Ive been so happy with the service and selection I've found at this Macy's Home Store. Matthew in the furniture/bedding department is a great salesperson, and has assisted me in the purchase of a couple mattresses, as well as some furniture. Macys stands behind the products they sell and has been very helpful. If I haven't been happy with my purchases, Ive had no issues returning or exchanging products. I bought an expensive mattress, and once I got it home I wasn't happy with the comfort of it. Macy's took the mattress back, no questions asked, and let me select a new mattress which I love. Ive also found them to have a great selection of furniture and rugs here. The prices are in line with other home stores and they often have sales which make the prices very competitive. read more

So many of the items have no price on them! I was frustrated and mentioned it to the check out person who told us Macys was doing that more and more. They expect you to find a scanner located somewhere or use the Macys app and scan the barcode from the app so they can track your every whim. read more

We just purchased our 3rd couch from them, we went back to a leather one that fits in our home since we moved. We found a great couch similar to the brown leather in previous review and pics. We got a very similar couch but Grey and smaller for our house. The salesperson Krista was great. Not pushy whatsoever, but got us pricing on what we liked. Price was fantastic, just like our other 2 couches which is why we go in and online they aren't on sale when I looked it up when we got home. Our first couch from here we are currently using and it's 6 years old, so we definitely got our money out of both previous couches and can't wait for an upgrade this summer. read more

Updating this because of the delivery/logistics nightmare. I ordered a king bedroom set back in March knowing it would take a long time to be delivered, fine. I get a call that it's in stock and ready to be delivered end of May so I get that taken care of. A couple days later I get a call from the warehouse that the order is incomplete despite being told otherwise. So I've now set a full day aside and that's now it has been cancelled. After phone tag with the store I am told that I can set up another delivery window for the remaining pieces, which I do. Then the pieces that were routes elsewhere in error will be delivered some time in July. Not ideal but I have no other choice other than cancelling the whole order and starting the process over again with a different set (which I don't want since I already own the dresser and am trying to match it). Fast forward today when the chest and nightstands are being delivered and they have deep scratches on the top. I'm told I can refuse/reorder or they'll send a tech out to fix. I opt for the latter since this whole process has taken 3+ months at this point and it seems to be quicker. During this time the pieces were discounted less than what I originally bought them for and I called to get a price match and they said they would honor it, yet when I hit my credit card the old price was reflected. I was not seeking anything additional despite this whole process being a headache, but I'm just really disappointed at how difficult it is to order furniture from Macy's. The sales team is fantastic and they do what they can, however I recommend shopping elsewhere at this point. Additionally I would like to point out that the delivery team was not at fault for the damage, they were quick and professional and pointed out the damage immediately. read more

My fiance and I are closing in on our wedding day and are using the Macy's Home Furnishing dept at the Clackamas Town Center as the main store within our registry. Jerry must've seen the look of dispare on our faces as we were losing our focus in a labyrinth of household merchandise. As Jerry closed the gap between us, my mind went into sales associate battle mode... Jerry's professionalism, calm demeanor and direct approach toward helping us first and selling us something second.. gave my fiance and I the unassuming lifeline we needed to keep going. I'm not the shopping veteran like my fiance, but I know enough to see that Jerry is a true professional. I learned more about luggage, air fryers, bed covers, blankets, dishes, juicers and sheets than I ever hoped to know in just a few short hours. He taught us about the true value of the not only the various products, but also in how the items would compliment each other within our home. His extraordinary sales knowledge, willingness to teach us about wedding registry data input and ability to read our non verbal body language cues not only saved us from potentially walking out of the store feeling defeated... But rather gave us focus and direction which inevitably had us beeping the hand held scanner almost to a steady tone throughout the store! Thank You Jerry!! For helping us when you could've been procurring commission dollars elsewhere, but gave us the time and effort to make our Macy's Wedding Registration the BEST experience we could've hoped for!! I read the below average reviews, but decided to buy from this store anyway. I was lucky enough to get there during one of their 365 sales a year. I bought a couch set, and got home only to find out the wrong color was ordered. I notified the salesperson, and the item was cancelled. It is over 2 moths later, and still no credit. I have spoke to both the salesperson, and the GM "Kelly", who have both assured me the credit was issued. 40 days later, still no credit. They are holding my refund hostage, and the service is sooo crappy. It should be noted that after cancelling the wrong color ordered, I ordered the right color. I waited 2 weeks for delivery, only to find out they delivered the wrong facing sofa set. ""White glove" delivery which you pay $200.00 for, said to just keep it and let the store know. I called the store and found the salesperson entered one number wrong, causing the wrong item to be delivered. I was sooo done with Macy's that I just told them come pick up the wrong items delivered. Three weeks later the items are still in my living room, and they are scheduled to come back tomorrow to pick up. Knowing Macy's, I'm quite certain something will go wrong. If your looking for a major headache, and have lots of extra time to spend chasing down credits, correct items,and delivery issues, then my friend this store is for you. Enjoy! read more

