkins. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, when I received them I took a bite and almost had to spit it out. They were Extremely spicy..... And I can eat spicy foods but this was the uncomfortably spicy.... I tried to power through but just couldn't. When I told the waitress she gave a chuckle and said "Oh yeah we've had this happen many times".......... REALLY? This has happened many times and you still haven't changed the recipe or at the very least tell the customer it's extremely spicy. Never coming back. read more

This place used to be so good. Sadly they have started producing less than quality food, the prices took a huge hike up and the waitress with the painted on eyebrows literally gives you dirty looks. She HATES her job. I don't know why they don't just fire her and keep the little Mexican lady. One of their best items was the huevos rancheros.... I don't know why they would change the recipe! The tortas are no longer what they were either. I don't get it. If they're going to charge more AND skimp on quality AND have bad service... That's a 3 strikes your out for me.
