They still charge 5 cents for a bag so plan accordingly or park as close to the front as you can. This is my local spot since it's only 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive. I only come here whenever I have time to meander for stuff I want, not need and often time I score big. My latest was a set of two planters with big water drainage for $14.99 on New Year Eve.

I don't go for or expect Nordstrom level customer service, spotless fitting rooms or quick check out lines. Point being, set your expectations! Since I had just gone to the Ross in Eastport Plaza, I decided to take SE 82nd to get home so I could stop in this Ross too. They all have different inventory so it's always worth a quick drop in and walk through the store. Today I found a gorgeous jumpsuit by Calvin Klein for $49 and I've seen it at Macy's for $129. Same exact one. Also bought an on trend pair of leopard print pants. I know, sounds like a street hooker. But they really are somewhat tame, no pun intended! I plan on wearing them around the house as loungeware because the material is so soft, they have pockets, and they are a loose, wide leg style. For $11.99, I couldn't leave them behind. It was Friday around dinner hour so the store was not crowded and checkout was fast. If you go during lunch hours when it's busy, the lines are often long because for some reason, they have less cashiers working during the busiest time. Like all Ross they have the annoying "greater" as you walk in, not adding to the experience at all. I smile and keep walking. At this particular store on this day, I did see a very active security guard really walking around watching to prevent theft, not just standing around which is usually the case. I, for one, appreciate this. Too much theft in Portland and it affects all of us. I like that they have security guards; I'm there to shop not steal so their presence doesn't bother me. Another stop at Ross, another bargain found!

Some refuse to assist when asked for help, or if they do, it's as if helping is a major inconvenience to them. They also lock the doors before posted business hours, without any explanation or warning. There is no point in operating a business if you are not going to switch things up on a whim, especially when this is a corporate company. I asked several employees to show me where (a sign, a website , etc.) they have specified that the store closes 5-10 minutes early, and none of them could. One of them refused to speak to me (he actually ran, & gave a snarky response while doing so), even though I was very polite when asking. None of the employees I've encountered over the last few weeks should be working in customer service. If there was another Target nearby, I would frequent that one, but unfortunately, this is it. Hopefully, the people working here will receive the necessary training on how to work with the public, & how to execute proper customer service at all times. I understand wanting to get home, but there is a better way to go about doing things. If the store is going to close early, the hours that are posted should reflect this.

Huge parking lot in a strip mall with many businesses. It was dark when I arrived and the parking lot was pretty dim with some lights burnt out. I don't like dark parking lots so found a light to park under. First thing I noticed when through the doors was Valentines items. I picked out a couple cards, cute red waffle iron and a set of kitchen towels for a gift. As I proceeded back further into the store there were several empty rows and a couple more partially empty rows. I was hoping for more but this location was pretty non-impressive. They took over an abandoned store, can't remember what was there, just know that having a HomeGoods here will definitely revitalize this little area. People were coming and going and it was quite crowded for a rainy Sunday. Maybe it's the time of year, but the large store footprint was not filled with goods like most HomeGoods. Many shelves and entire sections were bare. Like all HomeGoods, they had all the usual suspects - seasonal, gourmet food and snacks, gourmet chocolate, art, bedding, kitchen gadgets, bakeware, storage, small furniture, rugs, home decor, pet toys, beds and bowls, lamps, towels, pillows, bath accessories, faux plants and more! My favorite section is the gourmet food. It's a challenge for me to leave a HomeGoods without a bag of artisanal pasta! They have so many varieties and shapes not found in grocery stores in the PNW so when I see them, I have to purchase! I'm from an Italian American family with roots in NJ where the pasta aisles at grocery stores are a full aisle! So this section thatba,so contains olive oils, aged balsamic, roasted peppers, capers, pesto, artichoke tapenade and other Italian pantry items makes me very happy. The seasonal section is also a must. Right now it's exploding with all things pink, red, hearts and love for Valentine's Day. Those gnomes that used to be relinquished to the garden now find themselves dressed up for every season. Shelves filled with gnomes wearing pink hats and sweaters dominate this section. I'm in this area frequently running errands so no doubt this will become a regular stop.

There were a lot of popular and well known brands, including Macy's and JC Penny. There were few restaurants, bakery and a boba store available as well. But I also noticed few spaces were empty and paper cover on their glass doors. We came here to stop by Dave & Busters. There was no indoor entrance to D&B from the mall, we had to walk out from the main building to enter D&B. But overall this was a decent mall for shopping and dining in this area.

Five Stars The Mall That Still Gets It Right…read more Let me start off by saying this. I'd love to hit every single spot in here and give them all their moment, but you're only getting a handful of my favorites because this place is massive. And honestly, that's part of the charm. Clackamas Town Center is what a mall is supposed to be. You've got the movie theater, a legit food court, a full-on carousel, and hundreds of shops that'll keep you wandering longer than you planned. And here's something real. When it's hot outside or you've got kids bouncing off the walls, stepping into that air conditioning feels like you just made a life decision that matters. You'll walk this place and accidentally get your steps in. It's the kind of exercise you don't argue with. They've got little things that make a difference too. A koi pond that slows you down for a second. Kid corners where families can reset. It's not just shopping. It's an experience you can stretch into a whole afternoon without even trying. Now let's talk convenience, because this place nails it. TriMet runs right through here with both bus and MAX light rail access. There's a park and ride, which is clutch. You can literally park your car and take the MAX straight out to Portland International Airport and skip the airport parking headache. That alone makes this place a power move. And the surrounding lineup is stacked. You've got the Residence Inn right in the mix, plus food spots like Claim Jumper, Oswego Grill, Mezcaluna, and fun like Dave and Buster's. Whether you're eating, hanging out, or making a night of it, it's all right there. Fun fact time. This mall first opened back in 1981 and has gone through multiple expansions to become one of the largest shopping centers in Oregon. It's also one of the few in the region that still feels modern, alive, and constantly evolving while others have slowed down or faded out. Inside, you've got everything from AT&T to REI and more shops than you'll realistically hit in one trip. You can come here for a couple errands and somehow lose a few hours without regret. Only downside. Parking can be a mission. You might end up a bit of a walk out. But honestly, that just adds to the experience. More steps, more time, more reason to wander. In my opinion, this is the mall in the Portland area. The others might exist, but this one actually delivers. It's clean, it's modern, it's full of life, and it gives you a reason to come back. If you're anywhere nearby and wondering where to go, this is it.

When I entered the store, I wondered if they were still in business as there were hardly any people shopping. In an hour of wandering various departments in search of deals, I saw maybe 10 other shoppers. And only 2 fitting rooms open on the far ends of the store. But what I did find were a few really nice sweaters and several pairs of wide and straight leg jeans at really reasonable prices. I opted for a gorgeous teal, blue and plaid long, duster style cardigan with pockets. It's a Liz Claiborne, which I haven't purchased in years, but the colors, style and pattern was exceptional. On sale for $38 from $60, and a coupon for another 20% off bringing it to under $32.00, I couldn't pass on it. I'm so glad I didn't because it's absolutely stunning! Wish the cool weather would arrive so I can wear it! At the customer pick up counter, I went to retrieve the jeans I ordered online. It had been 4 hours since I placed the order, but I never received a message saying my order was ready. I was ready to leave, so went and inquired at the counter. Sure enough they had the jeans, but they are dealing with a transition to a new system so text messages weren't sent. Well, if the jeans had been there when I arrived, I never would have browsed the store to kill time, and wouldn't have found my new cardigan, so it all worked out.