Macy's is always having a sale. Labor Day, Memorial Day, President's Day, Black History Month Sale. And I am one for sales. I keep 2fers, coupons, and email flyers in my mom bag for such occasions. I've been hitting up Macy's Home Store at least once a month for household items. Since I have a big girl job now I can spend money on: nice sheets (Style & Co 350 thread count, remarkably soft for being the generic Macy's brand, queen set) - $29 roasting pan set (Back To Basics, including baster, rack, prongs) - $20 14in skillet with lid (Mz Martha Stewart, nonstick aluminum) - $19 And today, a KitchenAid blender. I just found it online, and it's $20off. This since it's coming into glorious Oregon berry time, and I'm trying to eat more healthy. Soo, yes, Macy's Home Store. I think you're great. Now that Clackamas Town Center isn't such a divey mall of Tonya Harding fame, I frequent you more. And the best time to visit you is mornings when you open at 10. Friendly people to help me and all. Fortch, the Home Store is not attached to the regular Macy's, so one can avoid multitudes of kids, moms, teens. And parking is great... but only at 10am. read more

My review is focused entirely on the first floor furniture department. The gf and I had finally decided on a sofa which has periodically been on sale. We went in and noticed that they were running a special on it again but not quite as cheap as I've seen it in the past. About that time I was approached by a seasoned customer service rep (Tom). I know that Macy's runs frequent coupons etc. so I explained what my target price point was and inquired about any additional ways to accomplish my goal. Now keep in mind, Tom was exceedingly helpful, professional and, most importantly, not pushy in any way. He explained that I could save an additional $100 by opening a Macy's card which would accomplish my goal precisely. So far...so good. Here's the rub. Tom then mentioned that the sofa would be subject to a delivery fee of $95. I commented that I could easily pick up and transport the sofa so "that's not a problem." He then explained that this particular store is a "showroom" only and that they have the sofa transported from Seattle or LA. Furthermore, in the unlikely event that I wanted to drive to LA (no doubt out of pure spite for having to pay $95) neither of those locations were set up for local pickup. Bottom line is that the advertised price for this sofa (and presumably every piece of furniture at that location) is subject to an additional, and unavoidable, delivery fee. That means a posted price of $1,000 is actually $1,095. Given that this is not posted anywhere on the sofa (I triple checked) it amounts to some sneaky bullshit. Again, in the unlikely event that someone at Macy's reads this, or even remotely cares, I am not complaining about Tom who actually impressed me as a great sales rep. Indeed, he's the only reason I gave this place two stars after sniffing out this shyster scam. read more

