World Market boasts an extensive range of products from around the world, including furniture, home decor, kitchenware, textiles, and gourmet foods. Although I came in looking for something very specific , the store kind of dictated what I bought and I walked back home with a bag full of things I didn't need in the first place . Lol This particular location is small compared to other world Markets but there is a little bit of everything . Whether you're looking for artisanal ceramics, exotic spices or a fun little snack you're likely to find something that piques your interest. While the prices at World Market are generally affordable, the quality of the products can vary. Some may be well-crafted and durable, while others may be more budget-friendly and not for use in the long term.

This World Market store seems to hold more items. Lots of choices everywhere. Not a lot of spaces to walk around to look at stuff, especially on a weekends. They had Christmas items available. Advent calendars and gift ideas. Lots of good international foods everywhere. Novelty drinks available. International drinks, beers and ales available.

An acquired taste, I like it.

Love this store. My goto for furniture and kitchen stuff, the price point and quality is a comfortable middle between low-end IKEA and most local brick and mortar shops. But it's for the grocery selection why I go. They have Chinotto, a bitter orange Italian soft drink. And I was pleasantly surprised to find Heinz Salad Cream which is difficult to locate in the States.

Huge parking lot in a strip mall with many businesses. It was dark when I arrived and the parking lot was pretty dim with some lights burnt out. I don't like dark parking lots so found a light to park under. First thing I noticed when through the doors was Valentines items. I picked out a couple cards, cute red waffle iron and a set of kitchen towels for a gift. As I proceeded back further into the store there were several empty rows and a couple more partially empty rows. I was hoping for more but this location was pretty non-impressive. The one is Tualatin is wonderful and chuck full of items. They do charge for bags, 5 cents.

While I was…read moreheading south towards Michael's, my car turned left down the drive towards HomeGoods, located in the strip mall with PetSmart. They took over an abandoned store, can't remember what was there, just know that having a HomeGoods here will definitely revitalize this little area. People were coming and going and it was quite crowded for a rainy Sunday. Maybe it's the time of year, but the large store footprint was not filled with goods like most HomeGoods. Many shelves and entire sections were bare. Like all HomeGoods, they had all the usual suspects - seasonal, gourmet food and snacks, gourmet chocolate, art, bedding, kitchen gadgets, bakeware, storage, small furniture, rugs, home decor, pet toys, beds and bowls, lamps, towels, pillows, bath accessories, faux plants and more! My favorite section is the gourmet food. It's a challenge for me to leave a HomeGoods without a bag of artisanal pasta! They have so many varieties and shapes not found in grocery stores in the PNW so when I see them, I have to purchase! I'm from an Italian American family with roots in NJ where the pasta aisles at grocery stores are a full aisle! So this section thatba,so contains olive oils, aged balsamic, roasted peppers, capers, pesto, artichoke tapenade and other Italian pantry items makes me very happy. The seasonal section is also a must. Right now it's exploding with all things pink, red, hearts and love for Valentine's Day. Those gnomes that used to be relinquished to the garden now find themselves dressed up for every season. Shelves filled with gnomes wearing pink hats and sweaters dominate this section. I'm in this area frequently running errands so no doubt this will become a regular stop.

The day I was there, the majority of colors were cream, white, gray and shades of blue which matches my own decor so I felt right at home. If I hadn't already completely decorated my new condo, I would have purchased several pieces from this store. The textured credenza would so be in my foyer right now! If you are seeking a standout piece of furniture, a statement mirror, gorgeous coffee table books or just inspiration, Wishbone Home & Design is your store. Located right in downtown Lake Oswego, if you are shopping or running errands around First Street, stop in! It's really a treat. I can't vouch for their design services as I've never hired them, but based on the quality items and the way the store is cohesively pulled together, I'd hire them with confidence. Whenever I'm in a lake Oswego, I will definitely make a point to stop back. While I may not need the larger furniture items and art, there were so many books, textured pillows, vases, trays and other decor items that I can use to update a room or buy for gifts. So glad I found this shop!

She asked me to empty my pockets, which I did. I showed her all the stuff in my pockets, my phone, my headphones, keys, though she still didn't believe me and threatened to call security, so I emptied the extra pockets on my cargo pants which had a used eraser and spare change. She ended up letting me leave but I was baffled, I'd never been accused of stealing from there before and was kind of offended, but I do look like a punk teen and had a bunch of pockets with change and my keys in them, so that's on me I guess.