Terrible customer service. The signs tell you to go to a certain register to pick up items ordered on-line. I got in that line which is also a line helping regular customers buying stuff so I had to wait 15 minutes while regular registers are open all over the place. Then when I get to front of the line. I'm told that since its jewelry I had to go to the jewelry counter which I was escorted over to then I was told to wait as they help phone customers. It took me over 30 mins to pick up and item I paid for. The only good costumer service was done by the girl behind the jewelry counter who apologized for the wait. Very upset with recent experience with furniture delivery. I bought a couch at Macy's home store about 3 weeks ago. I was very happy with the customer service I received while purchasing the couch. I paid a delivery fee and set up the delivery for the day of my move in to my new home on 3/19. I was super excited to have my beautiful new couch in my new home on my move in day. The day before it was to be delivered, I received an email for a time slot of when the couch should be delivered, between 7:30am-9:30am. The morning of what should have been delivery day, I received a phone call at 7am from the delivery man saying he was 5 minutes away from my new house and wanted to deliver it. I told him it would be too early, it was 25 minutes before the scheduled time slot I was told in the email. I also wouldn't be receiving my keys to the place until 7:30am. I asked him to wait until 7:30am and he said he could not do that. I asked if they could deliver the next day instead and he said "sure, let me have the dispatcher call you to set up a new delivery time." The dispatcher called me a few minutes later and I explained the situation. I asked if the couch could be delivered the next day and she said, "no." Not let me see what else is available, she just said no. When I explained the delivery man told me he could, her response was "well, he's just a delivery guy he doesn't know" and when I asked why she couldn't help me her response was "well I'm just a dispatcher I don't know." I ended up hanging up because she was so rude and didn't help me whatsoever. I ended up calling the delivery customer service line later and spoke to someone else, and she offered me a delivery date of March 27th, which was 8 days away. I asked if the couch could be delivered the next day (the 19th). She put me on hold for 30 minutes so she could find a manager to make sure it could be delivered the next day. She got back on the phone and assured me they could deliver it on the 19th and that I should be received an email or phone call that evening with the delivery time. I never received an email or phone call and the couch never came the next day so I called them again but couldn't get through to someone to help me, it would only let me use the automated system. So I set up a delivery time for this Saturday 3/23 on the automated system. If 3/23 was available, why did the woman on the phone say the next day available was 3/27?? I should be received an email or phone call today to give me the delivery time for tomorrow. I'm not going to get my hopes up. Oh, don't forget, I paid a delivery fee to not have it delivered on the arranged day and time and now its a huge hassle to get it rescheduled?? Absolutely ridiculous. I've already told my family and friends to not use delivery with Macy's. I wanted to buy the matching chair to my sofa but I won't be going back. read more

I came to the Macy's Home Store for the Tom Douglas cooking demo a couple weeks ago (thanks to Yelp for the notice!). Everyone knows what Macy's sells, so no need to talk about that. What we do need to talk about is how Macy's needs to do more cooking demos! It was so much fun! Tom was fantastic, funny, energetic. It was a great way to spend a Friday night. wOW! Where do I start? Way back-3+ years now my husband and I HAD to shop for a new bed! We went to three places, Macy's the sleep# place and bedmart! After spending 3 whole weekends, laying hours and hours on beds( this is NOT an exaggeration)! We had choose between Macy's and Bedmart! We purchased at Bedmart, because we were " bamboozled" by a gimmicky bed! It was a Serta, but "designed" by a back surgeon!!! Anyway, we made it thru our 120 night sleep and by the 160th, it was the worst mattress ever!!!! Way, way, way to firm!!! Still after three years, hard as a board! We had to put an additional 3 inch memory foam topper on it. Here we are today! We started looking for a new mattress only two years into having our new one. We came back to Macy's last year, hating the fact that we had to get a new mattress! This time we shopped Macy's again, and mattress firm! When we shopped Macy's last year, we had Kari help us! She was so nice, so helpful listened to what we wanted, KNEW the hesitation we had but still was there willing to help! We didn't buy at that time, because when you spend $1200 on a mattress, and three years later you have to get something else! It's a hard pill to swallow! But anyway, we again returned to Macy's in September and to our surprise!!! Kari was there to help us yet again!!!! She was glad to see us, but sad at the same time! We again took two to three weekends to lay on mattress, and to make sure we didn't make the same mistake we did three years ago! We purchased from Kari! She is just awesome! We should have just bought from here in the beginning!!! We purchased the TOP of the line Sterns and Foster, have had it for almost 60 days and it has been wonderful!!!! If u need a matt, go see Kari!!! She rocks! She will let you lay on the beds for hours to make sure it is right for you!!!! And if you leave with out a purchase, and you return, she will remember you!!!! read more

This is one of the nicest Macy's Home Stores in the area. The top floor is where I spend 100% of my time, so please do not read on if you're looking into the furniture department. As Melissa mentions there are ALWAYS deals here, and the staff is super friendly. I have been in and out a bunch lately, since we decided to register here for our wedding. I have been super impressed with the level of service of the staff. I have had pesky returns and oh so many gift cards, coupons, etc, but everyone has been more than willing to help. I will also mention that it's hard to try to find the right selection of stuff that you want under one department store. Macy's has done a tasteful job balancing items like All-Clad and Calvin Klein sheets with run of the mill stuff like a mixer, blender, and even dishware at reasonable prices. I would highly recommend this location for a quite, nondramatic, shopping experience. read more

I needed a new piece of luggage for traveling. They had a large selection, and someone to help was there pretty fast. It was also a sale of 50% off. I'm not sure it would have been that affordable without that sale. Even with the sale the prices were $130 - to $400. read more

I just moved and couldn't wait a week for the mattress though, but I shopped around and saw the same mattress set at mattress world and they delivered it the same day! read more

If I could give Macy's Home store zero stars I would. DO NOT BUY Furniture from this store. It took 3.5 hours to buy a couch set(that I came to the store planning to buy and tire kicking or anything). I spent 2 whole hours arguing with the sales clerk Calvin who was trying to charge me $3000 for a $1200 couch set and getting out my calculator to show him that the math didn't make any sense. It was the most absurd shopping experience I've ever endured. On top of that, my whole plan was to purchase the couch on a Macy's card to take advantage of a 12 months, no interest promotion. BUT HE RAN THE CARD WRONG AND NOW I'M PAYING AN INSANE AMOUNT OF INTEREST!!!! Then when I called the credit card company they said there was nothing they could do about it and I would need to contact Macy's. When I contacted Macy's they said there was nothing they could do about it and that I would have to contact the credit card company. I asked if I could return the items because of everything that happened and they said I would be charged a restocking fee. So I urge you. PLEASE DO NOT SHOP HERE. And if you do. Make sure you add up your purchases yourself so you don't get over charged. And don't use your Macy's card when they tell you there's a promotion unless you're willing to pay the 27% interest anyway. Also it might be worth mentioning that the delivery fee's for a couch and love seat were $300!!! We had twice as much furniture delivered from Dania for $85. read more

Store is very big, with two levels. The bottom level has sofas and rugs and wall decorations...while the top level has everything else for the home (plates, bedding, etc.). My first experience at a Macys Home Store was one in Vegas, and that store was my standard going into this one. The Vegas one is smaller -- darker -- but more intimate. At this store, it's not a 5 stars, because the sale's associates can be a bit too hovering. Anyway, I love their selection of sofas...but when we went here over the weekend, I was a little disappointed in their current selection of sofas. Anyway -- if you love furniture -- this is the best place to find some good, quality sofas. read more

This is Furniture. Bought a high end leather couch 1.5 years ago ($2100) and product fell apart inside on the top of the backing, which fell down inside couch. I'm a neat freak so was not happy. Called and they sent someone out to examine...people said yes this is product defect should be covered. Then they call me back and say NO..."someone sat on top of the couch" which caused this. Only me..not a chance. Different from what the exerts who came out to look at it. Long story short, I paid a guy $300 to take couch to his shop, take a part and fix. He said, terrible construction, didn't staple top portion in correctly with not enough fill. PRODUCT DEFECT. So I'm out $300 + the warranty I bought which was worthless and I will never buy again. But I just getting started at reducing Macy's business!! read more
